Put your hope in God. Do not put your hope in objects that have been promised to heal you if you buy them and have them sent to you. There is no Godly power in the possession of such objects. Instead of buying an object to give you healing. Turn your heart to the healer Himself. We do not need to pay for God’s grace and healing power. Turn your heart to Him and He will never leave or forsake you.

Faith is important when it comes to healing. How did the man express faith to be healed. By simply responding by taking Peter’s hand when he went to help him up. Peter did not pray for him or anoint him. All he did was reach out his hand and lift the man up. Unfortunately, people (Christians) judge one another and judge their faith. Who are we to judge another person’s faith. We should never condemn their faith. We should examine our own faith.

We used to be slaves to sin and now are set free from sin and its penalty. We are now slaves to Righteousness. In spite of our sins, we are forgiven. We have grace by the sacrifice of Jesus at the cross. We know that the wages of sin is death. But we have the gift from God that is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Why does the Father need to draw us to Christ? Why does he need to draw us to salvation? The simple answer is that if he did not draw us, we would not come because we would not have the ability or desire to come to him. The Father MUST intervene for salvation to take place.

Jesus was somewhat limited when he was on the earth. If you wanted to see Jesus, you had to go where he was. Now He is available to all people. He is no longer limited. That is why He could say we would do greater things. Now more can be accomplished since he is indwelling in every Christian. You and I make Jesus available to anyone we come into contact with.

Only in Christ is the veil of unbelief removed from the eyes of the unbeliever. Once you acknowledge Jesus as your Savior, the veil will be removed and you will truly understand.

We should never take Communion for granted and should not take it lightly. We should take Communion in remembrance of what Christ accomplished on our behalf. Our communion service is offered to all believers. If you believe, you are free to participate in our Communion service.

You need to experience the LORD to see how good He is. It is when YOU experience Him that You will KNOW how good He is and you will be blessed when you take refuge in Him. I can tell you how wonderful and good He is but until you experience Him, you will not really know the wonders of His goodness.

God wants us to always to be in an attitude of confession. When we sin, we come to God with assurance that He will forgive our sins. Before we confess our sins to God, we need to go to those we sinned against and ask for their forgiveness first. Then, we can go to God to ask for His forgiveness.

When you speak the truth of God's Word, the Spirit is the one who brings understanding. It is the Spirit who brings conviction. It is the Spirit who changes the heart. It is not you but God. We should never convince ourselves that we are of no use to the Kingdom adn we don't have anything of value to offer. God is the one who has shaped you into the person you are today. He has accomplished much in you. That IS valuable and WORTH sharing with the world.

God loves us very much and did not want to continue a broken relationship with us. He, Jesus, was the Lamb slain before the foundations of the world. This didn’t just happen at the last moment. It didn’t happen when Adam and Eve sinned. It was planned well before this time. Jesus Christ created everything and the decision was made that He would become one of us, human while maintaining his full Deity.

True happiness can ONLY be found in God. People are trying to find happiness in everything aside from God and they are coming up empty. They discover that happiness is not found in anything that is offered on this earth. It is futile to believe we can find happiness outside of a relationship with God.

Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Jesus does not look like the invisible God because God is invisible. Jesus has the same nature, conduct, and actions of the Father. This is what it means when scriptures say that Jesus is in the very image of the invisible God.

We accept Christ as our Savior but He is available to all and most do not recognize Him or come to Him for Salvation. It was not just Israel who missed the Salvation of the world. There are many who are Gentiles that miss Him as well. He is available to all who will acknowledge Him as the Christ, the risen Savior of the world.

We live in a culture who believes that if they dream it, think it, or pursue it that they can achieve it. They believe that whatever they accomplish is because of their intelligence, perseverance or focus. They do not see the full picture of why they have the wherewithal to accomplish whatever it is that they pursue.

