Cemal (aka DJ 4T) grew up in multiple cities of Turkey as his fathers job rotation in the army took the family from east to west, north to south. He lived in Ankara during college and university education times. He was interested in music at a young age, many genres and styles from the 80s & 90`s Pop to Rock & Metal Music. He was listening to music when he was doing home works and preparation for exams. Music was a great tool for concentration and speeding up the whole thing about the hard part of studying.
He has graduated from The Faculty of Political Sciences, Economics Dept. He moved to Istanbul to work for a large telco company, then moved to work for a Multinational Company, Nokia. His business journey with Nokia became international and He moved to Austria. During 14 years of international assignments, He has also worked and lived in Denmark, Thailand, Singapore, Dubai, and Azerbaijan. As a traveling businessman, He has also visited more than 60 countries in Europe, Asia, America & Africa. He enjoys clubbing and parties after work and his international carrier allowed him to visit the most famous clubs in many countries.
During the past 15 years, He has also built up a huge music library and enjoyed listening and collect different music styles. In 2008, he started to mix his own music for fun with DJ software and this became a great hobby to fill his spare time at home and also when traveling. Going more deeper and deeper, He started to read more about music theory, several DJing books to understand the real DJ life and DJ gears. But this was not enough, Cemal wanted to learn more and decided to get hands-on experience. Finally found an opportunity to join the 'Pioneer DJ Academy' to learn more about music theory, advanced mixing styles, DJ equipment and etc. Then as became a certified DJ and he decided to buy his own professional equipment to continue DJing practice.
When his colleagues learned his DJ story, they asked him to perform for their farewell parties and his first live DJing performances started. Later on, He has also started doing small bars for free. During one of those friendly talks with Master DJ, he agreed to perform as a startup for Friday and Saturday nights. Later on, Cemal has also performed some weekends till early morning during peak times as the sole DJ for the whole night. His international business and multi-cultural people's experience helped a lot to read the crowd and understand the business logic of clubs and entertainment business. That's the time, he made his first 100 Euro as DJ..:-) Time to time, He has also played in some other clubs as a guest DJ.
He follows worldwide music on a daily basis, expands his library with new entries , and makes mix sets. He still works as a traveling businessman to LIVE and make money but when there is an opportunity and time, he performs as DJ for FUN....
