Many remember David for his prayer of repentance in Psalm 51. God forgave David but God also promised that the SWORD would never leave David's house. The enemy has a way of making things seem more drastic than they really are. The famous acronym FEAR means False Evidence Appearing REAL is the best example that demonstrates how Satan attempts to disturb and frustrate us. The enemy wants us to believe temporary circumstances are permanent. He ultimately wants us to suffer despair and lose all hope.
1 Peter 5:8 tells us to Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. John 10:10 reveals the enemy's purpose and why Jesus came. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The daily life we live is not always easy. We will face trials and tribulations. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19)

On the first show we discussed his controversial book and dealt with the issue of tithing. David Lee revealed that tithing was not a new testament requirement for Christians. He further stated that God does not want 10% of our money He wants 100% of us. In Sunday Morning Stickup: What Your Pastor Does Not Want You to Know About Tithes Part II we will deal with two chapters in David Lee’s book titled “The Changing Face of Christianity” and “My Sheep Know My Voice.”
It is very important for Christians to be students of the Bible and be lead by the Holy Spirit. According to John 10:1-5 it says “Anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.

Heidi practices breath awareness, an ancient Vipassana meditation technique. She practiced this technique for more than thirty years. After experiencing many benefits including better health, creativity and happiness, she was inspired to help children. In 1996, she pioneered an attention development program called Mindmasteryand was one of the first to teach breath awareness to children in public schools in Canada. Heidi currently conducts breath awareness workshops and lectures and spends time painting and exhibiting internationally.
