The Quiet Voice is a podcast all about the ups and downs of pursuing slow and creative work. Hosted by Sarirah Hamid, a blogger, small business owner and slow living explorer in London.
You are enough. And so is your work. This week's topic is all about the three mindset shifts I've made over the last year to help me deal with that battle and the pressure of perfect vs imperfect work. Short but sweet with a few journaling questions at the end to help you on your creative journey.
This week's topic is about harnessing your analog creative processes AKA writing by hand. Living in a world of non-stop connection to technology and constantly typing out everything from the get-go, this episode takes you through how putting pen to paper can: fuel creativity, help you connect ideas and visualise them better and deal with some of the self-doubts that manifest from constantly needing to seek approval from others to validate your ideas.
So, grab a drink and your notebook for this short soundbite as you'll want to get straight into scribbling those ideas by hand afterwards.
The first episode of The Quiet Voice is here! I wanted to talk about goal planning. It’s the kind of thing that can be quite hit or miss especially at the start of a new year. I for one am not really feeling the "new year, new me" vibe just a continuation of what I've already started. If you're feeling a little overwhelmed, uninspired or just want to take it slow then this episode is for you. It's all about a slower approach to goal setting through the probably made up term of "slow planning". Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening! Your feedback is always appreciated.
