Now in it's XXth? year, Gordie Adams' Gordcast covers music, comic books, movies, television, memories, nostalgia, current events and whatever else comes up in conversations with friends and sometimes in an informal interview with someone Gordie wants to know more about. Fellow aficionado Paul Bertolino joined as co-host of the Gordcast for the majority of episodes and along the way, Gordie welcomed a roster of special guests. After a hiatus he is back and invites you to hang out with the Gordcast for entertaining conversation and good company. Join us and have fun!

GORDIE repeats stories he's told before, loves EVELYN TOGAR more than THE VELVET UNDERGROUND and since he shares a brain with WILL alot of the time, this episode goes on for awhile. GORDIE finally welcomes ZACK KRUSE to The Gordcast. 15 years seperate our heroes, but that makes no difference in a lively and educational conversation.
ZACK hosts a radio show, snags his mom's copy of IT, peeks at ROBO-COP through a hallway, becomes a leading authority on STEVE DITKO and wasn't that scared of monsters. GORDIE was scared of KING KONG when it was shown at a church, borrowed a projector from the library, went to an Olive Garden once and imagines Nudy suits while listening to THE MUTANT GRAVEYARD.
LOTS of monster kid conversation and nerdy music/music talk and a very healthy dose of MST 3K.
PETER "BULLDOG" DRUMMOND is back to talk mostly about The Book Of Boba Fett on Disney+. This episode is the least evergreen for sure. After talking MEN WITHOUT HATS and pogoing to ROB ZOMBIE, we settle in for a long and spoilerific conversation about STAR WARS and BOBA. We try to define, fan service, canon, head canon, what makes us happy, what makes us dissapointed, homages and we don't get in a virtual fist-fight.

AUDRA WOLFMAN and BRETT STILLO are back and together we do a 2021 year end wrap up. The main focus is AUDRA and BRETT's Christmas trip to the world famous MADONNA INN in San Luis Obispo.
We talk about other roadside attractions, getting back in the real world, meeting IRL, SNOOPY and The Red Baron, school of rock teaching, AMOEBA records, 8Tracks, vinyl collectors, dressing up for the holidays and stick around after the outro song to hear our favorite NEW YEARS memories.
PETER 'Bulldog" DRUMMOND has checked back in to the GORDCAST and we are talking DUNE! We begin with some leftovers from episode 108. Peter's just not that into horror movies, tried to fit in as a kid and digs black and white over color at times. We settle in and talk about both the film and the book DUNE. GORDIE and THEA sit down on the actual New Years Day to have a low-key, simple conversation of years gone by and years ahead.

Ruth remembers waking up Christmas morning with a fully decorated tree, confuses "Special Olympics" with "Cub Scout Olympics" and goes for a walk in the sunshine.

Gordie and Paul meet up with Bridget in Napa for a Gordcast All-Stars summit. Bridget fails to wear her ever-present Ugg boots, has a bit to learn about bears and reveals that she has a little something in common with Joanie. Gordie's gotta hand it to Lady Gaga, does not feel that Leather Tuscadero is butch, and is a much bigger fan of Filter than anyone had bargained for. Paul had a mustache in Jr High, makes sure KISS gets an honorable mention, and clears up that Alice Cooper rumor.
Gordie and Paul rap about Christmas memories and traditions over the years. Gordie receives a Papercut in the mail and enjoys The Boys, while sick in bed. Paul finds twenty bucks and has his KISS sleeping-bag defiled at a sleep over. The two of them discuss the Tauntaun sleeping bag, a Millenium Falcon bed and being sick around Christmas. Gordie's mom plays The Lord's Prayer backwards and we end up off topic with Metal.
Gordie is joined by Thea Gilien. Thea doesn't ride Horses anymore, kinda explains about Hurling and tells what it's like spending Thanksgiving in Ireland. Gordie skateboards in the newly built skatepark, has been to more Disneyland's (around the world) than Thea and they both admit Sting is never going to be as good as when The Police reigned over the world.

Gordie and Paul meet up in Napa once again, this time touring the lovely Bel-Aire neighborhood. They start out lounging on the grass at Bel-Aire Elementary school and end up on Yuppie-watch outside a nearby Peet's coffee. We learn of grade school crushes and fave Monkees tunes. Gordie joins the Cussing Club, Paul has some trouble getting a library card and both reveal their past lives of crime. Do NOT leave these men alone with your valuables!
Bridget is back, from the banks of the Wahilasanto river on her lunch break. Gordie does not read USA Today, reveals his celebrity girlfriend and has his soul saved.
Bridget goes to court with Michael Jackson, helps jocks with book reports and looses Russians. They both spend way to much time on feminine hygiene products and just don't get Hooters.
The great experiment in Gordcast land. Paul Bertolino joins Gordie at the Roasting Company to hang out and document the roasting process. Tony Rabin shows up unannounced to join in on the fun.
Paul finally finds a current TV show he likes, Tony is mistaken for Trevor Rabin, explains Gumby to his wife and Gordie ruins coffee for quality control. Tom Beland is back for a long awaited and much delayed episode. Gordie explains what the R.F.D. stands for in the old Andy Griffith show, doesn't lock his car and re-visits The Death Of Gwen Stacy (yet again.) Tom forges a friendship with his old mail carrier waiting for F.O.O.M. to arrive, wears Spider-man shirts, rants about Napa bookstores (...and their wine-centric displays) and explains how Star Trek is far superior to Star Wars.
Paul Bertolino is guest editor for the first on-location episode of Gordcast where Gordie and Paul meet in downtown Napa. They wander around with a laptop and a camera, checking out what little is left of their hometown, before settling on a shady place where the infamous clock tower once stood. An old friend happens by for an unplanned cameo. We learn that Gordie doesn't like cats, Paul doesn't like dogs and neither of them like Sting. What more could you ask for?
Gordie and Paul talk about 70's Television, collecting toys and other crap in the 90's and how awesome Susan Boyle is. Gordie tells of Saint Helena wildlife and finally getting the answer to the name of that record store downtown. Paul relaxes on the Berkeley campus and waxes rhapsodic about the M.A.S.H theme song.

Bridget Hines triumphantly returns, telling stories of ways to poison yourself internally and externally, raising her little Omen child properly and scraping ice off her windshield with a LEGO. Gordie remembers the wooden spoon as punishment, an old 16mm religious/circus film ("Parable" ~ 1964) and has a hard time with Bridget's last name.
Paul Bertolino is back from Paris, France and he tells of cemetery flashers at Jim Morrison's grave, his burial preference and that he likes two U2 songs. Gordie admits that he isn't exactly sure where Puerto Rico is on a map.
