We are all sinners struggling to be free as winners. Thus, after speaking with friends, family and at times random people I meet during my day-to-day activities I bring a song maybe three with me to share with you. Everyone has a story to tell, sometimes a song tells it best. We will reflect and through the song connect! Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sparerare/support

First Thank You, God.
Know I do not own the rights to the music unless I state I (RareRubyC or Ruby C) produced or wrote it, such as Ruby by Ruby C., Been There Done That (BTDT), Sorrow, I Don't Fear You.
Hey you guys, I just wanted to give a quick shout out to MayLynn who I met over there at QuikTrip this evening. You are amazing! Thank you for helping me out, you didn't have to yet you have a wonderful heart. There are very few people left in this world that are just like you, very young with a good heart, been through so much, working a lot of jobs, still trying to help people when you're adopting three kids for the family. Let me just say, I was just like you at a very young age.
Reach out to me, I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure you get that job, that you get all the assistance you need to make sure that you are helping those kids and that you are training them, raising them in the right way that they should go. I hope that they are raised with your heart and with your character, with your morals, with your strength, with your patience and with your wisdom.
Patience, Strength, and Wisdom. Those are the main three things that I usually pray to God for and that my son has. Because you need patience to get through any situation, that devil will keep poking you. You need strength to get through everything because pain, fear, anxiety, panic, even love. You need it to get out that bed, to just make one more step, to just not say a word to just not make a move, to not hit someone, you just need strength to just be calm. You need wisdom to know when to go to God, to know when to shut up, to know when to speak your mind, to know when to be you, to know when to be fake, and to know when to let the people who are being fake gossip and let them do it. Just isolate and be yourself.
Again, it may be strange to pray for those three things every day, but please do, because the more you ask for three things, the stronger you are, the more patience you have with other people, and the wiser you become. It may not be the knowledge you gain for economics in the world, national, but it will be the wisdom that you gain, trust me, for dealing with human beings. humans are the most ignorant beings in the world, we really are. We're also the most hypocritical beings in the world.
I just want to say, what you're doing is amazing, keep doing it, please!
This is a thank you to a beautiful soul here in Northeast San Antonio.

First I'd like to say Thank You God for the Guilty Verdict as it was clear the hatred/supremacy caused the death of Mr. Floyd and many others in our country. I look forward to the true change in the inhumane treatment of all humans across our country because of supremacy ideals it is common sense for equality. Second, Mother's Day I pray was great for all of you! I got to have a full week with my Baby Boy since being back from Minnesota thus I was truly blessed. I will say I learned so much more in the 1 1/2 week I was there than I have in the last two years regarding my health and so much do and don'ts. Third, the VERZUZ Battle had me the last two times but the Isleys - I am not falling for love right now thus I'm gonna speak on the girls.
We still need prayers for my son, my mother as we continue to heal, thank you all.

This episode is a bit deep as it reflects on Palm Sunday and the meaning of what Christ gave for us all - not for some - for everyone all sinners.
The episode is also a bit personal as there are tons that sacrifice daily with great determination unaware of their true fate because of their faith and the goals that motivate them.
GOD, thank you for all, thank you for sacrificing your son to give us a home to return to after leaving the struggles of earth. My opinion is that you reflect on the week that Christ (Holy Week) knowingly prophesized, saved the sick, resurrected the dead, and still gave his life to those that believed and the non-believers. The story of Jesus as so many stories in the bible shows us exactly why it says to treat others the way you want to be treated (Matthew 7:12) and it also shows you just how cold the human soul can go. How his death began with human persecution for being different than what was already in place.
I will also give a reference to George Floyd and the Derek Chauvin case (9:29), as how can I not when you see similar examples of how Christ our Redeemer was treated every day.
Prayers are still requested for my son, my mother, and me as we continue to heal, thank you all.

First, apologies for the late release, and know this episode may be a bit long. This week marks round four as my mom heals from C-19. GOD. Prayers were also requested for my son and I as well this past week, thank you all.
Why did you choose the songs?
Yes, I am aware Stevie is referring to the birth of Aisha, however, sometimes there are stewards of the community or the church, grandparents, family, even the births of our sons where we may feel that same joy of new birth or acceptance, maybe approval. Speaking to this person...is the emotion you’d feel when you see that person you would be ashamed to tell you’ve sinned but tears are just flowing because they have always been your comfort. I talk about my “hood” upbringing a lot. Don’t get me wrong yes I had my choir director from the church as my elementary school principal but I also witnessed so many drug deals, deaths, I said that hell nah my son doesn’t need to fight it. She and several others used to help my Grandma get us to church, to school events, church competitions, etc. even when she passed we were scattered all across town, they still tried their best to keep us together. When I came back here I went back to her because I needed the connection but also because I knew I may not make it through without losing myself. I saw her name on my phone a few days back, I cried because no matter the amount of good I do I will always feel guilt because I have yet to personally hear from God that my heart is in the right direction.I didn’t have the strength to speak on! I was in tears receiving the call I couldn’t make. Not that there’s beef it’s more to do so with I have disappointed them. One more mentor, grandma that was of no relation by human DNA that loved me and helped me when I was a child. My childhood was NOT easy, not many are. They had their own children, their own lives. Trust, I have tons of people that question why am I a daughter, a sister, but not them, never her. Also, the death of my cousin Ieshia C. has always stung.
Thanks to A Turtle's Tale for putting Bruno's song in my ear. God put the others!!

