A bit of a short one today as we ran into some technical problems about 12 minutes in. But I start off the show with a recap of what I was discussing so you aren't missing much.
We went into a fairly deep dive on the DEC/ETH Uniswap market, impermanent loss, market gains, and how being pegged to ETH may introduce some really unusual price dynamics. We also updated the numbers for the expected value of RAFFLE tokens (check the chart below) now that we know how many tokens there are for the drawing on Jan 26. Make sure your tokens are in your game wallet before the drawing. One thing I wanted to get into but didn't have time for was the new announcement about how banks are permitted to use stable coins. More on that coming in the next week.

It was a full show as always. The Splinterlands team dropped a new post on totems right when the show started, so we went through that live. Yaba was really laying out the potential of legendary totems to be used on Overflowing (the legendary version of lands) plots. I re-ran that numbers for expected value of raffle tickets based on the idea that a legendary totem would cost about as much as a gold-foil legendary card. We also discussed the DEC market, general crypto and $BTC prices, and even did a season rewards opening.

It was a great Monster Maverick show today, and I encourage everyone to join the live discord audience ( https://discord.gg/QBsa8fd ). We talked about the state of the crypto market, especially how DeFi is going to change so many things including how we trade inside Splinterlands. I briefly discuess YIELDBONDA, my new crypto bond that pays 15% interest. We also got into the raffle tickets that are being drawn in January. I went through some back of the envelope math with what the expected value of a ticket might be. There are a lot of unknowns in that calculation, but I feel like we got to a good approximation.
