Denise Wilson is an author, a missionary, and until recently a homeschool mom. She is the author of the book, Seven Words You Never Want To Hear and her new companion workbook, These resources have been born out of her deep desire to see people come to know and experience Christ as both Savior and Lord.
Celina Acevedo is 10 years old and comes from a big family of 6, She has an older sister, a younger sister, and a little brother and they are all homeschooled. They also have a huge dog named Charlie. Celina is an actress and plays the title role of Gracie in the faith-based film, Amazing Gracie. She is a competitive dancer; she trains in many different styles including jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, and improv. She is also an artist. Her favorite type of art is abstract art.
Patty Lambert is an incredibly talented actress. She is also a mother, sister, wife, daughter, and Arts Enthusiast! One recent film project that she worked on was the faith-based film, Amazing Gracie. Patty plays Sarah's mom and they had such a great time on set.
Through the years Sharon Wilharm has worn many hats – filmmaker, blogger, writer, ministry leader, speaker, and now podcast/radio host. The common thread of all the hats is women and storytelling. She loves to tell stories that inspire and encourage women in their walk with the Lord. Sharon's feature films have been screened in theaters, festivals, and churches around the world and have received over one hundred film accolades from both Christian and secular festivals. As host of All God's Women podcast and internationally syndicated radio show, Sharon brings to life the stories of women in the Bible. All God's Women airs daily on Moody Radio Network Faith Radio Network, as well as dozens of other local and online stations. Sharon's Bible Study Women of Prayer was released with Elk Lake Publishing. She's also a contributing author for Tyndale's Every Woman's Bible which will release in 2023.
Marti King Young is an award-winning screenwriter, filmmaker, and director. She has worked alongside showrunner Sheryl Anderson on the Netflix hit series, SWEET MAGNOLIAS and Albert T. Dickerson III on CLASS OF 09 (Hulu/FX) and GENIUS:ARETHA (NatGeo). She assisted James Wan, Dave Neustadter, and Victoria Palmieri on ANNABELLE COMES HOME and THE CONJURING 3. Marti has been featured in the German publication Cinewomen for her contributions to women in film and has won awards for her activism for the inclusion of those with disabilities and special needs in the film industry. She will be mentoring screenwriting this June at The Good Word Writers Retreat in Greece June 4-9, 2023.

His one-hour special: Happy Wife, Happy Life aired on the Odyssey Channel and Family Net. Jeff has been featured on America’s Got Talent, Netflix, Amazon, Dry Bar Comedy, Pureflix, Huckabee, Warner Bros., Bananas, Apostles of Comedy, Thou Shalt Laugh, and numerous other networks and shows. He’s been on the Grand Ole Opry, the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and the Montreal Just for Laughs International Comedy Festival – the world’s most prestigious comedy venues. Jeff Allen is regarded as one of the premier clean comedians working today. Most of his humor centers on marriage and living with teenagers.
Steve Holt serves as Director of the Church Services Group of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board in Franklin, Tennessee. Prior to coming to the TBMB staff, Steve served for over 17 years as a pastor in Northeast Tennessee. He is a graduate of Carson-Newman University and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Evangelism and Church Growth from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Steve is married to Donna Parton Holt and has three adult sons, two daughters-in-law, and three granddaughters.
Les Best is a US military veteran, and retired school teacher, who followed his passion and came out of retirement to become an actor. He has just recently wrapped the film, Eyes of A Roman. He is married and lives in Texas.
Morgan Gilley is an occupational therapist, personal wellness coach, and consultant for Cultivate Care. She has a clinical doctoral degree in occupational therapy and a bachelor of science in exercise science. She is a cancer survivor and for the last seven years, she has worked with cancer survivors. She is also a wife and mother of two. Through coaching, she empowers others to be their own wellness advocate.
Mark Sowersby is an ordained minister with the Assembly of God church for over 25 years and is currently the Pastor of Calvary Community Church in Dudley, MA. Mark is the founder of Forgiving the Nightmare ministry. He is a guest speaker as well. Pastor Mark holds a BA in theology from Zion Bible College/Northpoint Bible College.