This week marks round three as my mom heals from C-19. She has good oxygen numbers and I thank all prayers and well wishes and of course GOD. Prayers are requested and are being received 24/7. - A repeat I am aware, however, my emotions behind the words are very deep, and have so much gratitude! #Texaswinterstorm2021 #TexasBlackout #Texaspoweroutage were the trending hashtags this past week. Even I was without power for 3 days posting on Twitter, running faucets, trying to fight sinus/ear infection pain, COVID test results were delayed a week so I spent $410 today to get a !negative! result, antibiotics, and joy!

Jesus Loves Me:
Jesus loves me, this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to him belong
They are weak but he is strong
Yes, Jesus loves me
Oh, yes Jesus loves me (loves me so)
Yes, Jesus loves me
For the Bible tells me so (tells me so), so glad
Pressing on the upward way
Always guide me, Lord, I pray
Undeserving, and stubbornly
Never fail to love me still
(Feels so good to know)
Ooh, that I'm never alone
See, sometimes I'm lonely but never alone, no
For the Bible tells, for the Bible tells
For the Bible, oh Lord, it tells me so (tells me so), so glad (tells me so)
See I know that he loves me, yeah (tells me so)
Whether I'm right, mm (tells me so)
And whether I'm wrong, oh yes, he did (tells me so)
Oh the Bible tells me, me (tells me so)
Jesus loves me

Why did you choose the songs?
This week marks round two as my mom heals from C-19. She has good oxygen numbers and I thank all prayers and well wishes and of course GOD. Prayers are requested and are being received 24/7. Cold weather turns me into a bear or better yet since I am a Cancer (Astrology) crab. Thus, I smoked three types of meat, wash all bedding and warm clothing, try to execute as many tasks as possible, and make as many excuses to stay in and off the roads. NOT LAZY just not in the rain, sleet, ice, snow, etc. I have four reasons why.
Now, who doesn't love the classic, Baby, It's Cold Outside?
Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Snow is more about drugs than the weather but I love the band.
What mood were you in before/after the song? Lit after video chatting with Jr., eating, and watching Reno 911.

Cold:
I really can't stay
Baby don't hold on
Ah, but it's cold outside
Well I must say
This couch is very comfortable
It's not a couch, puddin' pop
It's a love seat
Oh, how you talk?
Oh Barry, I simply must go
But baby it's cold outside
The answer is, "No"
But baby it's cold outside
The welcome has been
How lucky that you dropped in
So nice and warm
Look out the window
At that storm
My sister will be suspicious
Gosh your lips look good delicious
My brother will be there at the door
Like waves upon a tropical storm
My maiden aunt's mind is vicious
Gosh your lips are delicious
Well maybe just a cigarette more
Never said your blues will be for
I've got to get home
But baby you'll freeze out there
Honestly, just listening to Cold Sweat is a mover for me.
Snow (Hey Oh):
Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it's so white as snow
Privately divided by a world so undecided
And there's nowhere to go
In between the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it's so white as snow
Running through the field where all my tracks will be concealed
And there's nowhere to go
I said hey, hey, yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, tell my love now
Hey, hey, yeah, oh yeah, tell my love now

Why did you choose the songs?
This week my mother received the vaccine (1st dose) and about five days later she was coughing blood and rushed to the ER triage. Needless to say, it is C-19. Prayers are requested and are being received 24/7.
Missy's Cool Off has the beat and the lyrics to keep me focused and motivated regardless of the stairs, cold weather, heavy whatever, Do It and Cool Off when I get angry.
Linkin's Numb is what I have been stating since I was a teenager since they were my band during adolescence. Stop putting me down because you can't be me, I don't have a fear of being dependable, per my childhood PTSD dependability=security=love. Hell, I love and care for my child (as a mother), manage my income/debt sources, my health treatments, my mother's health, etc, and did it for another household with min help for two years and subpar for three.
Billie's PFH, says a ton it really does. There is so much falling upon us each day, be strong the blessings fall.
What mood were you in before/after the song? Upbeat after watching IASIP.

