Miguel's girlfriend, Amy, still hasn't had her baby so we talked about that and some legal issues Miguel has going on surrounding that and his other son. We talked a little about the mishap at the Ms. Universe Pageant, Star Wars and other movies we've loved from our past that Miguel's too young to have seen, and we spent a lot of time discussing and explaining to women how screwed up the male brain is when it comes to rejection and dating.

NO SEX TALK this episode. We heard from a couple of fans that were concerned that the new version of this podcast was going to be completely dedicated to sex talk. That was only two episodes and we felt like we needed to thoroughly explore Miguel's adventurous new sex life with his lovely girlfriend Amy. So, we did it and now we're done. This episode is dedicated to catching up with each other's week and Todd's son Bailey was home for college so he sat in with the crew.

We also dove deep into how Miguel's sex life has changed since he met Amy and how Seth's has not.

Jack McLaughlin was our guest. Jack is the younger brother of our very own Tim McLaughlin. It was Jack's birthday, so as his gift, Tim gave him is own episode because he is a huge fan the podcast. Jack talked about what it was like growing up with an older brother like Tim and how amazing it is that he didn't grow up to be a serial killer. Caleb Synan sat in on the panel with us, which was a special treat. Caleb is a hilarious comedian who finished second in this year's prestigious Laughing Skull Comedy Festival.
In honor of Father's Day, our guest was Scott Bowers who happens to be the father of our very own Chris Bowers. He paid us a visit while visiting from his home in Canada. As you'll hear, he's greatly responsible for who Chris Bowers is today. He shared stories from Chris' childhood so that we got to not only learn about Scott Bowers the dad, we got to learn more about Chris Bowers the son. Jeff Oskay was our guest. Jeff is a hilarious and talented comedian who lives right here in Indianapolis. He's a writer for The Bob & Tom Show, as well as a frequent guest on the show. He's one of our favorite comedians in the area so we wanted you to learn more about him. Jeff is a superstar single dad who has a very interesting back story. We talked about his previous career as a stock broker and how he gave it all up to open his own coffee shop, which eventually lead to a career in standup comedy and working for The Bob & Tom Show.
Greg Warren was our guest. Greg has been seen on “Comedy Central Presents”, “The Late Late Show” and“Last Comic Standing”. He's also a favorite on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom” radio show, which led him to tour theatres across the country with the “Friends of Bob and Tom Comedy Tour”. We talked about Greg's succesful high school and college wrestling career, his career at Proctor and Gamble, and his journey from open mic'r to the amazing comedian that we know today. We're all big fans of Greg so this was a real treat.
Mike Merryfiled was our guest. Mike is a very talented comedian and the host of the hit podcast "Irrelevant with Mike Merryfield". He was also the winner of season 3 of Comcast’s Trial By Laughter. He was the runner up in the 2012 37th Annual San Francisco Comedy Competition, and he's one of the original "Lucky 21" at the HBO Comedy Festival. We talked about why he's much happier than he used to be, how his social media backfired on the witness stand, and our good friend John Conroy made a special guest appearance.
Pete Dominick was our guest. Pete was The Audience Warm Up Comic for Stephen Colbert for over 6 seasons and 1000 tapings. He also worked at over 200 episodes of The Daily Show. He left Colbert in March 2010 to do a nightly segment on CNN JohnKingUSA then went back in Oct 2011 and left for good in January 2013 to focus on his new morning radio show at SIRIUSXM "StandUp with Pete Dominick". It was awesome to have him on the show and being the master interviewer that he is, it was more like the four of us were guests on his show. We really enjoyed this one so check it out!
Tom Simmons graced us with his presence a second time which made us all very happy. Tom is one of our favorite comedians and he's a dear friend. We all look up to Tom and we love when he comes to town to hang out. We got to hear about his close call with having a second child and we explored a little with what he thinks is wrong with the world. Tom has twice been a finalist in The Boston Comedy Festival, he's won the Sand Francisco Comedy Festival, and you've seen him on Showtime and Comedy Central. Ladies and Gentlemen, our friend, Tom Simmons.
Conor Delehanty was our guest. Conor is a very talented comedian from Indianapolis who moved to Chicago to further his career. He's a good friend of the show and he happens to be one of our biggest fans so it was very cool having him on. We just sat around the table and had a good damn time. The highlight of the episode was Conor's impression of "Black Bowers". This is a good one so check it out.
