Casey has since made it their mission to disrupt barriers to authenticity by founding The Expansive Group, a sex therapy practice serving over 1000 clients annually.

She has spent over a decade working with organizations – inside and outside of the Jewish world – to bring forth a more just, whole, and liberatory world. Joanna has worked as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consultant, Adaptive Leadership teacher and practitioner, community organizer, and popular educator at the intersections of identity, power, leadership, and social justice. Joanna is a queer femme of Sephardic, Ashkenazi, and non-Jewish European roots, from an interfaith family. Originally from San Diego, she now lives in Boston with her spouse Diana and their kiddo.

He hails from Akron, where they completed their Bachelor’s in Dance Performance and then performed professionally for two years. Since relocating to New York in 2016, she has worked with homeless LGBTQ youth as a volunteer and as a part of his graduate degree.
