Friend of the program Paul Robidoux breaks the news that Matt Campbell is interviewing with the New York Jets and then 5-0 Des Moines Sergeant Paul Parizek stops in to chat with the guys. To end the hour the guys talk Iowa basketball, the New York Mets making moves, Tommy Lasorda's passing and to finish the show the guys give their predictions on the National Championship Game.
Sean Roberts and Erick Zamora start the show off giving their thoughts on the action this week at the nation's Capitol, talk a little politics and compare the situation to other's in the country's history. Then switching to sports they get into Z's 3 which includes the newest players on the Des Moines Buccaneers and the Bucs last game at Wells Fargo Arena tonight, the NHL season starting Wednesday and Zamora's Friday night off playing poker. In hour two Roberts and Zamora go heavily on Iowa State in the second hour breaking down the Fiesta Bowl and specifically Oregon because we haven't seen much of the Ducks this year. The question gets brought up does Brock Purdy choke in big games and the guys ask that to Jared Stansbury and more in his ISU preview from Arizona. The guys chat more Pac-12 football and skim the surface of Iowa State hosting number 2 ranked Baylor in basketball before giving their college football bowl game predicitions.
