We are on unexpected hiatus until December 29! Technical woe combined with scheduling conflicts have conspired against Kay and Taz. Our plan to record ahead to get through the holidays, like most Farscape plans, crashed and burned.
Kay and Taz talk about a relatively harmless Farscape episode where the crew eats some bad food and ends up having to make a pit stop from hell. Rygel gets encased in amber, the girls touch vomit and John just wants off the rock.
After having just escaped Gayza, John has to return to her clutches in order to save everyone else. Meanwhile, Chiana, Jool and the old woman have to escape from prison while D'argo and Sikozu make plans.

When Pilot is fed up with John and D'argo's bickering, he kicks the crew off Moya for an extended vacation on a pleasure planet that has a more than passing resemblance to Vegas. Dancing, drugs, and a seedy underbelly soon ensnare Chiana and Jool, while D'argo and John get roofied and robbed before getting their Ocean's 11 on, in one of the season's fun and creative episodes.
Talyn resists a sun's siren song and the rest of the crew resist their fight or flight responses to a leaking gas. A low key monster of the week episode is given a pop of interest with humor.

Taz and Kay enjoy the relative quietness of this episode as the effects of "Nerve" and "The Hidden Memory" shake out.
John endures the torture of Scorpius's Aurora Chair, while Aeryn and Gilina team up to rescue their damsel in distress. Kay and Taz are in love with Aeryn and her epic showdown with Crais and discuss the culmination of a number of storylines in one of the best episodes of the season.
Aeryn's health deteriorates after being stabbed at the end of the last episode and the crew rushes to find a solution on a secret Gammak base. Kay and Taz are super excited about the show's new villain - Scorpius . They also discuss the arc of Aeryn and D'argo's friendship.
John and Aeryn pose as Peacekeepers to fool a commando crew that comes aboard Moya. While everyone else is pretending to be prisoners, Chiana and Rygel release a sentient virus and tensions grow between real Peacekeepers, fake Peacekeepers and a crew unwilling to be imprisoned again.
Moya's split into 4 parts in one of the best bottle episodes ever aired on TV. We deal with Hynerian drinking songs, Chiana's place on the crew and why Aeryn's the best at (field tested battle) tech.
Kay and Taz read a couple of letters from fans and discuss cool theories about John's attitude in Jeremiah Crichton and Zhaan's role in Salas' death in Durka Returns.
John gets a chance to go home when a wormhole shows up near Moya. However, once he's there, he's stuck with government coverups, his friends treated as enemies and an uncertain relationship with his dad. Kay and Taz review A Human Reaction.
Rygel faces a nemesis and we meet the Nebari - a frightening race that controls the minds of their enemies and population. Kay and Taz are excited that Chiana is finally on the show.
When John gets left behind after an emergency starburst, the crew spends a quarter arn searching for him. They find him in the middle of a love triangle on a planet where technology doesn't work. Kay and Taz discuss what's commonly considered one of the worst episodes in Farscape's run.
After the crew experiences similar dreams, Moya starbursts to a new Delvian colony. Zhaan must face the past and make a terrible decision about her future. Meanwhile, the Delvian priests play mind games with the rest of the crew.
While teaching John to drive, Aeryn and he get stuck in a space net called "the Flax". D'argo and an ex-pirate go into the Flax looking for them while Rygel gambles with the captain in charge of the Flax. Kay and Taz discuss UST, Rygel's canniness and D'argo's connection to ancient Luxan ships.
John and Aeryn get trapped in a one horse town with bounty hunters out for the crew's blood. In Farscape's version of a western, D'argo and John finally work out some of their issues and the best side character is introduced.
After an explosion caused by D'argo's removal of PK tech, Moya begins cutting the crew off from resources they need to survive. While the crew is trying to solve the situation, D'argo is haunted by his past. Taz and Kay discuss how this is one of Farscape's quieter episodes, but how it delivers some powerful punches.
Farscape does moral relativism. With the chance of going home, Zhaan, D'argo and Rygel go down a Heart of Darkness path to decide who will go home first. Meanwhile, Aeryn and John deal with an evil scientist who uses DNA to make himself better. Kay and Taz discuss the darkest episode of the first season.
John and Crais get the confrontation that both are looking for after a wizard brings them both into a dream world of his making. Meanwhile, Zhaan uses her darker side to try to take down the wizard Maldis. Taz and Kay discuss the Farscape episode that wraps up a couple loose ends while engaging with some darker themes.

After D'argo leaves the ship in the middle of a hyper-rage, the crew goes searching and finds him living a blissed out life as a farmer. Kay and Taz discuss Aeryn going out of her comfort zone as a scientist, D'argo and Zhan as possible lovers and the really sad rebellion on this PK controlled planet.
John Crichton becomes unstuck in time and must save the crew from an evil villain with wormhole tech. We discuss the sci fi time travel trope and sexy villainesses. We also discuss how long the crew let John wander around without a shower before forcing him to take one.
After presenting himself as un-deposed royalty, Rygel is kidnapped and the crew must work together to save him. Kay and Taz discuss Aeryn and D'argo's budding friendship and Zhaan's "just say no" approach to drug use.
Space cockroaches turn Moya into a sauna and the crew must figure out how to get rid of them before the heat permanently injures Aeryn or Moya. Taz and Kay discuss Rygel's political skills, teeth cleaning in space and whether Peacekeepers are the old white guy in the office that keeps the AC too cold.
Kay and Taz discuss the episode I E.T. and talk about how important this episode is for relationships in the crew and how John is very manipulative in most of his plans. We also discuss Zhan and Rygel's relationship as well as Aeryn and D'argo bonding over how much they hate each other.
NOTE: On Netflix, this episode comes 7th, however, by episode number it's second. We're going by episode number because it makes a lot more sense in the character arcs.