God is the source. We are not the source. All GOOD things come from God. He is the source of EVERY blessing. God uses many instruments to give us blessings. All blessings have his fingerprints all over them. HE IS THE SOURCE!!
Trust and Obey

As we walk through our trials, we MUST trust Him and continue to Obey His commands daily as we walk through the storms. There is no other way to build character in God than to walk through the trials he places in our lives. It is this adversity that strengthens us and teaches us perseverance.

Daily Walking With God

We know that we have salvation with Jesus Christ. But this is not all there is to being a Christian. It is a daily walk with Christ that we must have. In reality, the longer we are Christians, the more we realize how much we really do need Christ. Too many times we are so focused on what we are doing in the world, we forget to spend time with Him.
If it is not about Jesus, it is not about anything.

Humanly speaking no one can ascend the hill of the Lord. “. . . There is none righteous, no not one”
It is impossible for man to enter God’s presence by him/herself. We are only able to be included by the work of Christ. Our vindication is found in Jesus Christ our Lord. If you want to be able to ascend the hill of God, it will be ONLY through Jesus Christ.

Water is something we need on a daily basis from a physical standpoint. We need more of the Spirit of God and Jesus Christ on a daily basis. We need spiritual water every day. When we become dehydrated, we will get weak, we lose our strength. It is the same spiritually when we are not drinking the living water that is provided by our living God through the Spirit and the Word of God.

We would like Jesus to come now and establish His Kingdom Now. Our reward is coming and we will be changed. Just as Jesus had to go to the cross before He could enjoy that glory, we must experience the cross as well. It is according to God’s plan for us to bear the cross before we can be fully given the Kingdom of God.

We have a God who rescued us from the slavery of sin. He has forgiven all our sins — past present and future.
We can turn from God in the same way and worship other things. When we place other things ahead of our One True God. We have created an idol.
Satan still uses idolatry to turn people away from God. It is still of his most powerful tools to turn man from God.

When we become believers in Christ by faith, we become freed from the participation in Adam by sharing in the death of Jesus Christ, His resurrection, His nature, suffering, and glory. We become part of His body. We now share in the fellowship, ministry, and hope of the people of God which was anticipated in the Old Testament days. And we are living its fulfillment in the Church today.

God is the one who ordained marriage. It is an institution that was established by Him. Therefore, anyone who participates in marriage is participating in what God has established.
When we become Christian, we are betrothed to Christ. God takes this relationship very seriously for we become His bride.

Jesus was revealing to the disciples that he was not coming to immediately take rulership over the world. He was making it known that He was about to lay down His life. The disciples began to learn that he was going to suffer at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law and that he will be killed but will be raised again on the third day.

We are sealed with the Spirit of God. What does that mean to us as Christians?
Have you ever had something notarized? That is as close of an example of what Paul is talking about. This seal is a stamp that makes something official.
When we choose to accept the truth of God that Christ is our Savior and that we need Him to be saved, we are marked and are sealed with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of our inheritance into heaven.

As a Christian, I get frustrated, angry with myself and wonder how a righteous and pure God could ever forgive me time and time again.
There are Christians who want to give up on their faith because they feel hopeless in their sins.

We all experience trials and temptations in this world. How do we respond to them when they interrupt our lives?
Do we get angry or frustrated?
Do we try to escape them as quickly as possible?
Do we give in and go with the flow then deal with the fallout later?
Do we just give up and have pity on ourselves?

The man of lawlessness is defiant of all law, is doomed to destruction, exalts himself over everything that is called God, and will demand to be worshiped.
We have been called to be bridge builders as God's people. We need to build bridges with people. We need to reach out to people around us.
God built a bridge to reconcile men and God to be restored. He took the first step. He is the Reconciler.

The Great I AM
From the very beginning, God wanted mankind to know who He was. He consistently revealed Himself and His nature throughout the Scriptures in word and deed. God told Moses to tell the children of Israel that "I Am" sent him.
When he said, "Before Abraham was, I Am" infuriated the Jewish leaders because they knew that He just made the claim that He was God.

The Rich Young Man
If Jesus was looking for a new recruit for His team, this seems to be one of the best candidates for the job.
By comparison of the woman at the well, he seems much more qualified and sincere.