Do it, do it, do it, do it
Do it, do it, do it, do it
Do it, do it, do it, do it
Cool off
Cool off, cool off, cool off
Cool off, cool off, cool off
Cool off, cool off, cool off (Stop)
Play this again, I'm finna win
Finna go off, finna go in
I'll make it drop, yeah, I'll make it bend
Cool off 'til I feel the wind
Four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
Way too high to get over me
Way too low to get under my skin
All the DJ's gon' hit that spin
I'ma play this again and again and again (Stop)
Numb:
I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface
Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
(Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)
I've become so numb
I can't feel you there
Become so tired
So much more aware
I'm becoming this
All I want to do
Is be more like me
And be less like you
Pennies From Heaven:
If you want the things you love
You must have showers
So when you hear it thunder
Don't run under a tree
There'll be pennies from heaven
For you and me
Nobody knows how cruel fate can be
How close together love and hate can be
Goodbye, just clean the slate for me
That's life I guess

Why did you choose the songs?
I happened to be speaking with my cousins (@TootChainz and @KingTonyoTX on IG) about some of the projects Tonyo was building in his catalogue, I then brought up the east coast Rappers. Tupac, Common, Wu-Tang, etc., then we got into the type of voice, Rakim, Jaheim (R&B, I know) then we got into good R & B.

Honestly? Been being blessed, paying bills, lupus and epilepsy aren't winning, despite a coup we still have a Nation, and I still get to wake up and be a Mom. I just wanted to share some of the songs I've been boppin' my head to.

BTS:
[Verse 1: Jimin, Jungkook]
I’m opening my eyes in the darkness
When my heartbeat sounds unfamiliar
I’m looking at you in the mirror
The fear-ridden eyes, asking the question
[Verse 2: Suga]
Loving myself might be harder
Than loving someone else
Let’s admit it
The standards I made are more strict for myself
The thick tree rings in your life
It’s part of you, it’s you
Now let’s forgive ourselves
[Chorus: Jin, Jungkook]
You’ve shown me I have reasons
I should love myself (oh)
I’ll answer with my breath, my path
Niko:
Eighty degrees and the sun ain't even out
We got a spot a couple miles out of town
When that moon comes up, you know what's goin' down
We got them folding chairs leanin' way back
No other plans other than relax
We ain't worried about tomorrow from where we at
We just tryna catch a good time
Even if it takes all night
Pass that bottle 'round the campfire
KMS:
Strumming my pain with his fingers
Singing my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Killing me softly with his song
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Betty:
Tonight is the night
That you make me a woman
You said you'll be gentle with me
I hope you will
Tonight, tonight
Tonight, tonight
Oh, I'll never forget tonight
No, no, I'll never forget tonight

Why did you choose the song?
With the events at the capitol and my own life's events, I can't forget that I am not different than you going through similar issues.
What mood were you in before/after the song?
Disappointed in myself for the late pushout and happy that I was overcoming my struggles despite still having many.
Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long?
I am not silent on this episode as you will notice in the intro (loud) and in some of the recordings I am forgetting not to sing-a-long.

Holy G:
It was early one morning
Just about the break of day
When Jesus came & he touched me
And then he washed my tears away
I started running, I started shouting
There was no room for doubting
Oh I (Choir) I got nothing but the Holy Ghost
Andra:
You're broken down and tired
Of living life on a merry go round
And you can't find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out
And move mountains
We gonna walk it out
And move mountains
And I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again
And I'll rise up
High like the waves
I'll rise up
In spite of the ache
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again
WSO:
We'll walk hand in hand, someday
Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome, someday
We shall live in peace
We shall live in peace
We shall live in peace, someday
Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome, someday
We are not afraid
We are not afraid
We are not afraid, today

Here's Macklemore's White Privilege II Pulled into the parking lot, parked it Zipped up my parka, joined the procession of marchers In my head like, "is this awkward? Should I even be here marching?" Thinking if they can't, how can I breathe? Thinking that they chant, what do I sing? I want to take a stance 'cause we are not free And then I thought about it, we are not "we" Am I in the outside looking in, or am I in the inside looking out? Is it my place to give my two cents? Or should I stand on the side and shut my mouth? "No justice, no peace, " okay, I'm saying that They're chanting out, "black lives matter, " but I don't say it back Is it okay for me to say? I don't know, so I watch and stand In front of a line of police that look the same as me Only separated by a badge, a baton, a can of Mace, a mask A shield, a gun with gloves and hands that gives an alibi In case somebody dies behind a bullet that flies out of the nine Takes another child's life on sight Blood in the streets, no justice, no peace No racist beliefs, no rest 'til we're free There's blood in the streets, no justice, no peace No racist beliefs, no rest 'til we're free Damn, a lot of opinions, a lot of confusion, a lot of resentment Some of us scared, some of us defensive And most of us aren't even paying attention It seems like we're more concerned with being called racist Then we actually are with racism We want to dress like, walk like, talk like, dance like, yet we just stand by We take all we want from black culture, but will we show up for black lives? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_Zn7Cqe6ZM&ab_channel=LennyWilliams-Topic - Cause I Love You by Lenny Williams
Why did you choose the song?
I chose Superwoman by Karyn White first because well because couples have days, weeks, months, sometimes years where they take each other for granted.
I chose Lenny's Cause I love you... I will always consider this healing.
What mood were you in before/after the song?
The lyrics of Superwoman speak from the heart.

