Vale to Australian actor Lex Marinos who passed away at the age of 75.

It was 15 years ago today that the world lost Michael Jackson – the King of Pop.
In his 50 years on earth, he managed to cement himself as one of the biggest superstars the world has ever witnessed.
His 1982 album Thriller remains the highest-selling album of all time - and the m music video (and the dance) is a cult classic.
He revolutionsed the music video industry in the 90s with his groundbreaking film style… - and upped the ante for concerts – making them more of an experience, with special effects, epic lighting, and big sets – with all fellow artists struggling to keep up with him.
He was always ahead of the game.
He gave us the moonwalk. The glove. And of course, the Music…
Even after his death in 2009, Jackson’s influence on music, dance, and popular culture continues to be felt worldwide and his music and legacy remain highly celebrated.

📣🕷️ New species alert! Our scientists have described a rare and giant species of trapdoor spider only found in the Brigalow Belt, Central Queensland. Euoplos Dignitas lives in open woodland habitats building its burrows in black soil. Unfortunately, much of its habitat has been lost due to land clearing, making it likely to be an endangered species.

It's Saint Patrick's Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick, which is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
Ali has a few facts and handy tips to help celebrate the Irish way.
The play bow is when a dog stretches its front legs out in front, leaning down on its elbows. This brings the chest low to the ground as if the dog is about to lie down, but the rear end remains up in the air. Quite often, it's accompanied by a big doggie grin and maybe a little bark.
The next time you're enjoying a delightful brunch, raise a mimosa to Guy Beringer, and his inspiration for the mixed meal which was first proposed in 1985 via his essay, Brunch: A Plea'. Guy urged that a lighter meal between breakfast and lunch to soothe hangover ailments, was a better way to start the day.
We have a contender though... surely The Hobbits invented Brunch? LOL

Meet Elsie... the 84 year-old is the sole resident of the Nebraskan town Monowi after her husband Rudy died in 2004.
She owns and runs the Monowi Tavern, the Library and hosts a card night every Friday with people from all over coming to visit.
The Oxford Dictionaries state that to "MacGyver" is to make or repair something "in an improvised or inventive way, making use of whatever items are at hand", eg "he MacGyvered a makeshift jack with a log".
