Cardi B along with fellow female rapper, Megan Thee Stallion have put out a video to their new song WAP. Well what does WAP mean anyway? Cardi B was gracious enough to inform the public that WAP means Wet Ass . Yeah there it is.
If you haven’t seen the video go check it out. It is getting a lot of press and apparently it’s a hit. When I first heard and watched the video I immediately said “Well there’s your next song to dance to girls” I was referring to strippers in the club. Because of the soft girl on girl action that the video gives you with a highly sexual lesbian dance routine performed by Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion, the single also features other A-list (???) female celebs. There are cameos from Ex-Fifth Harmony member now solo artist Normani, she auditioned for The X Factor in 2012 where consequently the all girl group Fifth Harmony was born. Normani also appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2017.

I think the democrats are going to have it rough in 2020. After watching a documentary about the 2016 race where Trump won on some pretty shady and quite ingenious technological data magic I am feeling pretty pessimistic about the chances for the Dems. Who will be the nominated one? Probably Joe Biden because Americans are lazy. They will just go with the guy they know who is Joe. I don’t think that’s a good idea but here we are.

It seems that currently the term reparations is back in the political lime light for the 2020 presidential race. There have been quite a few Democratic candidates who are seeking the Black American vote. Ever since the 2016 presidential debacle many African Americans have touted that Democrats think that they automatically have the black vote therefore they do not need to do anything but a head nod to get it. Even the first black president Barack Obama didn’t do much beyond that for issues plaguing the African American community. It was thought that the mere fact that he was black, and really freaking handsome, not to mention have a deep brown skinned sistah on his arm was all he needed. And apparently so because he became president for 2 gloriously dreamy terms.

In the wake of the Pepsi commercial controversy starring Kendall Jenner I have to say that this is the most ridiculous controversy to date. Yes Black Lives Matter but so does ALL LIVES!!!!!!!!! Pepsi made a commercial about LOVE, PEACE, and HARMONY and Black Lives Matter movement decided to SHIT on it along with accusing Kendall Jenner of being some sort of conspirator. Yes this is STUPID. I know there are plenty who feel the way I do but are afraid to voice it. Well I am voicing it and YES I SAID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As the women’s march has concluded in Washington DC on January 21, 2017 and the Day Without A Woman on March 8th, the international woman’s day, there were many rumblings not only about why women are feminists at all mainly by men but also the question of should black women even be involved in the feminist movement at all. Many people have always felt that the feminist movement has only truly benefited white women and not women of color. Black women have even said that the battle cries of the feminist movement has not spoken to their trials and tribulations. Who is this, dare I say it, roar really for? So the main question has to be asked: Do black women belong in the feminist movement?

I Dream of Jeannie is an American sitcom starring Barbara Eden as a 2,000-year-old genie and Larry Hagman (before he was JR) as an astronaut who becomes her master, with whom she falls in love and whom she eventually marries. Produced by Screen Gems, the show originally aired from September 18, 1965 to May 26, 1970 with new episodes, and through September 1970 with season repeats, both on NBC. The show ran for five seasons and produced 139 episodes. I loved that show! I loved the main character, Jeanie, but I loved her mother Esmarelda, and her evil twin sister Sabrina. I seem to always love the villain and most of us do, something primal about us humans I suppose.

We are hearing so many news stories about yet another rape victim. The latest is the Stanford college student who raped an unconscious woman behind a dumpster. There were eye witnesses and yet he got off on a 3 month sentencing. This occured because the judge was an alumni of Stanford and felt that a real sentence would ruin this boy's life. This is appalling!
We must stop our young men from growing up to think that if a girl seems willing or is drunk then she is "FAIR GAME"! Where do they get this idea? A blogger who believes rape should be legalized has launched an “International Meetup Day” where supporters will gather in various locations throughout the world. Daryush Valizadeh is known for his controversial books that advise men on the best methods to have sex with women and advocates that rape be made legal inside a private home. Valizadeh, better known as Roosh V, runs the website Return of Kings that will host 165 events in 43 countries. Hosts have been asked to wait at meeting points all around the world Saturday at 8 p.m. for men who are interested in attending. The men are instructed to ask the question, “Do you know where I can find a pet shop?” Members who are part of the group will then respond, “Yes it’s right here.”Which I think the little code will be changed by the time you read this since the Police are watching.

The 24-year-old homeless “model” and mother of a 3-year-old girl left a mother-of three dead and as many as 36 other people injured when she allegedly drove into innocent pedestrians in her 1996 Oldsmobile sedan, according to The Daily Mail. Her daughter was reportedly sitting in the backseat of her car while she committed this wanton act of violence, but luckily emerged from the incident without being hurt.
Holloway reportedly told police on Monday that the reason she did this completely random act of violence was that she was frustrated to find somewhere to park her car so she could get some sleep. She added that she had been chased by security guards from parking lots after arriving from Portland, Oregon about a week previously.
Lakeisha also said that the father of her child, who she has been estranged from, may have led her to her desperate acts. Oh For CRYING OUT LOUD - Death and carnage over the fact that SOME GUY didn't live up to his LIES!!! Come ON!!!!!!!!!!!

