Where doubt and uncertainty are there faith is not, nor can it be. For doubt and faith do not exist in the same person at the same time; so that persons whose minds are under doubts and fears cannot have unshaken confidence.
We must develop our spiritual strength and secure strong spiritual anchors in order to withstand the temptations of Satan, and to have the ability to hang on when all seems completely impossible.
Therefore, fear not, little flock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my rock, they cannot prevail.
Through obedience, faith, and godly characteristics we can have access to the powers of heaven. This is when faith becomes a principle of power.
