Logie Mac is back! Soon to be PGA Tour member Logan McAllister joins JT, Scooter and JHopp to preview the NCAA Men's Golf Championship at Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale. After briefly touching on the NCAA Women's Championship (in progress as of recording), we turn our attention to now 5-time MAJOR champion Brook's Koepka's win in the PGA Championship at Oak Hill. It's bracket season people, and the YSO podcast is ready as the guys make their "Cinderella" picks (sort of, Scott), final foursomes and so much more on this action-packed episode! Scott(ie) Scheffler was the "last man standing" and won his 2nd PGA tour event of the young season (and ever), while some major stalwarts faded hard on the final day and were left battered and bruised by Mr. Palmer's event! Coach Robertson reflects back on the Cowgirls National Runner Up finish from last May and then dives deep into the fall season, highlighted by three straight team wins. Another "bonus" pod here people!!! We were fortunate enough to sit down with Coach Ryan Hybl at the OU Golf facilities earlier this week to preview the fall 2021 golf season, Coach's expectations for this upcoming season, and get an update on the squad! Coach was gracious enough to share a full hour of his time and we addressed all sorts of topics, ranging from his summer golf outings, OU's move to the SEC, and how the new NIL rule changes are impacting college golf. It was 50/50, but the guys decided to return home from their trip to Bandon Dunes so despite it being a day later than normal, they're back in the studio! The Oklahoman's Cameron Jourdan joins us to talk a little Oklahoma high school golf, as the girls state championships just wrapped up and the boys championships will take place on May 10th & 11th! Cameron provides us some real insight into the top individual high school golfers in our state, plus who the "teams to beat" will be for the boys' championships next week! He also talks about some of the wild/crazy stuff he's scene at some of the high school golf tourneys he's covered over the past couple of years, plus he plays a round of the "Short Par 4" with the guys! SPIETH gets the breakthrough win we were all rooting for, Lydia Ko was on "59-watch" and ultimately falls just short to Patty T. in the ANA Inspiration, while 17-year old Tsubasa Kajitani wins the ANWA in dramatic playoff fashion! And this just in: the OSU and OU golf programs are pretty good! Another team win for the Cowboys at the Haskins while the Sooners sleep on a lead in the Calusa Cup! And perhaps the biggest golf story of the weekend: J-Teal and I's visit to Prairie Dunes in Hutchinson, Kansas and my goodness, what a "golf mecca" that place truly is! All that, and just a slight "tease" of the Masters on this week's YSO podcast!!