Brian Moote was our guest. He started performing stand up in 2005 while he was working as a teacher in the Seattle School District. After graduating with his Master's Degree in Social Work he moved to LA and now tours the country telling jokes. He has made TV appearances on the USA Network's "Characters Welcome," Nickelodeon's "Nickmom's Nite Out," MTV's "Money from Strangers" and AXS TV's "Gotham Live." He's a good friend of the show and a favorite at Morty's Comedy Joint so check him out.
Michael Malone was our guest. Michael was named Campus Activities Magazine's Top Comedy Performer of 2013 and the "Hot Comic to Watch in 2013". He was also the winner of the prestigious 33rd Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2012. He's a very dear friend of the show and we're very proud of his success.
He's formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana but he now lives in Los Angeles. Listen as we discuss what it was like for him to grow up as the small town "fat kid" who lost his father at a very young age and the challenges he is facing as he tries to bring these stories to the stage.
James P. Connolly was our guest. He may be the only comedian in history who is a graduate of Harvard University and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served four years as an officer in an Infantry Division. He's appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, The Jerry Lewis Telethon and he's a frequent guest on The Bob & Tom Show.
Costaki Economopoulos returns to the show for his second appearance. He's a great friend of the show and of course everyone loves him for his weekly segment on The Bob & Tom Show, which is called "The Economonologue". You can also find him on his own podcast "Quick Snaps", which is a very funny and informative review of what's happening in the NFL.
We talked about his podcast, his "secret" marriage plans, and other significant life changes he's experiencing. Costaki Economopoulos; the longest name in comedy, the nicest guy in comedy, and one of the funniest comedians in the game. Check him out!
Kyle Grooms was our guest. We talked about Kyle's days as a graffiti artist, his move to Miami where he worked as a graphic artist for NBC, and then his transition to standup comedian. Throughout his career, he has appeared in his own hysterical half-hour standup special on Comedy Central, while also making multiple appearances on VH1, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” and famed sketch comedy show, “Chappelle’s Show.”
Ben Morrison was our guest. Ben is best known as the lead on the 8th season of MTV's "Punk’d" and as Young Eli David on television’s #1 show NCIS. He has also appeared opposite Shaq and Nic Cannon on the Cartoon Network, on season 5 of Last Comic Standing, and as Abe Lincoln Vampire Slayer in the spoof "30 Days of Paranormal Activity”.
Hear Ben showcase his "TV Voice" as he helps us clear up one of the most misinterpreted common expressions known to man. Well, at least American man.
Gary Gulman was our guest. Gary Gulman has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Craig Kilborn and Comedy Central's Premium Blend. He's had one-hour comedy specials on Comedy Central and Showtime and he was featured on Dane Cook's "Tourgasm" on HBO.
We talked a bit about comedy but mostly we just round-tabled and had a good ass time. This was a milestone episode for us because Gary is one of our comedy heroes.
Jamie Utley was our guest. Jamie is a comedian based in Louisville, KY who has opened for some of the best and recently made his debut on The Bob & Tom Show. He's a very interesting dude. We talked a lot about his addictive personality. He conquered a powerful drug addiction but as he explained, addiction never goes away so he's replaced drugs with less harmful addictions like shopping and collecting of things like shoes, clothing, matchbox racing tracks, and other ridiculous things. We had a lot of fun and we love this guy so we're thrilled to introduce you to him. Enjoy!
Jen Kober was our guest. Jen's a very talented comedian and actress. You can see her on "Anger Management" with Charlie Sheen and on the new movie "Grudge Match" with Sylvester Stallone, Robert DeNiro, and Kevin Hart.
We reminisced about TV shows we grew up with and we talked about her run-in with the cops, her former job at Disney, and how 9-11 changed her life. We absolutely fell in love with Jen Kober and we're sure you will too.
Shang was our guest. Shang has cemented his position as one of the brightest funnymen in the business with his political and explosive humor which has been showcased on HBO’s Aspen Comedy Festival Special “Best of the Fest”, Politically Incorrect, National Lampoon’s "New Faces", and Comedy Central’s "Jamie Foxx Presents".
This was a fun conversation. We talked about where comedy was at when he started, where it is today, and where we think its going from here.
Miguel Dalmau was our guest. Miguel is a very talented comedian from New York who's been featured in "Time Out New York" and on NBC’s "Stand Up for Diversity". He carries a full-time comedy schedule while holding a full-time job as a Psychiatric Nurse. We talked about the difficult balance between those two careers and how he overcame the odds by escaping the rough neighborhood where he was raised. We were also joined by guest host / comedian Mike Gardner and superfan Michael "MJ" Adelman.
Ryan Singer was our guest. He's appeared on Maron on IFC, he's a frequent guest on WTF with Marc Maron, and you've heard him on The Bob & Tom Show.