Robin T. Jennings has been a clergyman in the Episcopal Church for over 40 years. He has decades of experience encouraging churches and parishioners to cast a vision — to develop their personal life plans — equipping them with the tools necessary to participate in the divine nature of Jesus Christ. He is the author of several Bible commentaries. As well he has authored three books on Spiritual Growth and Renewal.
Mark A. Taylor is the former Editor and Publisher of the Christian Standard magazine. He retired after 40 years with Standard Publishing. Mark has started a new ministry called Unchosen Journey, A Caregiver's Walk with Alzheimer's where he chronicles this new chapter in his and his wife, Evelyn's journey.
Raeanne Newquist has been a world traveler with Mercy Ships ministry. Raeanne, her husband, and 3 children joined Mercy Ships in 2019. After leaving everything behind in Southern California, they boarded the Africa Mercy in Las Palmas and made their first sail down to Dakar, Senegal for their first field service. Onboard, Raeanne volunteered in the communications department and later in chaplaincy, when not caring for her three children. With a passion for creating memorable moments, Raeanne enjoyed coordinating community events for the crew and leading Bible studies onboard. Currently, Raeanne is working remotely from Northern California, as a Staff Writer/Editor for U.S. Marketing, and is the podcaster for Mercy Ship's ministry on the New Mercies Podcast.
Dr. Jalil Dawood was born in Baghdad, Iraq, and came to the US as a refugee in 1982. After resettling into his new life in the US, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, his Master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the Executive Director of World Refugee Care in Plano, TX. The mission of World Refugee Care is to feed and clothe physically and spiritually hungry refugees in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Dr. Dawood is also the author of the book, "Sola Scriptura Training Resources."
Kerrie and Kellie are identical twins. They both serve in the worship ministry at their local church and they are both music teachers. Kellie works in a private high school as the choral and theater director and Kerrie teaches music to grades K-4 in a public elementary school. They both are married with three children. They both have bachelor's degrees and master's degrees in music and education. Kerrie recently finished her CAGS (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study) in Educational Leadership and Kellie has her doctorate in Worship Studies from The Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, FL.
Luke Wright is a Jr. High English/Language Arts Teacher. He is also an author with two published books, (The Devouring and The Raging) and a third novel in the series in the works. He has been married for almost 18 years, They have 2 young daughters. Luke grew up in Santa Clarita, CA. but now resides in Bakersfield, California.
Brandi Maige is a survivor of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer and has been a fundraiser for cancer research. As well, she gives back each Christmas to other breast cancer patients at Christmas through their Christmas Stocking program. She is also one of the Directors of the ministry, Becca's Closet for her community. She is a wife, mother of two young adults, a friend, and a PTO mom.
Dave Crouse is the Executive Director for Angeles Crest Christian Camp where he has served for the past 20 years. He began in ministry as a youth pastor and then senior/lead pastor for churches in Southern California. Camps at ACCC have been filled since the 1940s with young people being challenged by outdoor recreation events or connecting around campfires with their church groups, all while sharing the fun and laughter of camp games. Most importantly is the fact those students hear the Word of God preached every day. Dave is married to his wife Dani and they have 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. They live in Corona, CA.
Susan Macias writes and speaks to train up an army of women in the second half of life to serve the Kingdom, confidently follow Jesus, and fight offensively in prayer for their families. Her award-winning book UNCEASING: A Parent’s Guide to Conquer Worry and Pray With Power is available on Amazon. She is also the host of the inspirational podcast, We're Not Done Yet.
Diane + Sarah open up Season 4 of The Collaboration Conversation with an in-person interview with Sarah's dad/Diane's husband, Billy LeJeune. Billy was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, Cajun country. He currently lives outside of Nashville and is an elementary/middle school teacher, and musician/guitar player who has spent most of his life studying the Bible. He did undergraduate work at Pacific Christian College/HOPE University, graduate work in Administration and Supervision at TSU, and has a Master of Theological Studies from Lipscomb University. He is married and has three adult children: Beau, Sarah, and Jesse.
Diane + Sarah wrap up season three by talking about storytelling. Sarah's newest story is "Amazing Gracie." They talk about how that story is being made into a film this summer in North Carolina. They also talk about "The What If Mom" blog that Diane started years ago and three of the stories that she shared about the LeJeune family adventures.
