I have SVU, Oz and then you know what American summer came along and duringhiatus so great to be that crazy. And then you know Harold and Kumar came along. That was fun but I appreciated this opportunity in Happy to play drama to certain extent Warner Bros type cartoons to certain extent and comedy."

Bobby Bala : "My first goal is for my first film that I just basically wanted to make a film with my daughter. That was really the only thing that I had in my mind so I didn't have a story or script or anything like that. I just thought that'd be kind of a once in a lifetime opportunity and so she was nine or ten when I started writing the script. So there's a small window of time wouldn't otherwise you'd be too old so we started shooting the film. "
Aleks Paunovic: "It was interesting because when we worked on it and we approached each other and then working with his daughter and just kind of getting the relationship.His integrity is questioned he's conflicted. That is trying to do the right thing through difficult circumstances and I love the idea of where this character would find these little moments even though he's throughout all is mission is to always do the right thing any fall short quite a bit so I love that that structure. I get a lot of roles because of my stature and so a lot of times when I can see the depth of character and I know I give it more. I investigated and do do some little critical thinking in finding my own deficits and my own deficiencies and and kind of putting that into the character."
I chat with this talented actor, producer and writer about his role as Mouse on Batwoman
"Alice played by Rachel Skarsten and Mouse have a relationship of their own. He's a member of the wonderland gang and he's just kind of a very dynamic character that kind of uveiled over the course of the season.He actually has kind of a complex characterization. It sounds like absolutely it's been such a ride sort of breaking down be kind of construct of who mouse. Putting together this character, his origin and working with even just the hair and makeup has been a gift. The wardrobe team along with the writers to kind of crack the code of who mouse is have been such a awesome experience And he's a very very very fun fun character and talk about working was Rachel. She really had had my back the entire time. Kind of she's been sort of a shoulder to kinda lean on and being her be so bold and competent with her choices has sort of helped me kind of make my own. Well we're such a team through this. It's exciting and kind of we kind of challenge each other and give each other."
The actor talks about co-creating Penelope Garcia from the ground up for Criminal Minds.
" I was lucky enough to get brought back for the second episode because I tested well. People said. Oh we like when that girl talks so they brought me in for the second episode thinking. We'll just bring her in and then we'll bring somebody famous or better to play the part and I was lucky enough to have chemistry with Shemar which both of us were sort of like. "What's this is cool". And they started to copy how I dressed at the time to sort of inform her and I put my grandmother's candy dish on Penelope's desk. I started to say. "Could she say this instead of this we do this instead of this" and I would always learn it the way that the writer wrote it but then I would say could I you know so she was built from the ground up and because Criminal Minds is such a great collaborative place to work with so much respect for everybody"
Actor talks using real weapons on Lord Of The Rings trilogy from 2002
"When it wasn't a safety thing then we would always use the heavy swords when we needed lighter swords we swapped it for like aluminium ones. That was fought a safety thing that we had to what it was incredible and then when we got the Elven daggers as a gift."
On Location shooting
"We had to wait for three days because of weather and the helicopters couldn't he couldn't land so we spent three days just hanging around a room like this because we're right in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't a nice hotel .The whole day was too much hassle because weather and stuff to get the helicopter Sunday night but we would just set out having lunch in this amazing location and that that's a great memory for me".
The Star Wars Memories author talks about working with Gary Kurtz who produced the first two Star Wars films.
"Gary not getting, I feel the credit he deserves. I mean not to take anything away from George. Of course Gary was part of the creation of star wars he worked with George on American Graffiti ut They wanted to go see a movie and this was in the early Seventies. The way you decided what movie to go back then if you look in the newspaper to see what was playing back when we still had newspapers And they look through the paper and they couldn't find anything they wanted to say And so they decided they should make a movie like they wanna see which was going to be like a science fiction adventure movie and at first they approached universal where George had an overall deal yet".
The legendary actor talks a pivotal scene in The Naked Time original series episode.
"It was a very fertile period and the directors were open to ideas and and Bill Shatner, myself and Deforest Kelly offering came up with character touches and character ideas and seeing ideas. That were helpful. It was a scene that was not in the original script and I asked for that seemed to be written. I think it's it's a chance to really reveal what the Interior was Spock.So they wrote it for me .It was late. One day almost at wrapped time, they just have one crack at this and then we have to wrap so we did it quickly but I turned out to be quite effective and and shortly after that episode went on the air, fan mail for Spock exploded."
The Batwoman actor talks about her character, Sophie Moore and her relationship to Kate Kane aka Batwoman
"She's doing her best because the thing is of course being in military school. That's got its own you know dramas and and business so much going just in of itself but the fact that she had this secret relationship with Kate at the military school and because of things that were in place at the time they couldn't continue the relationship so that in of itself definitely has worked on Sophie's psyche."
