A slight addendum is needed to this episode. We discuss some banned Magic the Gathering cards. One of which (Invoke Prejudice) was designed by a Mr. McNeil. The card is very clearly and obviously racist, but I did some digging and discovered that he has some openly Nazi ideals he believes in. Supposedly, the fact that the card is id number 1488 was not his doing; that id number was given later and just happened to be some cosmic, unfortunate coincidence. This was created in the 90's when Wizards of the Coast had a much more lax review process. It was only printed once, most likely due to how insensitive the card is.
