Home of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown. THE Podcast for Arizona Cardinals fans based in the UK and Ireland and anyone else who is happy enough to hear a trio of fans witter on about the latest goings on with the Arizona Cardinals franchise.
Want to get in touch with us? Find us on Twitter @BritishBirdgang or send over an email to tom@britishbirdgang.co.uk and we'd be more than happy to answer any queries that you may have.
Yeah, I know it doesn't really work considering you pronounce his name as 'Bl-oww)...but who cares? Except that one guy on Reddit. Happy New Year.
It's that time of the year again, where Tom and Callum suit up and dish out a handful of BB Awards to worthy Arizona Cardinals recipients. From goat of the year, to old fogey of the year, to game of the year to the BritishBirdgang MVP. Lots of stuff, lots of content, hope you enjoy it.
Blink and you'll miss them , the Arizona Cardinals made the playoffs...then...well, you know, they didn't. Ugh.
The losing run is over, Kyler continues his streak in Dallas and we have another episode of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown.
It might be the bye week but we still have to put an episode out there...we talk about things and invite you to listen to that in this episode.
After last week's disappointment, the Arizona Cardinals bounced back with a win over the dastardly Seattle Seahawks to guarantee a first winning season since 2015 and a winning record within the NFC West this season, all with Colt McCoy at Quarterback. Can't be bad...
...but we did anyway because we are the BritishBirdgang Breakdown and that is what we do!
We've got that winning feeling back again, Victory Monday all around the place. 8-1. Wow.
You know how much we love Scorigami on the BritishBirdgang Breakdown? Well, we finally witnessed an Arizona Cardinals game that finished with a unique scoreline in NFL history. Plus more stuff. Seven wins in a row...wow.
A fifth win in a row for the Arizona Cardinals means another positive episode of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown.
FINALLY! The Arizona Cardinals ended the Sean McVay winning streak, seeing them off 37-20 this past weekend. For a laugh, count how many times we mention the scoreline and let us know on Twitter how many there are - correct answer will win a BritishBirdgang prize. Not that anyone will enter because nobody ever reads episode descriptions do they? 37-20. lol.
The Arizona Cardinals go to 3-0 after a topsy-turvy game against the Jacksonville Jaguars that had more twists and turns than a twisty-turny thingy. Join Tom and Callum as they break down that game and look ahead to the 3 tough games next up for the Cardinals...
The Arizona Cardinals are 2-0 for the second successive season (try saying that when you're drunk!) after a miraculous end-of-game missed Field Goal from the Minnesota Vikings whos kicker decided to unleash his inner Zane Gonzalez/Chandler Catanzaro/other useless Cardinal kickers we've had the misfortune of witnessing.
Well, what a start to the 2021 NFL Season for the Arizona Cardinals! Join Tom and Callum as they break down the season opener with plenty of positives to cover from start to finish, find out the unsurprising winner of the Player of the Game...and more.
The 2021 NFL season is nearly here, the Arizona Cardinals are ready which means the BritishBirdgang Breakdown has to be ready as well. Breaking down the roster, cursing fantasy football team names and previewing the Week 1 game vs. Tennessee. What more could you want? Besides a dinosaur.
The BritishBirdgang Breakdown pre-season show is here where we discuss all the minor things going on for the Cardinals; Larry Fitzgerald's urge to play...roster cuts...pre-season games...fantasy football. It's all here.
Oh...and we have a new artwork. Stay tuned, we may actually get new theme music for the new season.
The 2021 NFL Schedule is out, jersey numbers are out, other stuff is out...so is Episode 116 of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown where we breakdown all those aforementioned things.
As it says on the tin. The 2021 Arizona Cardinals draft broken down by the BritishBirdgang Breakdown.
I don't know what you mean when you say we said it was Episode 115 in the opening seconds of the episode? Like we'd make such a basic error...
Anyway, with the NFL Draft just hours away when we release this thing, Tom and Callum break down what the Arizona Cardinals could possibly do with pick 16 of the first round? And, who can forget the massive two-round mock draft we do live. So, enjoy the episode and look forward to what we think of the selections the team make this upcoming week in our next episode. Which will be E115. I think.
Sod it, nobody will notice anyway...
After a bit of a break, the UK's number 1 Arizona Cardinals podcast is back as Tom and Callum break down all the moves in Free Agency 2021 (so far.) Naturally things happen during and after recording as well, such is life. Enjoy.
It's been a long season so sit back, relax and enjoy our End-of-Season Awards Spectacular - along with bits of season recap stuff (mainly combined because we can't be arsed doing a separate episode for each thing.)
Who wins the big one, the BritishBirdgang MVP?
Who takes home the 'goat of the season' award?
Who falls asleep during Callum's impromptu math lesson?
Only way you'll find out is if you listen to the episode...
Our regular-season finale where we round up the final disappointment of the 2020 NFL season, announce the BirdgangBowl winner and launch the 2020 BritishBirdgang Awards...
The Cardinals win their 8th game of the season to guarantee a non-losing season. Join Tom and Callum as they break down the win over Philadelphia along with fantasy football and all other stuff.