The actor talks about his character of Connor in Code 8 that he stars in with cousin Stephen Amell.
"I mean a lot of the movie is is driven by Connor's moral compass and how far he's willing to go to save the most important person in his life. In an early version of the script. we talked about it being connor's younger brother. And we just thought you know with a mom is a little more relatable and easier.Everybody can picture doing something they you know probably wouldn't feel comfortable doing normally If it meant you know saving saving their mom."
Actor talks playing Bruce Wayne in animation and now in live action.
"Was this wonderful actress that I'm working in Ruby Rose she so looking into her is the other side of the camera. I just fell into her. Is that okay? I'm back in in that room again. I'm back I'm able to just block out everything around me and was talking to her and And it brought it all back to the first day I was. I was very self-conscious add to get past and playing an older Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond and the upcoming crisis on infinite earths crossover on the Cw The key to me for playing old bruce in this in Batman Beyond and also in the crisis than the union is that he's he's got all the passions of young bruce all the will all the desire over needs but his body won't let him do it anymore."
The star of this graphic novel based series talks Stumptown at SDCC.
"What I could get from the graphic novels so clearly what this world wise how this character moves in in that world and and the other characters that are involved and it's just really cool.You know as an actor very often get the opportunity to you know, say a joke to a guy in the face and then do a dramatic scene of about loss. If you don't get to do that all in an episode that is it's a very rare thing to be involved with something where you play talk all of these different notes in very rarely comes along so I'm really excited about exploring them."
The Arrow actor reflects on the end of the series from SDCC
I mean little things bother me not as much as they did when we started but little things bother me and that makes it difficult to to view everything the whole but I mean we're not we're not claiming that we did this. The truth is kind of in the pudding you know what I mean like wes got Arrow, Flash. Legends, Supergirl and Black Lightning. We are proof of concept that you can do over here show on. TV piggybacking off of Smallville which never goes unmentioned ever . I feel like the legacy is that we've produced a bunch of content people dig and it's not going to last forever and glad we were the first .
The actors sat down at NYCC to chat about taking their roles in The Walking Dead
"Andrew Lincoln: Afterwards so it is absolutely a character an exercise in character development. Just apply Rick to have time to play someone who is so flawed so human so so honorable driven by on real intentions is but actually over time gets changed relatively. You know it's it's that's the kinda dream really. It's like nothing I've ever read before and that's that was one of the great excellence for me. It's very exciting man. It's very exciting."
Washington Post Lead Film Critic and author talks about her impressions of Joker.
"I didn't think it was phenomenal. I thought it was very very good. But if there's no doubt that it's well executed and I think you're absolutely right that it's a fascinating strategy on DC's part and more warner brothers parts just sort of zag a little bit. You know and Todd Phillips I mean we know him I think of him as the Hangover guy. You know bro-comedies. and kind of low ball humor but this one is incredibly gritty it very much taken its its inspiration from the New York movies of the nineteen seventies and early eighties. So it's very gritty grimy. There's no doubt that Phoenix's performance is just you know one for the ages."
Actor talks about her role in the new alternate history series, For All Mankind about the space race.
"It truly takes both of them In order for him to do his job.You know I think it's so interesting because it's easy to say well she's an astronaut white and we just assume we know and understand from previous stories told but really we go much deeper into the exploration. The wife has to mow the lawn and raise the kid and has to create a stable environment for the husband and astronaut to come home."
The actors talk how they fit in to the new M Night Shyamalan series, Servant on Apple TV Plus
Grint: "I'm upset mysterious for presence that comes into the house. I think you spend the majority of the season wondering who she is (The Nanny) or what. She is why she's dad and yet on whether she's good or bad this question also also people whether they're good or bad. "
Free: "It's going to definitely change the dynamics no matter who they are so I think that it happens to be this car except probably changes. The dynamics a little more drastically than if it was someone normal. I think that everything that you might entire for a supernatural through in the show it also has a logical explanation so it's like the people that are coming from if you're if you're more spiritual or more than that it it can sort of see it and you can decipher it."
She voices Wonder Woman
"I mean it's interesting because it's been several years right of voicing this character and then since then now the films of come out the live action films with Gal and it's just taking it to a whole other level and in general I think comic book filming and ends sort of representation that's been expressed in them has really just taken it up a notch. Grateful for me to be a part of that whole journey for in in so many different ways I worked with Frank Miller on Sin City. He's a big reason with the Dark Knight Series As to why we started really looking at Batman and a completely different way the psychological makeup."
She talks sword training and what is in Michone's head from 2013.
"I had only on the broad sword in Grad school and so it was a whole new thing. I mean they're completely different pieces of instrument weaponry and you know it was very very intense. It was very very cool in the beginning. You know they're actually becomes a really interesting bond you developed with it . How such a perfect weapon for my show in the world that she's in. You feel that bond myself with the with the weapon."