Jeff Harris is the new Area Director with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for Douglas County in Colorado. As Area Director, Jeff will set the vision for how FCA will make an impact with coaches and athletes. With over 30 years of youth ministry and church planting experience behind him, Jeff is passionate about equipping leaders to reach further and to accomplish more for the Kingdom of God. Jeff believes that God has called all of us to use our gifts to serve Him. Jeff is excited to equip those under his direction to be passionate servants of Christ.
Gina Duke is a wife, mom, and Gigi. As well, she is an award-winning Christian author of Organizing Your Prayer Closet (Abingdon Press), strategy mentor, organizational consultant, and podcast producer of The Gina Duke Show. Her experience as a Human Resources executive along with her love for processes and strategies have evolved into a career that she loves - helping other leaders build systems and cultures that deliver results. She is called to serve the sometimes frazzled-feeling, but faith-filled female leader who feels stuck.
Jake Doberenz identifies as a polymath, a Renaissance man, or a multipotentialite – one interest or specialty can’t contain him. He most identifies as a writer and creative thinker, who lives in Oklahoma City, OK. His most significant role is the founder and president of Theophany Media, a Christian education company dedicated to helping Christians engage with culture through new media. He is the author of the book, Who We Are: Seven Christian Identities to Shape Your Life.
Sarah Keeling is a wife and mother of two boys; she loves Jesus and is passionate about helping others connect deeply with Him. She is an advocate for the Bibleless, and she loves encouraging others by sharing what God is doing in her life. She published Psalm Prayers for Kids: A 40-Day Prayer Journal to help families experience transformation. Sarah also published Psalm Prayers for the Nations: Engage Your Family with 40 Scripture-Based Prayers to help families participate in God’s global work through prayer. Sarah launched a podcast, Hearts at Rest with Sarah Keeling, as well, to help families spend a few minutes together in prayer and biblical meditation.
Peggy Schott is a native of New Orleans working as a film, television, commercial, and stage actor based in Austin, Texas. After many years working as a graphic designer, in small business, non-profit work, and raising children, she returned to her love of acting. Peggy has performed lead roles in stage plays and many short films, had supporting or principal roles in several features, and appeared in series. She appears in features that have premiered at SXSW, Sundance, and Cannes. Peggy’s series work includes the recurring role of Tess on AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead” and as series regular, Becky Travis on PureFlix’s “Vindication."
Author Alan T. Black is a man of principles and has always believed that it is the relationship we have with God that governs our life, the success we get, and the kind of journey we traverse. He describes his relationship with the Lord using one word: “transformation.” Continuing to grow daily in his walk with the Lord, and as well continue to display the fruits of his Spirit daily is what his life is all about. He has written two books: IN THE SPIRIT INTENDED and HERE I AM LORD. He is releasing a third book, JUST A CLOSER WALK.
Brandi Wilson is a life coach, author, and speaker who helps women and their families navigate the ups and downs of everyday life. She loves helping single moms learn how to show up fully for themselves so they can show up fully for their kids. She’s helped start two churches, the most recent being Cross Point Church in Nashville, TN, where she learned how important it is as a leader to know your truth and speak it. Her work now aims at helping women develop emotional and mental health so they live a life of freedom and confidence. Her own journey has taught her the power of that very skill.
Robert Wachter is an author, speaker, pastor, and faith-based coach. As the former chief marketing officer for a company that saw $6 billion in annual sales, and the founder and lead pastor of Imagine Church, Robert uses his experience across two different dimensions to help others reach their full potential and make Jesus irresistible to people everywhere.
Meggie is an actress, talk show host, wife, and mom. Meggie has appeared over 40 film and television projects, focusing mainly on faith and family projects. Because she has a heart to help others, you can find acting tips posted daily on Meggie's social media accounts. Meggie also hosts a virtual talk show titled Meggie Rambles with Other People where she focuses on faith and family friendly entertainment while keeping things light and fun. Jake Johnson is an incredibly talented musician. He is a children’s educator, worship leader, author and choir director at church. He has 2 wonderful children and an amazing wife, Haley (who is a Project Brickworks Board of Director's member). Jake is a one man show with Songs By Jake. He brings a unique blend of music, sketch art, puppetry and storytelling into a truly one-of-a-kind children’s experience. His performances aren’t simply shows, but opportunities for kids to feel the freedom to create, learn, and move through spontaneous, child-centric activities.

