So this whole cancel culture thing has gotten a wee bit out of control, the latest victim being everyone's favorite cartoon skunk Pepe Le Pew. Really...a cartoon skunk, on that note Im calling for the cancelling of cancel culture ( lol ) I just feel like there are more productive things we can be doing beyond boycotting an old cartoon skunk.
I didn't want to do it...but since there seems to be a great deal of confusion around the matter I figured I'd do my best to provide some clarity. In this weeks episode I tackle the Vaccine debate...to poke or not to poke that is the question?

Mommy's on Onlyfans, blind folk going sight seeing all this and more on this weeks episode.
So apparently there is a chicken war going on and Mc Donald’s is deep in the trenches. They have resorted to chicken sandwich hoodies, my guess is to gain some sort of merchandising edge. We discuss this and more in this weeks episode.
The dangers of sleeping while driving, apparently you can end up in a ditch getting cut out of your car with a handy dandy jaws of life. In this weeks episode thoughts on the true cause of Tiger's crash and more!
Apparently my friends did not appreciate my carefree approach to life, or felt it was not sustainable at the very least. Tune in this week as we discuss the pros and cons of an unbothered lifestyle.
We have a real life Ocean's Isle 11 on our hands, somehow a grocery store employee was able to steal nearly a million dollars from the store. Apparently this was all possible because the guy that checks receipts was on vacation, tune in this week as we discuss who is at fault here the thief of the lackadaisical security?
You can't build the best team if you only have the best individual players, it's like an army full of only snipers. Balance in all things in this episode we jump down the basketball rabbit hole and discuss the recent movement in the NBA.
Who asked for this!? At what point did the smart people decide we needed to invest time and energy in robotic rhythm. What programmer got cut from so many cheer squads that they decided...hey I'll build my own team smh. We have seen this before people we don't need to give the toaster feelings and we don't need tootsie rollin robots.
Do we need haters on our journey to success? It would seem at the very least they need us in their pursuit of haterism. Tune in this week as I discuss the hater ecosystem and the role they play in your journey to greatness.
Welp we made it back after a brief hiatus to tend to some holiday responsibilities, and of all the things to talk about we decided to go with things you can't do smh. Thats right laws, apparently the new year not only brings resolutions but also restrictions. Enjoy this years debut episode as we weigh the pros and cons of the new do's and don'ts.
As the year nears it's end (FINALLY!) so does season 2 of HaH. Join us as we attempt reflect on the uniquely terrible year that was 2020, along with a few other years because we couldn't stomach focusing on 2020 alone.
You can't have good D and be successful or so Ive been told. Tune in this week as we discuss the effects of domestication, professional success, and bedroom performance. Somethings gotta give and it's often your prowess between the sheets.
This one is for my ol heads (age range may vary), there is no process in life more counter intuitive than aging. Especially for men, as our minds get sharper our bodies can become more unreliable. Tune in this week as I attempt to tackle old age with some creative math.
Just when you thought quarantine couldn't get any worse your favorite show gets cancelled mid pandemic! Don't they know we are in lockdown, what am I suppose to watch now? Tune in this week as we discuss the streaming struggle, shows getting cancelled with no notice or season finale.
There has been a great deal of discussion revolving around 'defund the police' is the title too aggressive, should that even matter if the policies are just. Tune in this week as I attempt to sort through the defund the police debate.
Is a good deed truly a good deed if you expect something in return, even if all you expect in return is a certain reaction? I would venture to say no, at best it's a favor or some kind of emotional bargain. Either way tune in this week as we discuss the true motivation behind your average recreational act of kindness.
The new studio set up is worthy of a celebration in my opinion. It's all about those small victories especially during this year we have all had.
Welp I managed to find myself in front of pile of green bean casserole this thanksgiving, and it was quite the experience. Discussed the upcoming holidays and proper gift giving protocol for children. Also found myself in a random hot chocolate debate, tune in this weeks for this holidayish themed episode.