Not One Sack.
Not Two Sacks.
Not Three Sacks.
Not Four Sacks.
BUT FIVE SACKS.
Plus some other stuff. But mainly five sacks. Haason Reddickulous, more like.
ISAIAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
ISAIAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
E105. A loss to break down. But an Isaiah Simmons breakout to breakdown. So who really wins?
That game.
That ending.
Wow.
I'm not sure how you get a podcast about that...but we do. And here it is.
All good things come to an end, but that doesn't mean the BritishBirdgang Breakdown is ending any time soon - we're referring to the Cardinals' win streak that was abruptly halted this past weekend when the Miami Dolphins came to town. See, or rather hear, what both Tom and Callum thought about the game along with all the usual bits and pieces that make up a great episode of the UK's number one Arizona Cardinals fan podcast. The stats don't lie.
It's the Cardinals bye week and that means a scurry to put together some semblance of a podcast episode without a game to review. But we managed it.
More prime time football? Excuse me, I need to go take a nap...just listen to the podcast as Tom and Callum break down yet another Cardinals victory and other stuff that I'm too...yawn tired to talk about now....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Could there be any more B's in the title? Also, thanks for listening to this and any/all of our previous 99 episodes- ideally we'd have had something massive planned for episode 100 but a battering of the Cowgirls will have to suffice.
Episode 97 of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown with stuff and things related to the Arizona Cardinals. Exciting.
Another win, another BritishBirdgang Breakdown where we go on...and on...and on...about our latest win of the season plus there's more Kyler Murray chatter and everything else. Nobody ever reads these so I just waste my time writing them every week, don't I?
The first official BritishBirdgang Breakdown Episode from Week 1 of the 2020 NFL Season - where Tom and Callum have the rare luxury of a victory to rave about, along with the debuting DeAndre Hopkins! Then there's your usual bits of Fantasy Football, Weekly Pick'em Selections and then a look ahead towards Week 2 versus the Washington Football Team.
At long last, NFL Football has returned...and you know what that means? That's right, weekly episodes of the UK's #1 Arizona Cardinals podcast - the BritishBirdgang Breakdown. So join Tom and Callum as they breakdown the Cardinals' 53-man roster, Practice Squad as well as "cursing" a good percentage of the 2020 BirdgangBowl participants. Then, of course, a preview of the San Francisco game AND a bunch of Season Predictions for the Arizona Cardinals. We do treat you good.
In these unprecedented times, it seems only right to revive the BritishBirdgang Breakdown and bring you up to date on a pre-season football-less off-season alongside various other bits as we ramp up towards the strange world that is the 2020 NFL Season...
The lockdown continues, but at least we've got the NFL Draft selections of the Arizona Cardinals to breakdown in this special episode of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown. Join Tom and Callum as they go through each of the selections, name the UDFA players and all the usual kinds of terrible humour and Simpsons references that you can shake a stick at. Go listen or that's a paddlin'.
Coronavirus might be taking over the world, but so is the NFL Draft - join Tom and Callum as they speculate about what the Arizona Cardinals could do during the three-day extravaganza as well as partaking in a mock Draft of their own. #CeeDee2AZ is still a thing and will remain so for at least the next 24 hours. Enjoy.
Coronavirus might be taking over the world, but the BritishBirdgang Breakdown is here to take over the airwaves. Whether you're staying at home like a sensible person or being a total knobhead thinking you can do as you please, join Tom and Callum as they chatter about the latest Arizona Cardinals news of Free Agency and the like. Enjoy. And stay the fuck at home, dickhead. (Unless you're an essential worker, then do what you do.)
And so it all boils down to this, the Season Finale of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown with a load of BritishBirdgang Awards to hand out - so give a listen and find out which players won the most prestigious of NFL Honours.
It's 2020 and that means a new year, a new start and all that kinda stuff. So, what better way to celebrate the new calendar year than by bringing out a double-header episode where both Tom and Callum wrap up the 2019 season with the positive aspects of the Seattle and LA Rams games along with BirdgangBowl winner announcement, the launch of the 2019 BritishBirdgang Awards and a look back at our preseason predictions. Lots of stuff.
You lost that losing feelin', now it's gone, gone, gone, woah...
At long last, the Cardinals six game losing streak is over. The Drake Curse is gone. The German Birdgang Curse is capiche.
But Tom's voice is still broken, so apologies for any weird sounding bits. .
Alas, two more games to go this season. Least we're not finishing on a 9-game losing streak.
(Other betting providers are available.) More losses for the Cardinals as they lost to the Steelers AND their stadium to the Steelers fans. Join Tom and Callum as they break that down, curse selected BirdgangBowl playoff teams and look at the Browns game this weekend. Enjoy.
Remember (name redacted) back in 2017? Well, how about Part 2? Contrary to what you may think, it isn't the Bidwill Family but actually the LA Rams own the Arizona Cardinals. Ugh. Join a broken-down Tom and Callum to break down that game and talk about the Steelers game this coming weekend.