Superwoman:
I fought my way through the rush hour
Trying to make it home just for you
I want to make sure that your dinner will be waiting for you
But when you get there you just tell me
You're not hungry at all
You said you'd rather read the paper
And you don't want to talk
You'd like to think I'm just crazy
When I say that you've changed
I'm convinced I know the problem
You don't love me the same
You're just going through the motions
And you're not being fair
I've got my pride
I will not cry
Still I can't help but care
Ooh baby, look into the corners of your mind
I'll always be there for you
Through good and bad times
But I can't be that Superwoman that you want me to be
I'll give my love, oh lasting love
If you'll return love to me
I'm not your Superwoman
I'm not the kind of girl that you can let down
And think that everything's okay
Boy, I am only human
This girl needs more than occasional hugs
As a token of love from you to me
Cause I Love You:
you know I love you
No matter what you do
And I hope you understand me
Every word I say is true
?Cause I love you
Baby, I?m thinkin? of you
Tryin? to be more of a man for you
And I don?t have much riches
But we gonna see it through
?Cause I love you

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccHrgxsO9z0&ab_channel=B.B.King-Topic - Why I Sing The Blues by B.B. King
Why did you choose the song? Inspired by listening to the old school music, tire of fake people, lovin the advice I'm getting. Plus realized why I take things personally no one truly knows me. hence why my raps get a little deep. But if you were a jerk don't belittle the transaction, I'll forgive the request for forgiveness but do not ask me to not see you. I can be a bitch as well call me out get it done with.
What mood were you in before/after the song? Did not feel like driving and just once again felt misunderstood or like well my truths would never be told to my son nor anyone really because no one listens. thus brought me back to these classics.
Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long? Sorry, but you will not have to put up with me on this one.

I usually sing when I am happy or confident. What mood were you in before/after the song? Trying to get back to the recording but I've been documenting my podcast ideas, writing-not typing my lyrics (makes recording sooo much easier), but I have not been recording nor hunting down new beats. Nor have I been motivated to make my own. I honestly just feel compelled to write. I even wanted to go back to writing my book I didn't finish 4 years ago. And When I do want to sing I really just want to record my original acapella just to make sure it is just recorded. Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long? Been in love so bad You'd do anything to make them understand? Have you ever had someone steal your heart away? You'd give anything to make them feel the same? Have you finally found the one you've given your heart to Only to find that one won't give their heart to you? What mood were you in before/after the song?
Feeling a bit stung. long story short a friend of mine posted a comment about losing the glue in the family, You know the Grandmother and maybe the Aunt or Uncle that always cooked or said I got you. Mine... I wish was here for a hug and I knew in 2008 I had to be that Daughter, Sister, and Aunt.
When the women that raised all the kids died I felt lost, didn't know what building, bed to call home, I understood their bloodlines saying goodbye and a new struggle and new identification beginning. my cousins are still my cousins.
Now, I'm trying to choose me to make my house a home, people accuse me overdoing it, lol what choice do I truly have? I cannot borrow excess money from friends and family. One, I feel we're in similar boats. Two, I will always feel guilty if I impact your flow unable to pay you - trust I saw the karma to my mother, three, I am honestly used pushing till God stops me, thus if I already owe you money I feel that I can not ask you for more. So yes, school is a must, working is a must, choosing my brain over my pain is a must. My productivity is the only Stimulus Package I can trust.

With arms wide open
With arms wide open
Well I don't know if I'm ready
To be the man I have to be
I'll take a breath, I'll take her by my side
We stand in awe, we've created life
If I had just one wish
Only one demand
I hope he's not like me
I hope he understands
That he can take this life
And hold it by the hand
And he can greet the world
With arms wide open
Luther:A chair is still a chair, even when there's no one sittin' there
But a chair is not a house and a house is not a home
A room is a still a room, even when there's nothin' there but gloom
But a room is not a house and a house is not a home
When the two of us are far apart
And one of us has a broken heart
Now and then I call your name
And suddenly your face appears
But it's just a crazy game
When it ends, it ends in tears

And I'm still more amused by prank phone calls
What the hell is call ID?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?
And that's about the time she walked away from me
Nobody likes you when you're twenty-three
And you still act like you're in freshman year
What the hell is wrong with me?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?
That's about the time she broke up with me
No one should take themselves so seriously
With many years ahead to fall inline
Why would you wish that on me?
I never want to act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?
What's my age again?
SOKO:

I refuse to transform
I have peter pan syndrome
I have peter pan syndrome
I refuse to make enemies
I refuse to be teased