The holidays are fast approaching and with them holiday meals, and somehow with that comes debates of hierarchy revolving which holiday foods are not only most important but allowed to be included. In this episode we discuss some of the most popular holiday dishes as well as some un popular ones, tune in as we dive into a few holiday menus.
This is a special one for a lot of reasons mostly because I got to chat at length with one of my favorite people, they also happened to be the first professional guest on the show. Tune in this week as I talk with my brother (real life cousin), comedian Lyall Behrens we cover everything from childhood memories to the recording process for his recent debut comedy album.
Tattoo shops finally open back up so I can finally finish up my back. Tune in this week as we discuss the massive delay my tattoo journey endured, tattoo pain, and much more.
Communication is key especially in the kitchen, I mean meals are at stake here. Poor kitchen communication can result in under seasoned food (the paper chicken effect), over seasoned food (the this tastes like a heart attack syndrome), or worst of all chicken so clean it is no longer safe to eat. Tune in this episode as we attempt to navigate the treacherous terrain of the modern kitchen.
Have you ever ended up at a party you weren't invited to, start looking around and realize "hmm I don't know anyone here". Thats effectively what happened to me while driving to the grocery store. There I was minding my own business on my way to pick up some veggies, when the next thing I know Im surrounded by Maga hats and Trump flags. Tune in this week as we discuss my impromptu encounter with a full on Trump convoy...lets just say the circus was in town and in rare form.
Does racism have a color, is there a certain tax bracket one must reach in order to be officially racist? Is being a racist about power or is it simply about hate and individual acts? In this weeks episode I dive into the prerequisites for racism and and or being racist, join me as I unpack the differences between racism and oppression. The two work together but are not mutually exclusive and can exists independent of one another.
Being lazy is bad in general however, it's an occupational hazard if you are in the business of stealing information. I had an interesting encounter with what I can only call an unusually lazy hacker and my Amazon account. Tune in this week to see what virtual shenanigans are a foot.
Without fail every time I think Ive had the worst possible customer experience some creative lazy individual comes along and breaks new ground. In this episode we discuss the lost art of customer service or whats left of it.
Cheater never prosper unless of course they don't get caught, then they are just sound strategist. It's happened to all of us and been committed by most of us, a good old fashion entanglement. Who is at fault, who cheats more, whats the worse way to find out cheating is taking place? We tackle this and more in this weeks episode of HaH.
Jonathan Price was a beloved man in his community. An excellent example of what any good citizen should be and do. Officer Shaun Lucas killed him. What now?
It's been another rollercoaster of a week out here in 2020. Start your day in a light hearted chat that sways from topic to topic, hence Maximum Distractions - Debate, COVID, Stimulus, Russia, Postal Service, Who Profits?!?, Daniel Tosh? Like I say, "People enjoy the ride as long as they get to the destination." I'll let you decide if we ever get where we are going. Enjoy this casual cruise into Monday morning and we'll get more serious later this week.
I recorded these thoughts a couple weeks ago after the Breonna Taylor settlement was announced. There has since been more important developments to unpack, but take a quick listen to what I refer to as another installment of "Pancake Justice and Animations Reparations". I think I make a couple solid points and invite you to stay focused and keep in pursuit of the bigger mission of equality in America.
Mama we made it!! lol season one is a wrap, and unlike like my scattered retail career I actually plan to come back. This episode we discuss the pros and cons of the two week notice, I personally see no benefit to the employee seems like it was created simply to allow the employer to prepare for your exit. I feel like the employer should receive the same amount of notice they would give the employee if they were going to fire them. That said I may be a bit biased having only actually submitted 2 weeks notice once in my entire employment career.