Patricia Douglas is the pastor of World Covenant Ministries International alongside her husband Mark. She's the founder of AFOMF "A Few of My Friends" a women's ministry" uniquely designed to bring God's daughters together and dig up the hidden treasures she believes God has placed in them. Through teaching the Word of God, nurturing, healing, and deliverance the Holy Spirit empowers the women. She is a Speaker, Author and has made appearances on WHTN, Bloom Today, Damascus Roads, Power-Fueled Living, and Keys to your BEST Life. Her newest book, "I Was Adopted Twice My Parents Love, My Father's Redemption" continues to transform lives. Patricia has three children and three grandchildren.
Jeff Boyet has quite the diverse resume. He is currently the Associate Pastor of Grace Chapel Fairview, but prior to that he’s spent years as a singer/songwriter, a prolific actor performing in well over 100 shows, and a well-loved middle school theatre teacher. He got his start in Nashville when he landed the gig of a lifetime on the Ryman auditorium - stage 3 nights a week portraying 50's rock legend Don Everly in Bye Bye Love the Everly Brother's Musical. Jeff is married with two daughters.
Stephanie Parker is an actress, screenwriter, director, producer, author, children's clothing line creator: Sleeping Baby, Shark Tank entrepreneur, children's books' author, wife, and mom. She and her husband handle the merchandise for tv show, The Chosen. She and her husband and two children live in Texas.
Ash Bowers is the co-founder of Wide Open Music, an artist management company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Along with managing breakout country artists such as Jimmie Allen and Matt Stell, Ash launched a publishing company in 2013 as well. He co-wrote the #1 country chart-toppers, "Make Me Want To" (2018) and "Prayed For You" (2019). Ash was an American country music singer himself before becoming a manager.
Jed and Katie Carter are language researchers in Papua New Guinea. They find and advocate for communities whose language has not yet been written. Jed grew up a third culture kid and Katie always wanted to work across cultures from a young age. They have three adventurous young daughters and they have just recently returned to their island home in the southwestern Pacific ocean.
Lori Farrar Booker is a Christian author, speaker, and inspirational blogger. She has written the book, Marked & Sealed: A Journal of God's Loving Pursuit. Lori lives in Virginia with her husband, Will, and 2 adult children. She came to faith in high school through Young Life. Community Bible Study is a big part of her life. She can't talk about herself without talking about Jesus.
Robbie Cheuvront is a multi-talented musician, pastor, author, songwriter, husband, father, and avid golfer. Robbie spent over a decade of his life on the road with the country band, Lonestar. He has served as a pastor at churches in Tennessee and California. He is currently working on his fourth and fifth fiction novels. As well, he is starting a new cajun food truck business this year with the profits going to missionaries in Budapest. He and his wife have two beautiful children and the family resides in Florida. Robbie has a deep desire to see God's hand at work in the lives of those who have yet to encounter Him.
After taking part in Coaching Mission International’s first Professional Coach training in 2009, Jon’s passion to see transformation in people’s lives was set ablaze when he saw the power of coaching to help people get unstuck, grow and thrive. After growing up in southwest Missouri, he has lived in southern California, Indiana, and now Arizona for more than 20 years. He served in local church ministry for 24 years before accepting the call to become CMI’s executive director in 2017. He and his wife June live near their 2 adult sons and a new granddaughter.
Hazel Adekunle is the Data/Logistics Coordinator and Creative Project Manager & Building Designer at Living Word Family Church in Wake Forest, NC. She is both a creator and an administrator. She is originally from the land of sun, sea, and sand - Trinidad and Tobago. She loves creating and being around other creative people. She is a member of our Board of Directors for Project Brickworks.
In today's episode, we will be talking to two extraordinarily talented teenagers, Colton Mangrum and Sophie McDaniel. Colton is a freshman at Renaissance High School. He is a talented musician and artist. Sophie is also a freshman in high school in the middle TN area. She, too, is a very talented artist. It is amazing when young people not only have a sense of their talents and career goals in life but when they know their talents and gifts are also a part of their calling.
Kristen Moore is a therapist as well as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she is passionate about encouraging emotional health for women. She is a creative, a seeker, a learner, and an Enneagram 9 on the life-long journey of self-awareness, balance, and emotional health.

