Today, we welcome Dr. Tom Copeland to the Chapel, not only as an accomplished teacher and speaker, but also as the brother-in-law of Janet Denison.
Today we celebrate a mother's love, one of the best representations of God's care for you. God tells the prophet, "as one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you." - Isaiah 66:13.
God is beckoning us to take risks. Nick explores how we may awaken to God's call and walk by faith.
Let's get comfortable with worship, for when we worship, He comes. "Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they walk in the light of your presence Lord." - Psalm 89:15.
He is risen! He is risen, indeed!
Why did Jesus have to rise from the dead? What was it about the tomb that changed everything? Why is it that the tomb stillchanges everything?
Why did He have to die? You know that Jesus died for our sin, but why did he have to do that?
"Intimacy" - in to me you see. It requires the vulnerability and courage to be truly seen. Christie Penn conquers spiritual intimacy, calling us to imagine what it looks like and what it takes to be truly intimate with God.
"Prayer does not equip us for the greater works- Prayer is the work." - Oswald Chambers.
Where do you need God to be God? Now let's learn how to pray for that.
Is there a place in your life where you need God to do what only God can do? Where in your life do you need God to show up? What do you need to do to experience what only God can do?