Whats going on your final playlist, do you go the emotional route with a bunch of heart felt ballads, or do you go the celebrate life route and try to get everyone to electric slide they're sorrows away. I suppose you go the angry route and play a bunch of dis tracks from the grave, it's your final going away party I say play whatever tunes you want. In this episode we discuss the sonic responsibility of planning ones final playlist, and go over a few of our personal favorite choices.
These two things are not the same, Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back because he was suspected to have a weapon in his car. Kyle Rittenhohuse walked down the street after shooting 3 people (2 of which died) brandishing an assault rifle across his chest and not only were no shots fired but he was effectively ignored by the police, allowed to return home, not being brought into custody until the next day. This was the same department that shot and maimed Jacob Blake only 2 days prior. In this episode I discuss how the treatment of black people is consistently inconsistent compared to that of white, time and time again black people are beaten, shot, and killed for being suspected of a crime. Meanwhile white people that have actually committed violent crimes (such as school shootings, church shooting, assaulting peaceful protesters just to name a few) are consistently apprehended peacefully often even provided refreshments.....the hypocrisy!
How is Covid-19 effecting the dating scene is quarantine conducive for building a healthy relationship. Where do you go, most date style business and or locations are still shutdown. Can you really connect with someone over a zoom meeting, will Facetime and chill become a thing? In this episode we discuss the unique landscape Covid-19 and social distancing has created for single folks in the dating world.
During the perils of parenting you are faced with all sorts of tough decisions and situations however, I was told there'd be no math! In this bonus episode I discuss the importance of parental math when choosing supervision and how a slight miscalculation on my part almost resulted goldfish homicide.

Once again we have a band-aid solution to a hemorrhaging problem, it broke sometime ago on the internet that the traditional ice cream truck melody is derived from a racist song "Turkey and the Straw". Consistent with previous efforts to right the wrongs of breakfast condiments and cartoons, a new song was whipped right up by hip-hops own The Rza. In this episode Marcus joins me to discuss this latest development in lateral justice and his disappointment with the new jingle.
A few days ago I found myself with an acute case of onset hater-itis, it took siege of my thoughts and had me mad at two things I otherwise enjoy hoopin and hip-hop. Fortunately the condition did not last long, thanks to a little investigation and reflection (don't hate investigate). In this episode I discuss how easy it is to catch a case of hater-itis and some of the methods I use to treat the aliment.
There is no journey more emotionally treacherous than that of raising a child, with every generation getting a bit more creative and effective and pushing the parental psyche to it's limits. No matter who you are if you have children you will be tested, from cafeteria workers to Kung fu masters nobody is safe. In this episode I discuss the pros an cons of responding to these tests with physical discipline and how no matter what you position is on the matter your children are capable of making you become a full on supporter in the blink of an eye.
The old saying it is better to teach a man to fish than to give them one meal, for learning how to fish can feed them for a lifetime while a meal only a moment. This idea holds true with financial assistance as well, generally just giving people money is a band aid solution at best. Look at the lottery for example roughly 70% of winners end up filing for bankruptcy within a few years. In my opinion closing the wealth gap is a similar situation in that simply giving poor people a lump some of money won't solve the problem. It's more about providing tools to generate wealth, rather than gifting riches. In this episode we discuss the possible consequences for how the government has handled providing aid in the past ie... unemployment/stimulus checks.
Spending money to save money on spending money, good ol health insurance making sure you can afford to be sick. Insurance health or otherwise is like buying a Costco card you never use, the idea that the monthly fee payed is only good for the ability to to say 'yep i have insurance' is absurd. You pay to have the insurance and to use it what a racket! In this episode I vent about Health insurance and it's many inefficiencies along with the unique challenges this years NBA season will bring.
Bad science and discount goldfish with multiple day release protocol. In this episode we discuss how medical resources are wasted for recreational pet information and the extreme standards some stores have for purchasing goldfish. If nothing else I learned why the goldfish I'd win at the fair as child never last more than a few days, apparently there is very specific process required for transferring .79$ fish into domestic tanks, who knew.