Combining a passionate filmmaker with a creative and caring pastor, Micah loves questioning the status quo and working with a team to make the impossible happen. Micah’s destiny is to help others find theirs. He loves recognizing untapped potential and nurturing it to its fullest.
David Svenson is a very talented CameraOp, SteadiCam Operator, and DP. David was born in Chapel Hill, NC, and grew up in Charlotte, where his parents ran a retail bookstore, and where he was introduced to the TV and film business at a very early age. David worked at an industrial film company, television station, ad agency then went freelance 25 years ago. David met the love of his life In March of 2000; she patiently planted the seeds for his growth and relationship with Jesus. They got married a few years later and are blessed with three absolutely wonderful children.

Michael Jermaine Patterson, a native of Washington, D.C., began acting at the age of twelve years old after an introduction to theater arts. Years later, he took a serious interest in a number of martial arts disciplines as well as conditioning himself for many years as a track & field sprinter/hurdler. Although he enjoyed the number of other talents God blessed him with, Michael continued to have a huge passion for becoming a successful actor. Michael's previous works include Interim Pastor, Running The Bases, PERFECT The Series, FABLED Series, Timbertown, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, Love Different, Four Points, and a host of other films.
Pam Booher has been a pastor’s wife for 43 years and is a mom to two adult sons and 5 grandchildren. She and her husband, Chuck, have been in the senior Pastor role for 20 years. They serve at Crossroads Church in Corona, California. Prior to that, they served in youth ministry for more than 20 years! She is a photographer who uses her talents to encourage members of their church. She is working on a book of photos that will be a thought-provoking devotional. She loves serving as a life coach: "I really LOVE watching people grow in their relationship with Jesus and in whatever it is that they are looking for direction in." Pam leads the Crossroads women’s conference. Pam is a huge Disney fanatic!
Josh Walsh is a film producer and the Chief Operating Officer with Kingdom Story Company and the Erwin Brothers. Since joining Jon and Andy Erwin in 2011, their team has produced an impressive lineup of feature films including October Baby, Moms Night Out, Woodlawn, I Can Only Imagine, I Still Believe, and their current film, The Jesus Music. Listen in as Josh shares about his decade-long journey in learning how to create compelling films and how he builds community on a film set. This is such an insightful conversation.
In 2016, Kaysie started Homes & Havens which creates healing spaces for women and children in recovery. Using something she calls "trauma-informed design," the Homes & Havens team creates intentional, healing spaces that promote peace, joy, and restoration in every space they touch. Since its founding, Homes & Havens has furnished and designed close to 400 rooms in the Chattanooga area. Kaysie is married to Brian and the mother of Charlie and Henry. She enjoys gardening, painting, and reading.
As a published author of two books, (After the Miracle: Illusions Along the Path To Restoration, and Our Authentic Selves: Reflections On What We Believe and What We Wish We Believed), co-host of a weekly podcast (The Positive Sobriety Podcast), a regular contributor to blogs and articles for a variety of recovery and treatment websites, and a Certified Professional Recovery Coach in private practice in the Greater Nashville, TN area, David Hampton is immersed in the world of helping those with a variety of unwanted behaviors and disorders. David is also one of the executive producers of the upcoming documentary film, Shame On Us which tackles the subject of stigma and substance use disorder in our culture. As a man with his own story of recovery and restoration David is uniquely positioned to walk with both those who suffer and the loved ones who support them.
David makes his home in the downtown Franklin, TN area and enjoys many opportunities to involve himself in the local Greater Nashville area recovery community.

Candace Kirkpatrick is a method-trained actress with a BFA and MFA from Florida State University. While working in NYC, God called her out of the film/tv industry as she was continually asked to compromise her faith. After 2 decades, the Lord opened the door for her to return doing work that honors Him. She can presently be seen as Janet in the faith-based crime drama Vindication; as Sister Anne in the tv pilot Angels Unaware with Karen Abercrombie and Cameron Arnett; and Heather Gray in Running the Bases. She can be heard on audiobooks, audio dramas, and soon the delightful sitcom A Few Good Miles as Beth Miles. Last year Candace created the short film, SORRY with Sharonne Lanier that did very well in the faith-based film festivals. Presently, she has a comic short that is running in festivals. By His grace, Candace has several more features that she is tied to which will shoot this year.