You know what’s going on in the current news.
An African-American (black) unarmed man shot 7 times in the back while walking away with nothing absolutely nothing in his hands and his children watched.
How many times have you heard the terms black before describing the details? Already trying in some way to diminish the value of the person’s life?
I will say this is finally the generation we get to see them..... we hear them... they are no longer hidden.
I guess this is also why most groups don’t like me because I speak my mind.
Right now, I must say that I am truly tired of being referred to as a COLOR.
Before it was colored before it was nig***, coon, dirt, cotton picker, milk cow, etc. pretty much imagine the lowest name you could give a person who had no choice. I mean anyone with African-American descent has been called it. Not always to their face but always in history, CHATTEL/SLAVE.
I understand in 1865 Caucasians controlling America knew African-Americans overpopulated the states, their doing, not ours, it’s called supply chain and the use of machine over humans, but you still were supposed to be children of God thus treating others the way you wished to be treated, seeing that we were also people of God that to mark us as slaves was to thus be marking yourselves not a child of God? and yet here we are now allowing killing based on color (black) again over recognizing that regardless of the shade you shouldn't want to see life fade?
All you wanted was power, control, to be Cain. Quit trying to stop equality. please.
It’s a cycle,
Politics is an illusion that is about money. Yes, I vote! I vote for the actual person with the character shown that I respect not the party. I wish it was an actual council of equal power so that one ethnicity could never outrank another. One built to actually speak on experience.
How do you think Trump became president? Going from one party to another over race (black vs white). There are so many issues to solve. Please listen. Please go back and read it! Your ancestors put so much in place that it is amazing you are still ignoring it today. Please Change.

Why did you choose the song?
Well, I had grown tired of watching Paw Patrol with my three-year-old son so I thought if I could just trick him into something new...and it worked! He was already into Scooby!

I was feeling like an " I'm a non-Barbie girl in a very typical Barbie corporate world" mood and needed a pick me up to get away from the evil.

Daniel:
Where is the moment we needed the most?
You kick up the leaves, and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue sky's faded to gray
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carrying on
You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces every time
And I don't need no carrying on
Sometimes the system goes on the blink
And the whole thing, it turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well, oh, that strong
And I'm not wrong (yeah, yeah, yeah)
So where is the passion when you need it the most?
Oh, you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
'Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me, "don't lie"
You work at a smile, and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down, and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day
Brighter Day:
Once you've experienced that bad day you testify or exclaim this:
When I close my eyes and think of you
And reminisce on all the things you do
I can't imagine my life without you
It's like paradise now I know that it's real (um)
It's a mystery for someone to give their life just for me
What you did on calvary
Makes me wanna love you more
I never knew I could be so happy
And I never knew I'd be so secure because of your love
Life has brand new meaning
It's gonna be a brighter day, brighter day
Never thought that I would smile again
I never thought the dark clouds would end
Never thought the dark clouds would end
Never thought that I could have a friend
That would keep me never leave me alone (um)
Jesus, you're my everything
The only one that makes my heart sing (heart sing)
Now I know what real love means
It's everlasting, lasting.

Why did you choose the song?
I was just watching The Matrix, so needless to say I was in a tired of the way the world works mood! Plus I needed to hear some motivational songs from a different genre today!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcq_mlS1DAU - It's My Life by Bon Jovi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a01QQZyl-_I - Under Pressure by Queen & David Bowie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04F4xlWSFh0 - Bodies by Drowning Pool
What mood were you in before/after the song?
After listening to all of the songs I am now motivated to further unpack and fold some more clothes lol snd stop worrying!
Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long?
Today I am exhausted!
Please specify the lyrics that motivated you:
Bon Jovi:
This ain't a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for the faith-departed
I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud
This is for the ones who stood their ground
It's for Tommy and Gina who never backed down
Tomorrow's getting harder, make no mistake
Luck ain't enough
You've got to make your own breaks
It's my life
And it's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I'm alive
It's my life
You better stand tall when they're calling you out
Don't bend, don't break, baby, don't back down
Q & D:
Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you, no man ask for
Under pressure that burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
It's the terror of knowing what the world is about
Watching some good friends screaming
"Let me out!"
Pray tomorrow gets me higher
Pressure on people, people on streets
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love, give love, give love, give love
Give love, give love, give love, give love, give love?
'Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And love (people on streets) dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure
Drowning Pool:
Beaten why for (why for)
Can't take much more
(Here we go, here we go, here we go)
Push me again (again)
This is the end
(Here we go, here we go, here we go)
Skin against skin, blood and bone
You're all by yourself but you're not alone
You wanted in now you're here
Driven by hate consumed by fear
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me
One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give now

Why did you choose the song?
Respect for one another is one of the main reasons for The Ten Commandments. You know treat others the way you would like to be treated. At least that’s why I’ve always extended the ruling of "turn the other cheek" to 6 cheeks then I won’t go to hell for you. A bit deep I know but that’s why most don’t like me.

