The Messengers is a documentary about podcasting. This podcast is the inside stories about the documentary. Yes we know, a podcast about a movie about podcasting. Hear about the stories that are changing lives, that inspire people to sacrifice to get the word out. What's your message?
In this episode, we hear about the team knocking on doors and having screenings of the movie. Danny Peña was using every ounce of influence he had tapped into friends, family, and his connection with CBS radio.
The podcast premiered on March 22, 2017, at the Tampa Theatre in Florida. From there we had screenings in Miami, New York City (at CBS), and more. Once again the crew was on the road, making connections, spreading their message, and building buzz for when the podcast would be available on iTunes.

In the last episode Willie had tried (and tried, and tried) to talk some sense into Saulo. Now the boys had to figure out if the movie could be made without Saulo's footage.
Even if they could, they had tons of footage to sift through as the started to edit the movie.
As long as things were smooth, they should be able to meet the deadlines.
Well, you will hear the hurdles that the crew has to overcome as "things go smooth." You will understand how they felt, as you get a behind the scenes peek a week before and the day before the movie premiere.

In this episode you hear Willie Harper (who was on the phone in the last episode and couldn't hear the conversation) and Saulo Zayas as Willie tries to figure out why Zaulo didn't ask for more money, when he was given additional responsibilities.
In the end you may see why he was removed from the project.
So will the crew come up with a "Plan C" as A and B have gone into the trash?

Today you hear a disagreement between Executive Producer Kris Krimitsos and Editor Saulo Zayas as Chris has decided to remove Saulo from the project.
Saula had planned on that paycheck for editing, he felt he had spent time shooting the film and wanted paid for the time he had put in.
So how do you come up with a fair price to pay Saulo without bankrupting the documentary?
Everyone involved with this episode knew there was a tape recorder recording.
Today we go behind the scenes where you can hear what goes into a video shoot when you get one shot to get it right.

In this episode we listen in on some heated dialogue between Executive Producer Chris Krimitsos and Film Makers Neil Guilarte and Willie Harper.
When a band who players covers suddenly announces "This next song is one of our own" everyone in the club sits back, crosses their arms, and thinks, "OK, Let's see what you got."
On the other hand, I've purchased music before simply due to the fat that they had one "Artist of the Year."
So Chris suggested taking the phrase "Award Winning Film Makers" out of the trailer, and the following dialogue takes place.
