We often say that, for most businesses, the website is the foundation for everything you do
in digital. That’s because many of your other digital efforts focus on driving potential and
current customers to your site. If the experience there is poor, many will simply bounce.
When we consult with healthcare clients, we often help them re-focus efforts onto improving
the website user experience (UX) so customers stay engaged and covert. In this
comprehensive, hour-long webinar we’ll cover the following areas that are critical to a great
website, including the 7 areas of great website UX, plus a few core tips on better
storytelling, balancing SEO and UX, and improving lead generation.
We hope to see you there!

New research validates what we already knew - physicians are incredibly resilient, yet they’re still burning out at alarming rates (1). That’s because by some estimates, up to 80% of the issues causing physician burnout can be traced backed to the system from which they came. However, there are strategies physicians can employ while we advocate for better policy and system change. This webinar will offer a definition of the four components of physician wellness - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual - and then offer strategies to support ourselves in each of these areas.

Existing challenges in medical practices have been magnified during the pandemic. A decrease in patient volume mandated by the necessary restriction has resulted in a drop in revenue, while fixed costs have remained, resulting in solvency concerns. This impact will have lasting effect as the pandemic continues.
In order to address these challenges, an evolution is necessary. Practices will need to adopt a flexible business model, allowing them to have more control of their costs in order to maintain and thrive as market conditions and new patient preferences ebb and flow over time.
An alternative to one of the largest fixed costs of medical practices will be covered, and recommendations on a flexible business model will be provided.

The SLAM process offers a simple framework –the 8-step ‘SLAM’ diagram and the 8-step ‘GRAND’ diagram to help any person with an idea for a startup, or an early stage start up to think through the most critical steps that need to be considered to maximize the chances of success. These are designed to help entrepreneurs, ideators, and side-hustlers to both practically think about the viability of their startup in a highly structured way (and not to miss out critical steps) and then, if this looks good, to put a strong execution plan together that will have enough momentum to have the best possible chance of succeeding.
Experienced healthcare startup mentor, Dr. Jon Warner, will explain how the lean startup oriented SLAM process can help startup entrepreneurs identify critical pain-points in healthcare to deliver better solutions.
The SLAM process was developed by Dr. Jon Warner and is described fully in the newly released SLAM book. https://www.slamprocess.com.

While from different eras, The Titanic and Theranos are two now infamous examples of epic failure. But both are also reflective of the fact that it is seldom one thing—the iceberg or the CMS orders to cease operations—that caused the failure. Rather, it was a series of small decisions across multiple domains including the people, the market, the technology/product, and the company strategy that culminated in the disaster.
This interactive session, based on the book The Titanic Effect, will give insight into the factors that resulted in the sinking of both The Titanic and Theranos. We will then link these factors to life science startups, and discuss the steps life science founders and their supporters can take to avoid a similar collapse. Shame and Blame. Perfectionism. Error-Driven. Laser Focused on Mistakes. Does that sound like a description of a winning culture?
The practice of medicine is difficult, and the culture in healthcare can make it harder to deliver excellent patient care. What if we turned our focus to the positive?
There are times when negative resilience training reinforces important lessons. However, there are more times when positive resilience training would have a far greater impact on us, and others, particularly our patients.