What mood were you in before/after the song?
I realized after scrolling on Facebook and commenting on a friend’s posting that I really meant what I said. I do not want a funeral. I told her if it couldn’t be said or written while I was still alive to read it or hear it so we could move on and build together then that attendee didn’t care about me. They can speak to me through God, forgiveness is automatic per my death.
I just want my letters and ashes given to those I wrote to. Because I don’t want my story told incorrectly.

Oh, when I go to my brother
I'd say brother, help me, please
But he winds up knockin' me
Back down on my knees
There been times that I thought I wouldn't last for long
Now I think I'm able to carry on
It's been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change's gonna come, oh, yes, it will
Aretha:
I ain't gonna do you wrong while you're gone
Ain't gonna do you wrong 'cause I don't wanna
All I'm askin'
Is for a little respect when you come home (just a little bit)
Baby (just a little bit) when you get home (just a little bit)
Yeah (just a little bit)
I'm about to give you all of my money
And all I'm askin' in return, honey
Is to give me my propers
When you get home (just a, just a, just a, just a)
Yeah, baby (just a, just a, just a, just a)
When you get home (just a little bit)
Yeah (just a little bit)

Been siging this song since it played on local 1480AM and I was living off Sterling with my grandparents. I love the entire song but this is truly why I am still here.

Why did you choose the song?
The lyrics to Travelin' Soldier have always stung me because I was in Washington State when I saw the News report about my first love, Juan's death. So I deeply understood.
Misty Blue was introduced to me by my Godmother Georgia Mae Allen, she also got Ruby Andrews in my ear. I understood what Dorothy was saying even at the age of 8 but I always have and always will take it from a family and bloodline context, not from that of a relationship.

And one name read and nobody really cared
But a pretty little girl with a bow in her hair

What mood were you in before/after the song?
To be honest back in the day between the age of 13 and 24 I fell in love with the Country Boys way more. They always saved me from the dark, listened to my heart, and when I sang they cried, seriously. During my childhood, I had been pulled in so many ways by the devil. Bullied, even had to fight and almost kill more boys from my hood and my skin tone and ethnicity over street life and no direction. So yeah I was afraid. My best friends were people who could skateboard, shoot a gun, box, play the guitar, yet still read the Bible, and still kill Bambi when I couldn't. Plus people thought I was better than them because when I was 4 and 5 I had to take ESL I & II classes. Came up this week because we believe my son will also. Yes, I spoke English but I could not articulate the item correctly because I would have an accent of either French or Spanish. Thus I was a Latin AP 4.0 and Spanish Spelling Bee Competitor locally for many years lol but I also speak English very well. I just cried over my son because he's gonna be labeled so many things in this country too. Hence I prayed, laughed, and said I wanted to here a strong country woman tell some of my story.

Bring On The Rain:
Another day has almost come and gone
Can't imagine what else could go wrong
Sometimes I'd like to hide away somewhere and lock the door
A single battle lost but not the war
It's almost like the hard times circle 'round
A couple drops and they all start coming down
Yeah, I might feel defeated,
And I might hang my head
I might be barely breathing, but I'm not dead
Tomorrow's another day
And I'm thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain
No I'm not gonna let it get me down
I'm not gonna cry
And I'm not gonna lose any sleep tonight
'Cause tomorrow's another day
And I'm not afraid
So bring on the rain
Tomorrow's another day
And I'm thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain
Melodies from Heaven:
Melodies from Heaven
Rain down on me
Rain down on me
Take me in Your arms and hold me close
Rain down on me
Rain down on me
Fill me with Your precious Holy Ghost
Rain down on me
Rain down on me

Poor me, pour me another drink
'Cause I don't wanna feel a thing
No more, hell nah
I just wanna sip 'til the pain wears off
Poor me, pour me another round
Line 'em up and knock 'em down
Two more, let's go
'Cause I ain't ever hurt like this before
Don't wanna think about her
Or wear a ring without her
Don't wanna hit the karaoke bar
Can't sing without her
So make them drinks strong
'Cause, brother, she's gone
And if I'm ever gonna move on
I'ma need some whiskey glasses
'Cause I don't wanna see the truth
She's probably making out on the couch right now
With someone new
Yeah, I'ma need some whiskey glasses
If I'm gonna make it through
If I'ma be single
I'ma need a double shot of that heartbreak proof
And see the world through whiskey glasses
(Ain't nothing else to do, but sip around the truth)
And see the world through whiskey glasses
(I need a better view, where I don't drink to you)
Last call
I swear this will be my last call
Now I ain't drunk dialing no more at 3 AM
Mr. Bartender, hit me again
Don't wanna think about her
Or wear a ring without her
Don't wanna hit the karaoke bar
Can't sing without her
So make them drinks strong
'Cause, brother, she's gone
And if I'm ever gonna move on