There is a question that has been floating around the internet, regarding a certain Sean Carter, a dinner engagement, and or a possible large financial donation. Now unless this is a gameshow style dinner where they bring out prizes with the entrees this seems like a bit of a no brainer. You can't pay rent with leftovers and not everybody likes to chat while they eat. In this weeks episode we attempt to justify why any bill paying adult would possibly take a single meal over cold hard cash....keeping in mind the cash can be used to buy dinner smh.
One of the most frustrating things about this pandemic is the ridged approach at which people seem to be processing information. Either you don't believe the virus exists at all and your scheduling free hug parties or you believe the virus is part of some terrible horror film and anyone that goes outside will die in 7 days. What happened to our critical thinking skills, I know adulting is hard but in this case there are only a few things we know for sure work so why not just do them. In this episode I challenge listeners to take a step back, woosaa and think critically, in these trying and uncertain times one of the most valuable commodities is common sense.
There is nothing worse than being back on lockdown, hoping on a zoom call with the homies only to hear one of them say "man I don't see what the big deal is, slavery was so long ago" or "systemic racism isn't real, a system can't be racist". Not my homie, not the same person I use to share a juice box with, not the same person I use to swap sneakers with!? How could this happen how could we have spent so much time together over the years and yet still end up so far apart on these types of issues. In this episode with the help of a special guest (Craig) we try to determine how the thin line between racism and ignorance, can effect long term friendships.
"An entanglement!?" Nobody wants to hear their significant other describe a relationship they had with someone else as tangled in any way. Im still not clear on what all an entanglement entails, I do know that whatever it is it's far beyond platonic. That said we have all been in a situation in a relationship where someone needs 'space' or to 'take a break' but what does that mean exactly, what is the statue of limitation on these relationship recesses. In this episode I try to detangle the rules and regulations for 'breaks' and the real motivation behind them.

Sigh...I am so very tired of Mr. West, outburst, after mistruths followed by Black history slander for starters. This man is a walking talking distraction who thrives on attention. Nearly every outburst he's ever had is followed up with a plea for forgiveness and some sort of product release, it's almost as if it's standard operating procedure. Say something crazy, apologize citing some vague mental illness as the cause then hit us with the new gospel single and t-shirt that looks like somebody put through a blender. We enable this behavior with misconception that skill in one area will translate to another, simply because Kanye is great artist doesn't mean he will be a great politician, same goes in reverse I love me some Obama but he is far from the first person I'd call to produce my mixtape. At the end of the day distractions are gonna distract thats what they do, it's one us as a society to stop paying attention and giving them life. Similar to the getting kids back to school debate we are arguing over the wrong things, now more than ever it is important to remain focused, plan, and act. In this episode I attempt to vanquish the attention gremlin that is Ye, while also sharing some perspective on the school situation.
The average Black family wealth is roughly $140k vs that of a White which is about 920k. Essentially what that means is white family wealth is about seven times greater than black family wealth. This divide has been growing since the 60's due to several factors, a large one being Black do not often own the homes they live in. One of the best mechanism to grow wealth is owning a home, it's an asset you can pass down vs renting which is essentially setting money on fire. In this episode I discuss the a possible solution to the ethnic wealth gap, provide every Black household in America a Deed to a house free and clear. Call it reparations, call it houses for homies, call it whatever you want, bottom line this would take huge steps towards closing that gap.
Sigh the ever popular mask debate, which I personally don't see as a debate people are confusing politics with medicine, you can't debate facts. If only the United States took the same stance on negotiating with Karen's as it does with terrorists we might not be going back into lockdown. In this episode I cover my solution to the mask debates, if you can't smoke there wear a mask! It's really that simple, no matter what your position is on smoking you don't see people lighting up in the middle of Target claiming it's their constitutional right to smoke. This is because we as a society accepted the science of second hand smoke and created laws/policies around these facts, Covid-19 and or mask wearing should be handled the same way.
