The Record Rant Podcast, Season 2: Recent Episodes

Tom

Welcome to Season 2 of the Record Rant Podcast. Season 1 is available on podomatic.com and on iTunes. This is the show where I give my (almost always) positive feedback on certain records or albums released by claimed artists. Occasionally, I will be joined by friends of mine to join in on the fun conversations. We all hope that this podcast will be a great guide for anyone out there to help expand their music collection, and we strongly hope that listening to this show is fun to all as well. Thanks for listening!

Welcome to the second "special" edition of the Record Rant Podcast. On March 16, 2013, three friends and I got to see Eric Clapton and his band perform live at the Houston Toyota Center. In this "special" episode, I will give my feelings and thoughts about the concert and Eric Clapton's possible future as a touring artist.

If you were at any of the concerts at the tour, feel free to give any opinions you might have by leaving a comment at http://recordrantpage2.podomatic.com.

Thanks for listening, and tune in next Sunday for the season 2 finale of the Record Rant Podcast!

This one's a day late because I was on the road yesterday. Also the bandwidth was restored after shutting down the podcast for a whole month. Anyway...

On this third episode on Pink Floyd's album "The Wall," Garrett and Becca join me once again for yet another seemingly-endless discussion as we give our thoughts on the first couple of songs on disc 2. Next week, Becca will be absent so Garrett and I will give our final thoughts on this album.

Thanks for listening and enjoy! Have a great spring break everybody!

For those who are impatient to hear all of our lists, look under the comments section for this episode at http://recordrantpage2.podomatic.com to see all of our lists.

Season 1 Finale As today is 12/08/12, 12/08/80 is looked back at with my good friend, Garrett joining in again. We look at the events not just of that day, but of the years leading up to 1980 and the year itself. We commemorate John Lennon with this episode, and we will also share our favorite honors and tribute songs for John Lennon. Note: Approximately at 1:32:41, there will be a 10-minute silence in honor of the 10 minutes between the shooting and the announcement of the death. Anyone is free to use this for their own vigil to remember one of the greatest men who ever walked this Earth. Happy Holidays to all! Thank you for listening, and be sure to tune it to Season 2 of the Record Rant Podcast.
