Welcome the “On Your Marks Podcast" with @MattWoodyWood from GWActive.com.

This is the podcast where we chat to the founders, leaders and innovators behind the brands that inspire you to get on your starting blocks.

The world of sport is competitive by nature, and the business that underpins it, often has an interesting story behind it and with this podcast we aim to gain an insight into those that drive it forward.

On this episode of the 'On Your Marks' podcast I chat to Mari Thomas founder of MAAREE.

As soon Mari left Loughborough University she started testing sports bra performance under lab conditions for some of the top sports brands in the world.

As a keen sportswoman she constantly felt that her perfect sports bra still didn’t exist. So after she was made redundant in 2017 she decided it was the perfect time to make her own.

This podcast is an interesting one for anyone interested in turning something they notice that doesn’t quite work right into into a business. Mari’s story is engaging and it was great to hear about her brand and how she plans to grow it.