Ryan discussed his struggle with sex addiction and religion. We talked about ghosts, the paranormal, and metaphysics. We love Ryan because he not only makes you laugh but he forces you to think. If you like doing both of those things then you should love this episode.
Sean "Big Sexy" McCorkle was our guest. Sean is a Mixed Martial Arts fighter who has fought in the UFC and still fights in other top tier organizations. Sean is 6'7" and walks around at 315 pounds. He's not only a giant but he also happens to be very funny. We got to know him pretty well this episode and we can tell you that Sean's freakish size isn't nearly as scary as his sense of humor. This was our first guest who’s a celebrity outside the world of comedy but it definitely didn’t slow down the funny.
Dave Reinitz was our guest. He's a talented comedian and co-owner of Flapper's Comedy Club in Burbank, California. We talked about his move from New York to LA. Dave and Bowers compared notes on what its like to be a club owner and a comedian. We paid homage to Tim's friend and co-worker Dave who recently passed away and then we covered adult topics like war, animal documentaries, and penis size.
AJ Finney was our guest. AJ's in the 2nd round of Comedy Central's "Up Next" comedy series and he's a favorite every year at The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival. We talked about his 7 year stint at UPS where he became the union's hero and the administration's worst nightmare. But we're glad he finally quit UPS because we think he's one of the funniest up and coming comedians going today. Plus, now we feel a lot more secure about shipping things.
This was our 50th episode so we decided to not have a guest on this one. Actually, our guest overslept and didn't make it so we did it anyway with just us. We took an opportunity for our loyal listeners to get to know us a little better. We explored Todd's background a little bit and he talked about his love for pranking people. He shared some of his favorite pranks and then the rest of the crew shared theirs. We want to thank everyone that follows the podcast for their devotion and we promise to keep improving. We love doing this thing so we look forward to another 50 episodes together.
Matt Baca and Laura Hayden were our guests. They were both in town competing in Trial by Laughter, which was filmed for Comcast. Matt and Laura are great friends and often tour the country together performing standup comedy. Matt recently performed at the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival and was selected to perform at the Laughing Devil Comedy Festival in New York. Dr. Laura Hayden is a practicing physical therapist, touring comedian and motivational speaker. We talked about a variety of topics, like Halloween costumes, sexual fetishes, massage parlors, and sex toys.
Joe Kilgallon was our guest. Joe is a proud member of the Comedians You Should Know, a group of six stand-up comedians, based in Chicago, who released an album in February of 2011 that debuted at number one on the ITunes comedy charts. He's also appeared on NBC Sports and in the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.
We talked about a variety of topics like Joe's plan to move to L.A., relationships, CSI, and weird places that drunks pee.
Dwayne Perkins was our guest. He's made several appearances on Comedy Central and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Most recently, he has been getting a lot of buzz for his recurring piece on The Jay Leno Show entitled "Great White Moments in Black History." He's also a member of The Bob & Tom Comedy Tour. Dwayne talked about what it was like growing up in the hood as the smartest kid in his neighborhood. We also discussed his decision to leave his computer job in Silicone Valley for a career in stand up comedy.
Saleem Muhammad was our guest. His credits include appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, TBS’s “Lopez Tonight” and FOX’s “Best Damn SportShow…Period”. We talked about everything that's wrong with the world and what to expect when it's over. Then we covered tough topics like comedy, Reality TV, and Saleem's affinity for hats.
Andrew Rivers was our guest. He's a very funny dude from Seattle, WA. You've heard him on The Bob and Tom Show and he was a finalist in The Tacoma Comedy Festival. He has some hilarious stories about his High School dating experiences, or lack there of, and how he overcame bullying. He also has one of our favorite "breaking the cardinal rule of comedy clubs" story ever, which happened right here at our very own Morty's Comedy Joint.
Marc Ryan was our guest. We talked about comedy, his transition into sobriety, and what it was like growing up in rural Louisiana - which no doubt is to blame for everything that happened prior to his sobriety.
Marc is best known for his video series on YouTube called "Steve the DUI Lawn Mower Guy", which is crazy because he's had numerous television appearances over his career. Marc hosted the Outdoor Channel series “Mudslingers”, he appeared on the hit sitcom “The Parkers”, and he was a contestant on both Last Comic Standing and Star Search.

Rachel's story is hilariously ridiculous. Listen as she walks us through her teenage years as an Anarchist, her decision to run off to New York with her boyfriend's band, and how she fumbled her way into becoming an actor and standup comedian.
