"Bro Have You Seen?" is a weekly podcast where two brothers take turns picking a movie for in-depth discussion. Both of us are huge movie fans! We love all kinds of movies, from indie darlings to Hollywood Blockbusters! We will do our best to cover all aspects of filmmaking, provide interesting trivia, and explain why we love a particular movie.
We know that anyone looking to discover new movies can find something worth checking out, and even people with knowledge of a certain film can learn new things about its production, cast, technical aspects, and themes.
Don't worry about spoilers! We will give plenty of warning before we talk about the ending. And stay tuned to the end where we ask each other, "Bro, what else is entertaining you this week?"
In like fashion with previous months, we did a Top List episode. Following the trend of doing decade picks, we discussed our respective 8 favorite films from the 1980s. Our first ever time discussing a director for the second time, Edward Yang. We previously discussed Yi Yi, and are now diving into his earlier film that might be even more highly praised. However, there's some dissension! Which one of us do you agree with?
SPOILER ALERT We figured this movie has been so well-covered and seen by so many people that we didn't bother with a non-spoiler segment at the beginning. If you've seen the film, go ahead and listen! If not, go see the film immediately and come back to this! It's a great movie and one of Everett's all-time favorites. Enjoy!

This week is our Harold and Maude-Pod where we discuss Hal Ashby's 1971 feature which helped establish The New Hollywood of the 1970s with his countercultural style and vision. This week we discuss one of our all-time favorite movies: Damien Chazelle's award-winning musical: La La Land! This movie is so good that it won best picture for about 30 seconds before they gave the award to Barry Jenkins' Moonlight.