Oh, see the world through whiskey glasses, yeah
(I need a better view, where I don't drink to you)
Line 'em up
Line 'em up
Line 'em up
Line 'em up
Knock 'em back
Knock 'em back
Knock 'em back
Knock 'em back
Fill 'em up
Fill 'em up
Fill 'em up
Fill 'em up
'Cause if she ain't ever coming back
Line 'em up
Line 'em up
Line 'em up
Line 'em up
Knock 'em back
Knock 'em back
Knock 'em back
Knock 'em back
Fill 'em up
Fill 'em up
Fill 'em up
Fill 'em up
'Cause if she ain't ever coming back
I'ma need some whiskey glasses
'Cause I don't wanna see the truth
She's probably making out on the couch right now
With someone new
Yeah, I'ma need some whiskey glasses
If I'm gonna make it through
If I'ma be single
I'ma need a double shot of that heartbreak proof
And see the world through whiskey glasses
(Ain't nothing else to do, but sip around the truth)
Oh, see the world through whiskey glasses, yeah
(I need a better view, where I don't drink to you)
And see the world through whiskey glasses, yeah
(I need a better view, where I don't drink to you)

Why did you choose the song?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1plPyJdXKIY&list=PLn4xUhYSAevCXi5kGb1TAdvMOHFg7HvvO
Because I have been going through some really really rough times and went to see a few friends to help me get a family member through a rough time because they weren't listening to me. Plus when your health problems outshine you, you feel like there's a gat on you.
What mood were you in before/after the song?
Honestly, I'd been listening to B.B. King, Shirley Brown, and Morgan Wallen and wishin' I could drink some liquor.
Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long?
Gonna try not to but I love this one!
Please specify the lyrics that motivate you.
G:
Regulators
We regulate any stealing of his property
We're damn good too
But you can't be any geek off the street
Gotta be handy with the steel if you know what I mean. Earn your keep!
Regulators! Mount up!
G:
It was a clear black night, a clear white moon
Warren G was on the streets, trying to consume
Some skirts for the eve, so I can get some phones
Rolling in my ride, chilling all alone
N:
Just hit the east side of the LBC
On a mission trying to find Mr. Warren G
Seen a car full of girls ain't no need to tweak
All you skirts know what's up with 213
G:
So I hooks a left on 21 and Lewis
Some brothers shooting dice so I said "Let's do this"
I jumped out the ride, and said "What's up?"
Some brothers pulled some gats so I said "I'm stuck."
N:
Since these girls peeping me I'mma glide and swerve
These hookers looking so hard they straight hit the curb
Onto bigger better things than some horny tricks
I see my homey and some suckers all in his mix
G:
I'm getting jacked, I'm breaking myself
I can't believe they taking Warren's wealth
They took my rings, they took my Rolex
I looked at the brother said "Damn, what's next?"
N:
They got my homey hemmed up and they all around
Can't none of them see him if they going straight pound-for-pound
They wanna come up real quick before they start to clown
I best pull out my strap and lay them busters down
G:
They got guns to my head
I think I'm going down
I can't believe this happening in my own town
If I had wings I would fly
Let me contemplate
I glanced in the cut and I see my homey Nate
N:
Sixteen in the clip and one in the hole
Nate Dogg is about to make some bodies turn cold
Now they dropping and yelling
It's a tad bit late
Nate Dogg and Warren G had to regulate
I laid all them busters down
I let my gat explode
Now I'm switching my mind back into freak mode
If you want skirts sit back and observe
I just left a gang of hoes over there on the curb
G:
Now Nate got the freaks
And that's a known fact
Before I got jacked I was on the same track
Back up back up 'cause it's on
N A T E and me
The Warren to the G
N:
Just like I thought
They were in the same spot
In need of some desperate help
But Nate Dogg and the G-child
Were in need of something else
One of them dames was sexy as hell
I said "oh, I like your size."
She said "my car's broke down and you seem real nice
Would you let me ride?"
I got a car full of girls and it's going real swell
The next stop is the Eastside Motel
G:
I'm tweaking
Into a whole new era
G-Funk
Step to this
I dare you
Funk
On a whole new level......