Ehren Green is an amazing woman. She is wife, mother, daughter, and sister: wife to a college soccer coach, mother to two wonderful young boys. She is currently working on her Ph.D. and starting a new role as a clinical assistant professor in sport administration at the University of Louisville. She has quite a diverse background as she is a trailing spouse. As well, she is the chairman of the Project Brickworks Board of Directors.
Kim Aldrich is an engaging author, speaker, humorist, and musician with an out-of-the-box style and an off-the-charts passion for helping believers embrace a lifestyle of authentic discipleship by equipping them to DRINK IN and POUR OUT the truth and love of Jesus in relational ways. She lives with her musical comedian husband Paul in middle Tennessee, where she juggles writing deadlines, enjoys God-conversations with millennials, and drinks cinnamon dolce lattes whenever possible.
Jon Nicolas is a man on fire for Jesus. Jon believes that he is a man who has been forgiven much. He started his career in acting and comedy on the secular side, he was featured on Bloodline, and FX American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace. He got his first break in Comedy on the "Miami Ultimate Comedian" comedy competition. He then took a year off from all of film and acting to seek what the Lord wanted for his life and his marriage. Rebekah Cook is a Christ-follower, team player, and nonstop encourager who lived in Spain for nearly twenty years before moving stateside to pursue film acting. She apprenticed for two years with Advent Film Group before going freelance, and since 2009 has served on the cast and/or crew of over thirty film productions as an actress, coach, casting director, and script supervisor. Participating in the casting and production process from both sides has cross-trained her skills, enabling her to mentor actors one-on-one through video-conference coaching, and in group workshops at industry events such as the Christian Worldview Film Festival. From light-hearted comedies to action-packed dramas, Rebekah loves partnering with directors and actors to develop compelling characters from a script and breathe them onto the screen. Major League Baseball Umpire DJ Reyburn has an incredible story of perseverance, dedication, and determination. DJ has a B.A. in Sociology from Hope College where he played 2 seasons of football and 4 seasons of baseball. During his time as a minor league umpire, he worked off-season jobs as a bartender, substitute teacher, and in the HR department at Vanderbilt University. He also taught umpire school for The Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring. DJ was born in1976 in Grand Rapids, MI. He lived in the Lansing area until age 28 when he moved to Nashville after marrying his wife, Cherie. They reside in Middle TN with their three children.
Paul Aldrich is a comedian, songwriter, and inspirational speaker. For over 35 years Paul’s “funny music” and hilarious stand-up comedy have been featured at thousands of events across the U.S.A. and around the world. As a recording artist, Paul has 14 projects to his credit, including his award-winning CD MOCK ‘n’ ROLL. While working on his BA in Music Education, Paul became a volunteer Young Life leader and began performing skits, leading songs, and creating his own humorous songs and routines. With his Young Life experience as a foundation, Paul started traveling throughout the U.S. bringing his unique brand of "humor with a message" to people of all ages. Paul was born in Fresno California and lived in L.A. for several years before moving to Tennessee with his author/speaker wife Kim. In addition to life on the road, Paul produces and hosts the Paul Aldrich & Friends variety show in Franklin, Tennessee.
Bryan Coley is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of REEL Experiences. REEL Experiences was formed through years of story development alongside the creative team at Art Within, a non-profit organization developing methods to help screenwriters find their voice. REEL Studios then opened, becoming a place where people could have an experiential way of finding their story while having that story be seen by the people with whom they work, live and play. Prior to REEL and Art Within, Bryan received a film degree from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and worked for Turner Broadcasting for 12 years. During his time with Art Within, CRACKERJACK, a feature film executive produced and narrated by Jeff Foxworthy, was written and directed by Bryan. Rex Paul Schnelle is a full-time producer, artist, engineer, songwriter, and liturgist. The guitarist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and artist has released 4 albums, one with guests Eric Johnson, Dann Huff, and Phil Keaggy, titled Hero Shuffle. He plays all instruments, mixes but loves to produce other artists as well. Rex fronts the band, SacredSpace, and is presently using his skills with music and liturgy as Worship Leader at Crossroads Of The Nations Church in Brentwood, Tennessee.