The distractions are out in rare form for July, we kicked the month off with Kanye pretending to run for president (no party or paperwork filed), sounds more like a run for headlines to me? If that weren't bad enough we've got Terry Crews warning people against the possibility that black lives matter may somehow turn into a black supremacy group, really supremacy before equality there are levels to this! In this episode I try to work through the mental wrong turn at Albuquerque that result in this optimistic at best concern.
It seems you really do learn something new everyday, I found out in this episode Father and Baby Daddy are essentially the same thing, "A father is someone who believes that by donating his sperm for your creation, he has done his duty in life." who knew. Upon doing some internet research I found, either the internet does not hold the term Father in very high regard or all the information written on the subject was done so by disgruntled step dads. Nobody has ever asked for Daddily advice so why so much shade thrown at the Fathers? Either way the explanation I found was far from what I anticipated, in this episode I discuss the difference between Fathers/Dads and difference between my opinion and the internets.
There is nothing more unsettling than being accosted by an inappropriate conversation in the middle of an attempt at adulting. They can be treacherous to navigate filled with awkward innuendoes and unnecessary N-bombs, is this the price of change? Also I wish I knew why a stroller full of children seems to be an invitation to 'please share with me your views on the racial climate in America'? The days of walking your children in peace are clearly long gone with all the 'woke' adults nobody cares if the children are sleeping. Enjoy a couple of unique conversations I found myself in as a result of some ill time wokeness and unusual comfort with racial slurs.
The struggle is real for Black people in America, it's difficult to simply maintain ones train of thought without being bombarded by some new tragedy almost daily. I intended on discussing how difficult it is for the parents of victims such a Breonna Taylor, to not only deal with the loss of a child but the birth of a movement. Being a new parent myself every time I hear a story I always find myself having the thought 'thats someones child' however, that thought was interrupted by news of another tragedy involving a mentally ill Black women who was tased to death by the police. The amount of injustice taking place against Black people combined with the internets ability to inform of said injustices can caused a feeling of inadequacy in ones actions. At least it did for me, causing me to ultimately talk about the importance of taking action and the many forms that can take. Educating ones self is only half the battle, ensuring the new found info is applied in real time is just as important otherwise you may as well be a Jeopardy contestant.....
Frugal or cheap, come in with a plan or TIP in the moment. To Ensure Prompt service, should the amount given directly reflect the level of service received? How about a video game life gauge where for each mistake made they lose a percentage of life/TIP, too many mistakes and you just get a piece of paper that says 'game over' at the end of the meal. That last one would certainly inspire a sense of urgency, no time like the end of a meal to start passing out public life lessons. Get all the social financial advice you could ever need and so much more in this weeks episode.
Is it necessary to educate oneself on the history of a holiday prior to wishing someone enjoyment of said holiday? I was asked how I felt about 'non-blacks' saying happy Juneteenth, which was not an issue that ever entered my mind. It seems there are some who feel in order to say 'happy insert holiday here' you must be fully knowledgeable of the holiday and it's history. I on the other hand feel like a greeting is not an open invitation to a 'wokeness' test.
Trump gets hacked, black card info leaked, citizens go on Amazon shopping spree. If only there were a hand held device, connected to the internet, with applications that would allow one to manage such a catastrophe. Unfortunately the President handled this with the same speed and accuracy he has this pandemic, allowing the internet plenty of time to shop at their leisure. While the list of the Presidents short comings is about as long as a Pandemic grocery line he is not alone in his tech ineptitude. Several in his....age group fail to grasp basic functionality of standard devices. Why the disconnect...I try to sort it all out in this episode.
Venting about Vegans in hopes of putting an end to food shaming everywhere. Ive admittedly only had a handful of interactions with these folks but everyone Ive had has been aggressive to say the least. Just trying to figure out why so agro.....and possibly get some healthy eating tips!
