Military Historian Major Patrick Chaisson will tell you that history can be boring. Not when you listen to his stories. He served 13 months in Kuwait and Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a member of NY's National Guard he was part of the response team following the terrorist attacks on New York City in 2001. He holds the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Iraqi Campaign Medal. He has also made more than 50 military parachute jumps and wears the US Army and Canadian Forces Parachute Badges.
