I once told an agnostic friend and co-worker that I was convinced he would have to become miserable before he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Additionally, I told him I was praying towards that end. I also told a Bahai colleague of ours, after a vigorous spiritual debate, that his unbelief in Jesus being the son of God would eventually be broken upon his coming to the point of death someday. Today we learned that a young national championship wrestler in Iran was publicly executed. While everyone has an opinion on the war in Iran, there are some facts that are undebatable: anyone in Iran who dares speak out against the Regime (like the 19 year old wrestler) will be executed, and all those in Israel and the United States have been in the crosshairs of the Regime's vile hatred for decades. I took Lulu to the beach for a last walk on Sunday. I planned on letting her walk around some areas near a lagoon where she always desired to go and sniff around. I was ready to be down there with her as long as she wanted. Sadly, less than a half-hour into the walk Lulu’s left leg failed and she immediately collapsed to the ground. She was in such discomfort that she refused to even budge. I called Ben to come help me gather her up and carry her home. While waiting for Ben I laid on the sand to talk to Lulu and stroke her graying coat. About twenty minutes later, as Ben was arriving, she determinedly, yet gingerly, stood up and pointed her nose towards home. I think that was my cue.

Obama's offenses? Try one-point-eight billion dollars in cash delivered on a wooden pallets to the radical Islamist leadership of Iran for starters. Then there was Obama’s unauthorized war on Libya, which was unprovoked by any attack (or threatened attack) on the US, and unwanted by a vast majority of Americans. He also aided and abetted in the murder of Libya's leader and in the process destabilized the country, leading to a bloodbath. And then there was selecting the horrific Muslim Brotherhood as a partner for peace in Egypt (didn't work), and Obama's gross miscalculation in Syria that internal conflict could be contained within that country's borders (it wasn't).
