God grants us talents based on our abilities. We have to move at once to become a good and faithful servant. Matthew 25:14-30

Have faith in God. This is a simple yet powerful way to live. For with God nothing is impossible.
God has called us to a live a life of success. However as seen in Joshua 1:8, we have to study and meditate on His word and be in alignment for His will and plan for our lives.
This season, God is calling us back to focus on the foundational truth of our faith. Just like the day of pentecost and with story of the virgins, we will need to tarry and be ready for the appointed time of God's visitation.
As for me and my household, the Lord will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth, and I shall know it.
He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert in Jesus’ name, Amen.
A lame man from birth was taken to the temple gate called Beautiful, to beg everyday until he had an encounter with Peter and John that changed his life forever.
As parents we sometimes need to put a child into time out. Not out of spite or to make the child sad but to make it a teachable moment. So is the case with God when he puts us in naughty corner. He wants to teach us to grow.
We renew our strength by waiting on God because in his presence is fullness of joy which gives us strength.
God says in his word "“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
So let's come forward to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy
God calls us to see the new thing he is doing in our lives. Are we paying attention or are we distracted by our worries and cares?
Job 14:14 - If a man die, shall he alive again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
Are we ready to wait for our change to come?
John 11:1-43 tells of the story of the death and resurrection of Lazarus by Jesus. It's a story of obedience, trust, faith, love and life which is appropriate as we celebrate Easter

It's important to understand the different types of pain, so we don't always ascribe it to the devil. Sometimes God permits us to go through pain as a test and other times we cause it for ourselves. Understanding pain, enables us address it effectively.
The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. However are we willing to let go of our old treasures to make room for the new and hidden? Matthew 13:44
Psalm 104:4 - He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants. God tries us with fire to purify us but we do have to surrender our hearts to him.
For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it. Proverbs 2: 21-22

We are wonderfully and fearfully made. God has deposited gifts in each of us and it's up to use to find, identify, and use them for his glory.
As believer's we all will experience the King’s prison. Just like Joseph, it's a place for divine connection, to build divine capacity and be catapulted to the where God have destined us to be that we may fulfill purpose.
We're encouraged not to worry about anything. If God take care of the birds of the air and animals of the field, how much more we His children.
God is ready to complete His work in our lives but we're cautioned to beware not to forget that it's not us -- our ability or talent but God's grace and blessings.

We are in the world but not of it and so we must resist the current that by default favors the flesh over the spirit.

This Sunday at King's Arena we were encouraged by Deacon Wilson Olayinka on the importance of thinking and how crucial it is in our attainment and being -- after all, as a man thinketh so he is (Prov 23:7).
We were also told by visiting Preacher, Pastor Gbadebo on how 2018 is a year of choices (Deuteronomy 30:19). Let's be sensitive to the Holy Spirit as we make the right choice as well as avoiding wrong ones as inspired by the enemy.