We're all eagerly listening for the news of the death of this young woman. But who was listening to her cries while she was alive and well?
Not since the infamous coma of Sonny Von Bulow has the eyes of the public been fixed on one such soul wandering around in the deepest realms of purgatory. Today we watch and wait for the poor 22 year old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina to be finally released from her comatose state. Sonny Von Bulow’s coma which was dramatized in the book and movie Reversal of Fortune, lasted for 28 years when she finally succumbed to the light in 2008. I don’t think that Bobbi Kristina will be in her permanent vegetative state for that long. As of today she has been brain dead for about 7 1/2 months. Her family refusing to let go. In June of 2015 it did seem that the family has decided to release her when they placed her in an Atlanta hospice.

M&M offers his opinion on whether the Confederate Flag should come down. The Confederate flag from the 1861-65 U.S. Civil War has become a lightning rod for outrage after the shooting of nine black churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina, last month. The white suspect, Dylann Roof, had posed for photos with the Confederate battle flag.
Politicians in several Southern states have called for removal of the flag and other Confederate memorials from public spaces. A raft of major retailers have said they would pull items with the Confederate flag on them.
Although online dating sites and mobile apps have changed how people date, the fact that dangerous people still exist has not. In the last six months, the Mt. Pleasant Police Department has dealt with two instances of criminal sexual conduct (CSC) as a result of people who met using a social media site or dating application. The most recent incident involved a female student from Central Michigan University who was sexually assaulted after meeting up with a man she met on the mobile dating app Tinder.

We have a very good topic tonight and guest Activist, Rashida Strober. She has come under fire for these words:
“Well, well, well would you looky here. ANOTHER FAKE CONSCIOUS MUTHER F-KER EXPOSED. I will never support him nor his music with one dime of my money and encourage all dark skinned women not to either!” she wrote.
Strober’s comments gained traction with folks who either fully support the “Dark Skin Is Beautiful” campaign founder or didn’t share her views on Lamar. In response to her nonsupporters, Strober posted the following response:

Since 1998, Rashida Strober has been known as an advocate for people with darker complexions, according to her biography, which mentioned that her cause was inspired after years of bullying from classmates who put her down because of her complexion. Stage plays created by the Florida native include “A Dark-Skinned Woman’s Revenge” and “Ice Cream Lady’s Dream.”
Luther Ronzoni Vandross, Jr. (April 20, 1951 – July 1, 2005) was an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Throughout his career, Vandross was an in demand background vocalist for several different artists including Chaka Khan, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, David Bowie, Barbra Streisand, Ben E. King, and Donna Summer. He later became the lead singer of the group Change, which released its certified gold debut album, The Glow of Love, in 1980 on Warner Bros. Records. After Vandross left the group, he was signed to Epic Records as a solo artist and released his debut solo album, Never Too Much, in 1981.
His hit songs include, "Never Too Much", "Here and Now", "Any Love", "Power of Love/Love Power", "I Can Make It Better" and "For You to Love". Many of his songs were covers of original music by other artists such as "If This World Were Mine" (duet with Cheryl Lynn), "Since I Lost My Baby", "Superstar" and "Always and Forever". Duets such as "The Closer I Get to You" with Beyoncé, "Endless Love" with Mariah Carey and "The Best Things in Life Are Free" with Janet Jackson were all hits in his career.
During his career, Vandross sold over 25 million records worldwide, and received eight Grammy Awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four different times. He won a total of four Grammy Awards in 2004 including the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for a song recorded not long before his death, "Dance with My Father". The song was co-written with Vandross' friend and protégé, Richard Marx.
Tonight we welcome author and Jonestown survivor Laura Johnston Kohl to the show. When 914 members of Peoples Temple and four visiting Americans died in Guyana, South America on November 18, 1978, Laura Johnston Kohl survived. She was one of 87 who lived through the trauma.
After participating with the Black Panthers, and attending Woodstock, Laura moved into Peoples Temple in California in 1970, and was an active and enthusiastic member until the day it ended. She moved to Guyana in March 1977. She frequently traveled between Georgetown and Jonestown, a 24-hour boat ride, but moved into Jonestown in October 1978. Laura’s survival was a fluke.
It took twenty years for Laura to rebuild her life and have the determination to research this tragedy. The first ten years were spent in Synanon. Then, she reunited with many of the other survivors to put the pieces together and to get some understanding. After ten years she wrote her autobiography.

And even though I "scheduled guest" did not show up we had a blast discussing trending topics such as the shooting in Ottawa, Anderson Cooper's perfect looks and how NOT to get a selfie with him. We discussed Rosie O'Donnell and The View. We chatted about how if they made the minimum wage for fast food workers $15 then we had better get MUCH BETTER SERVICE!! Rice and Palmer — now his wife, Janay Rice — can be heard shouting obscenities at each other, and she appears to spit at Rice right before he throws a brutal punch. After she collapses, he drags her out of the elevator and is met by some hotel staff. One of them can be heard saying, "She's drunk, right?" And then, "No cops."
Well there will be cops – the FBI: The NFL has hired former FBI director Robert S. Mueller III to investigate the league's pursuit and handling of evidence in the Ray Rice domestic violence case after a report Wednesday that a league executive received videotape evidence five months before it became public.
The announcement came hours after the Associated Press published a report citing an unnamed law enforcement official who said he sent a tape of Rice punching his then-fiancée to an NFL executive long before the video surfaced on TMZ.com on Monday, leading to Rice's release from the Baltimore Ravens and his indefinite suspension by the league.