What mood were you in before/after the song?
I was grooving then was gonna change the song lol
Why did you choose the song?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n4QUIjUJFk
I was driving my mom around and then she stopped playing on her phone and started singing and dancing. Don’t get me wrong my mom is thoroughbred built but she is my mama. I'm pretty protective.
Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long?
Of course, this song speaks to all ethnicities, emotions, and yes obviously generations!
Please specify the lyrics that motivate you.
Everybody move your body
Now do it
Here is something that's gonna make you move & groove
Hey D.J. keep playing that song, all night
On and on and on
Everybody move your body
Now do it
Here is something that's gonna make you move & grove
Hey D.J. keep playing that song, all night
On and on and on
It's Friday night and the weekend's here
I need to unwind, where's the party, Mr. D.J.
I am ready to call my friends
So we could all get down
Where's the party, hey Mr. D.J.
Hey Mr. D.J.
(You can get this started)
Everybody's ready to party
(All night, all night)
All the girls are ready
(So we can all get to it)
So we can party 'till the break of dawn, oh
Once again, it's on, yo Zahne blow the horn
Let the D.J. know to keep playing your song
Maybe I'll browse, snatch up the blouse
Rip the foul, ho
And get rub-a-dub style
'cause your body won't move
If it can't feel the groove
So can't boogie, have to show and prove
Hey, now I'm feeling the vibe
Rolling wit the flava
Feeling alright
Ho, yo, there's a party over here
Yo, oh no, the party's over there
Call up your friends, let 'em know
Fam's tagging along
Hey D.J. keep playing that song
Everybody move your body
Now do it

What mood were you in before/after the song?
I was actually in a happy/disappointed mood because they had the Phillipians 4:13 and Betty Boop Face Masks but none of them in Pink. I've been rocking all three proudly since 3 years old, even Ms. Piggy.
Why did you choose the song?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAsu1DhC15U
I had actually just had a conversation with Steve Calderon about how I get hated on about being an Ordained Minister and still cursing. We both agreed Ass and Damn are in the Bible and had a good laugh agreeing that sometimes church begins when two people are cursing their brains out. He is actually the one who told me about the song. So I pulled it up on iTunes and cranked it up in my car.
Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long?
Actually, I’ve only heard the song maybe 4-7 times. However, it’s a hip hop and very dominant beat so of course, I'm bangin' my head and yes it speaks my lyrics! So give me a few more plays lol!
Please specify the lyrics that motivate you.
[Verse 2: Trip Lee]
Off with my squad, full of zealots, you can't tell a thing (Huh)
Yelling "Yessuh," ain't no fetish for amphetamines (Yuh)
Ain't no day of expiration, this that evergreen (Woo)
Death is heading for us, but we yelling "Where the sting?"
Bump a song, but my soul never fall off (Fall off)
Call me Paul 'cause of Saul, it got sawed-off (Sawed-off)
All the glory I would haul, it got hauled off (Woo)
Second birthday, my death day was called off
Threw my pride in the red, count it all loss
Split the sea, so my path has been walled off
Ask me why I'm feeling bold: 'cause I've been delivered (Yeah)
I bow down to Him, who killed the killer
and of course, just listening to my past segments of Spare a Moment with Rare explains why this line by Aaron Cole speaks to my life as a Daughter,
[Verse 4: Aaron Cole]
Look, uh, can I reflect? Yeah
He brought my moms out the wreck, yeah
Brought my pops out the hood
Isn't he good? How can I forget this my calling
They been cappin', you can bank that, we been snappin'
Lord for me it's automatic, yeah, it's Jesus over status, ayy, yeah
Now me and my mom is good
Crazy I waited for this moment, bless, that's understood (Yeah)
Even if God didn't do it, homie, I knew He could (Yeah)
I'm steady winning over demons like I knew I would, oh
[Verse 5: Hulvey]
I gotta testify (Testify)
Yeah, I'm so free, gotta live for Him for the rest of my life (The rest of my life)

It reminded me of a high school memory between my family and my best friend.
Would you be willing to Karaoke or sing-a-long?
Um, I really don't know the lyrics like that but I can sing
What mood were you in before/after the song?
Hungry, eating pizza, and reflecting on my past drama.
Please specify the lyrics that motivate you.
Why you got me so obsessed with you? Why you got me wasting time laying next to you? Why do you tell me, "come over, " to watch you just stare at your phone? Don't know why I expected you To give me attention, affection and love You're like a drug, never enough Can't take you high, need a new plug You got me been, got me way too messed up And I don't know why I'm even still here Can't shake it off, I've been here for years on top of years And I, I'm ready to, I'm ready to, be off of you 'Cause I admit, that baby I, I just may be stuck on you
Why do I pick up my phone every time that you call? (Why do I feel this way?) Why do I feel this (feel this way?) I'm in my feelings (If this isn't love) Why do I let you give me half then give you my all? (Why do I feel this way?) Why do I do this (feel this way?) I'm in my feelings

Why did you choose the song?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iA6IZUW38U
Because I was given life, not quite taught how to fight through strife.
What mood were you in before/after the song?
I was nervous as this was only my second Podcast on my own and 4th ever!
Please specify the lyrics that motivate you.
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
You don't have to worry and don't you be afraid
Joy comes in the morning, troubles they don't last always
For there's a friend in Jesus, who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say:
"I know that T can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands
With Jesus, I can take it
With him, I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
So when the tests and trials, may seem to get you down
And all your friends and loved ones are nowhere to be found
Remember there's a friend in Jesus, who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken, just lift your hands and say
"I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands
With Jesus, I can take it
With him, I know I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands"