In order to encourage the next generation to use their talents for God’s glory, we have founded The Carter Legacy Scholarship. Our goal is to award this scholarship to high school seniors to assist with college expenses. This week is a very special episode as we chat with Brooke Visser and Abbey Rodriguez, the 2021-22 Carter Legacy Scholarship Recipients about faith, their God-given talents, and spiritual gifts, as well as their college plans.
Brooke Visser is a very accomplished scholar and Christian athlete. She graduated with honors from Fairview High School, TN, where she took Honors and AP classes. She will be attending Carson Newman College (TN) in the Fall on a track scholarship. Brooke is a three-sport varsity athlete, lettering in tennis, basketball, and track. She medaled this year at the state finals track meet in the 4 X 400 relay race. Brooke participated in HOSA, Beta Club, and NAHS as well. Brooke plans to study for 6 years to be a nurse anesthetist. Brooke attends First Baptist Church and already has plans to start a Bible study on her college campus.
Abbey Rodriguez is a bright engaging leader and student scholar. She served as President of Model U.N. her senior year as well as carrying 30 credit hours in dual enrollment courses. She graduated with honors from Red Mountain High School, in Mesa, AZ, where she took Honors and AP classes. She will be attending Whitman College in Spokane, WA. Abbey taught 1st- 3rd graders in the children's ministry department at Central Christian Church in Mesa, AZ, throughout her high school years, While she plans to major in elementary education and hopes to teach 3rd or 4th grade, she will also have a minor in theology and another minor in biology.

This week, we are doing something a bit different. We chatted with two young people and talked with them about their talents and God-given gifts. It's an interesting perspective to hear from them about their perceptions on God and their talents and what they see for the future.
First up is a young filmmaker, Isaiah O'Sullivan. Isaiah is a 14-year-old, and will be starting the tenth-grade next year. He is a stop-motion filmmaker from the Nashville area. He and his brother have created over 300 videos between their two YouTube channels: Living Bricks Literature and Brother Fans of Lego.
Our second guest is Lincoln Josselyn. Lincoln is 10 years old and just finished the 5th grade. Lincoln, is an actress. She has been in many productions including Alice in Wonderland and most recently, she played the lead role in Matilda at her school.

He moved to Ohio in 2008 as a collegiate athlete, but after two years as a professional player, he suffered a career-ending shoulder injury requiring surgery after surgery, leading him down a dark path of drug addiction. After losing his family and everything he knew and loved, he was inspired to make a full recovery and turn his life around. After rehabilitation and graduation from Adult and Teen Challenge Ohio Valley, his family was restored and Markus pursued his dream and life-long calling to make a difference under the name Reach1 which stands for Reconciling Every Abandoned Child Home. He now travels around the country sharing his story of overcoming adversity in schools, conferences, community events, and camps. Adding to his business, Markus founded Reach1Creative, a creative outlet for local creatives able to offer photography and videography around the country for weddings, families, events, and businesses. Reach1Leadership was also birthed as a resource to those specifically looking for personal and leadership development for themselves or their business/staff. The Adopt-A-School Program, offered by Reach1Leadership, was founded by Markus in 2020 to create a space within school systems for students and faculty to be inspired to shift the culture of their school systems. Markus currently resides in Canton, Ohio with his wife, and two daughters.

Cindy Blom and her family spent 15 years fighting addiction and mental illness battle with their son, Erik. On May 1, 2014, they lost him to an accidental heroin overdose. As a Certified Professional Addiction and Recovery Coach, Cindy now works with those who are battling addiction, trauma, grief, and loss to develop life-giving strategies. Coaching includes helping connect those who struggle with addiction and substance use disorder to medically assisted treatment, trauma, and Adverse Childhood Experience therapy, and coaching for cognitive restructuring as well as the support of various recovery communities. This multi-faceted approach to recovery care is becoming widely accepted as a best-practices solution as addiction becomes more understood as a multi-faceted disorder. Doyle Dykes is a world-class guitar player as well as an incredible singer/songwriter. He has been playing guitar since he was a child and over the decades has created quite a legacy of musicianship and storytelling. Although influenced by a wide variety of musical styles and musicians, Doyle has developed a distinct, recognizable sound that amazes audiences with skill while capturing hearts with sincerity and soul.
