What a show! Microsoft flexed their Game Pass muscles and announced 30 titles, 27 of which will be on Game Pass. From Starfield, Halo Infinite, Forza 5, a hilarious Outer Worlds 2 reveal, and the brand new vampire-hunter IP Redfall, Microsoft's presentation might as well be the best in show.
And then we have the dissapointment that is Square Enix's presentation. Apart from spending around a third of their time on the new Guardian of the Galaxy game, it just didn't seem like they were ready this year.

Samsung Unpacked April 2021 event was the launch point of new laptop offerings from Samsung that tout AMOLED displays at the high end, an affordable everyday use laptop, and their first gaming laptop from the new Odyssey line. Kevin and I give our thoughts on what might be another set of options worth considering when buying a new laptop. Apple could be introducing a new Hifi audio plan in Apple Music with support for higher fidelity audio streams, and Riot Games will now record player's voice chats in Valorant to investigate claims of harassment and hate speech.

Playstation is developing an AI that will mimic the way you play your games so that it can play them for you. Sure, we still can't pause an online game but I guess this is the next best thing. 

Also, the leaks were true and Sony WILL be introducing a video streaming service for PS Plus members. It'll be called PS Plus Video Pass and will be tested in Poland only for the next year. 

Finally, Nintendo is still playing catchup when it comes to an online ecosystem but if you're a fan of Super Mario Party then you'll be pleased to know that it got a major update to its online play. This shouldn't be news in 2021 but it's Nintendo.

As someone who has done some casual and mild gaming on PC and a bunch of consoles, to me the PC is a clear winner in the ongoing battle between PC and console gamers. Graphics, performance, and upgradability are just some of the reasons why gaming on a PC is simply better, however, the next gen consoles announced by Microsoft and Sony seem to be narrowing that gap a little bit.
