The way I do commercial breaks is to load the files I want into the Playlist area of the Spreaker Console. I can change the order, I needed.
If you chose to do this (instead of having a combined ad that you play), make sure that the console isn't creating a tracklist on the master file (go to preferences > console and uncheck "Tracklist")
When it is time for the commercial break:
1 - Make sure that the MUTE TO AUDIENCE is off and the AUTO DJ is on - click play on the first file (it will automatically play the next until it reaches the end of the playlist)
2 - Mute the host's mic so they can speak freely without it being broadcast over the air
3 - When you near the end of the commercial break, turn the monitor on for the playlist (allows the hosts to hear the last portion of the ad) and unmute their mic. Give them an "And Go!" signal when they can start talking.
This "Show Profile" has all of the commercials that are currently in circulation.
Each TPOK Radio live show must include
- one Sinvention ad (you can choose from those available)
- one TPOK Network ad (choose from those available)
- one PSA (choose from those available) - when they become available
The following ads should be rotated throughout the episodes
- DarkSide Magazine
- Kink Starter Cards
When a sponsor is no longer being aired on our shows (or the content of the ad is time-sensitive and no longer relevant), the ad will be moved to the Past Commercials show.
