Are cnas considered frontline workers? To me yes and no. Yes because we are in the healthcare Industry and we are caregivers. No are Not really capable of handling something so serious as this. Unfortunately as patient care givers we have physical contact with these patients and we are the first ones to become exposed to the virus. Now, when we become sick, we are really no good to our patients. We’re the ones that they really count on. some cant feed themselves, go to the bathroom on their own or clean themselves. So if this virus affects us what are they going to do. We can wear all the protective gear we want but the disease is bigger than us. What are your thoughts?