What do you do when you have no Arizona Cardinals game to talk about but you need to fill a podcast episode with content of some description? You talk about the Pro Bowl voting. And fantasy football. Still, it's a BritishBirdgang Breakdown Episode. What more could you ask for?
Welp. Another loss to break down.
Welp. Tragic FantasyFootball results.
Welp. No Cardinals game to preview.
Welp.
You'll be glad to know that this isn't as long an episode this week as we only have the one defeat to breakdown. TB vs AZ fallout, statistics from yesteryear and less than 10 minutes of fantasy football chatter to appease David. You're welcome.
A bumper, massive episode of the BritishBirdgang as - owing to scheduling conflicts and the NFL's silly decision to give everyone a Thursday Night Football - we've got the New Orleans and San Francisco defeats to break down for you all. Also, with it being sort-of the mid-season, we bring you our midseason+1 thoughts and also look at the Bruce Arians Revenge game this coming weekend. Fun.
For the first time since 2015, the Cardinals have won 3 games in a row thanks to a career day from one Chase Edmonds. Join Tom and Callum as they breakdown that victory over NYG and look ahead to a tough game against New Orleans.
Kyler Murray is awesome. Kyler Murray is good. Kyler Murray is love. Kyler Murray is life. Kyler Murray is the GOAT. K
Another loss for the Arizona Cardinals, but far more success for Tom and Callum in the two fantasy football leagues...so I suspect you'll hear a bit of gloating and the like...
Remember when we were optimistically hoping for a first Arizona Cardinals victory of the season last week? Then Sunday happened and we're back with another morbid episode of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown where we break down that loss against Carolina (what? another one?) and look to the Seattle game this weekend.
So the Arizona Cardinals remain winless in the 2019 NFL season, however they're not 0-2 like some poor schmucks...so, I guess that's reason to be cheerful. Good game vs. Baltimore is the main focus of this episode of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown, as is Tom's magnificent fantasy football win over Callum.
Fancy new intro, fancy new offence and the same old podcasters; sounds like a perfect time to kick off the new season of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown!
WEEK 1 of the 2019 NFL Season is over and done with, so what better time for Tom and Callum to breakdown the 27-27 TIE with the Detroit LIons from an Arizona Cardinals perspective? There's fantasy updates AND a look ahead to our Week 2 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
So, check out E74 of the BBB and let us know what you think.
A brand new NFL Season can only mean one thing - a brand new episode of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown!
Tom and Callum are back to breakdown all of the (well, some of them) offseason goings on for the Arizona Cardinals as well as look towards the 2019 NFL Season and their predictions for various stuff and things.
There's also their attempt to be Steve Keim with an almost 53-man roster selection.
Enjoy.
What's better than the 2019 NFL Draft? Well, the BritishBirdgang Breakdown post-Draft episode, obviously. Join Tom and Callum on 'The Draftermath' as they talk about all eleven selections made by the franchise along with a ridiculous amount of questions from fans/listeners in an hour-long super special spectacular episode. Check it out.
The NFL Draft is coming. Not words that Ned Stark ever spoke in Game Of Thrones - granted, he died a long time ago and hasn't had to suffer through weeks and weeks of speculation that the Arizona Cardinals would take Kyler Murray at 1 in the NFL Draft. Lucky bastard.
Anyhoo, it's time for the BritishBirdgang Breakdown Pre-NFL Draft Podcast Episode. Join Tom and Callum as they break down the off-season goings on, the NFL Schedule Release and more NFL Draft chatter than you could shake a stick at. There's also not one mock draft...not even two mock drafts...but THREE of the buggers? What kind of madness is this?
Enjoy.
It's been a crazy start to March for the Arizona Cardinals, so what better time than now to launch Episode 70 of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown - allowing for Tom, Callum and TK to analyse the craziness and make sense of what these Kyler Murray rumours may or may not mean for the franchise as well as recapping the goings-on of February. (Naturally we missed the trade for Marcus Gilbert owing to us recording this episode less than 24 hours before that news broke!)
Nice.
Episode 69 of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown sees the guys break down the Kliff Kingsbury hire for the Arizona Cardinals and also announcing the results of the 2018 BritishBirdgang Awards. #AndyLee4MVP? Did it work? Well, you'll have to listen to find out.
2018 was a garbage year for the Arizona Cardinals and a 3-13 record meant the end of Steve Wilks as the teams' Head Coach. So, who will be next to take the role? Possibly the BritishBirdgang Breakdown team? Well...maybe? What's the worst that could happen?
Another defeat for the Arizona Cardinals makes this festive edition of the BritishBirdgang Breakdown that more unfestive. Ugh.
Déjà Vu? - The term déjà vu is French and means, literally, "already seen." Those who have experienced the feeling describe it as an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn't be familiar at all.
You may get that sense with the 2018 Arizona Cardinals? Solid opening drive before offering nothing else the rest of the game? Also have you heard a Steve Wilks press conference? That's like the most deja vu thing you'll ever hear.
Enjoy the podcast.
