SO YOU GOT FIRED! The nerve of some employers! Well you are definitely welcome here. I understand ..it happened to me too. The frustrating part is all the emotions and feelings that come with a job termination. Real Talk ..it SUCKS! Especially if you feel it was a wrongful termination and you are not prepared. In my case, I was blindsided. However, I was also relieved too because as a Program Manager I was under a lot of pressure. I was really mad and upset about the whole encounter. I kept playing it over and over.."what could I have done differently?" I would also tell my story to anyone who would listen .. I was a wounded animal! Then I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to open up a platform to allow others to vent and share dialogue..information..ideas .. opportunity and knowledge. The good thing is not only was I a Program Manager but I had a caseload as Financial Wellness Coach ,Certified Credit Cousnselor, Certified Student Loan Counselor, Certified Housing Counseling. My specialty was financial therapy which is financial behavior deep dive sessions that consist of understanding root cause of why we make the financial decisions and how to make better choices. Therefore, I want to specially help terminated ndividuals who were not only not prepared emotionally but also not prepared financially. Also I have lot of resources and information to share. So all are welcome..not only wrongfully terminated but job seekers.. employers..ect. Let's meet and discuss not bash or character assassinate, but hopefully together we can turn our unfortunate situation around and find not only a resolution but joy.
