Jesus is gradually entering into his passion, today and in Mt 26:14-25, He sends His disciples to go and prepare a place where He is to take his last supper with them. At table, He profits again to tell them about the one who is to betray Him, they are deeply sorry and each asking, not I Lord, surely? The most surprising thing in it all is that even Judas is asking the same question. Are you the one to betray Jesus this year? Maybe because you find it difficult to forgive, to let go or be an instrument of love. Maybe you refuse to help the poor or the dying, by so doing, you play the role of a Judas in the life of Jesus this season. Pray and work hard so as not to be the Judas of this year. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_

Before the cock crows you will disowned me three times. Do you have a friend in whom you put all your trust? Has that friend, ever rejected you a day you needed him or her the most? Peter in Jn 13:22-33,36-38 assures Jesus how he is going to be by him and even give his life for Him, but when the time comes, he will not only deny to die for Jesus, but will also disown Him without even thinking a second about the good times they had together. Why do you find joy in betraying the trust of your beloved ones? Real friends are those who will stand by you even when everyone turns away. They will believe in you even when you doubt your own capacity. Be a true friend to someone today. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_

If you cannot be generous, then allow others to be. Jesus will rebuke Judas today in Jn 12:1-12 because of such a behaviour. Nowadays, we have so many groups who claim to be solidarity groups but the reality is that each one fights for itself and never for the poor. Are we really generous towards others? How can you be among those fighting for justice in your society but yet you have at your keeping what can serve your whole community? How can you want people to live happily but you burn their homes, kill their children and drink their blood? You are not different from Judas, he said he was fighting for the poor but in reality he was a thief fighting for himself. Unless we learn to be generous, our world will never know any peace. _P Marc Nguemo sch p_

How much have you taken in order to betray your beloved? Judas today decides to betray his Master for just thirty silver pieces in Mt 26:14-27:66. Why do you value money more than love? Why do you find joy in betraying the one that prays for your success? Celebrating this Palm Sunday therefore is an invitation for us to revisit our relationship with our loved ones, so to see if we can offer our lives for them or if we can rather betray them without any shame. My dear, always remember, even if you find joy betraying others, you will never be like them and you can never take their place. Judas at the end will kill himself and others will eat the money he so wanted. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_

It is better for one man to die so as to save the nation. Because He is becoming popular than them, He can raise the death, give sight to the blind and make the deaf to hear, He has to die as we read in Jn 11:45-57. This is the situation that Jesus finds Himself into today and that many of us can also be victims in our society as well. Because we do what others cannot do, it is enough reason for them to take away our life. What does it really profit us in killing others just because they can do what we are unable to do? Unless we learn to accept others, we shall end up becoming rivals and not companions. Remember, even if you kill them, you can never replace them. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_

I said, you are gods, Jn 10:32-42. Today, many will try to stone Jesus just because He calls Himself Son of God. It is rather unfortunate that many of us also search for God in churches but stone Him in our brothers and sisters with whom we live with each day. Unless we learn to recognize Him as Son of God and also ourselves as his siblings, we will never find Him. Once His siblings, we are called upon to reject all the things that take us away from doing the will of the Father so as to give witness to His name through our works. It is for this reason that Jesus will say; don't believe me if I don't do my Father's work. In same way, let your works testify for you. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_

Do you know why Abraham is called father of many nations today? The answer is found in Gn 17:3-9. It is not because he was righteous but simply because even in his situation, he believed that God is not a man and His ways are not those of men. At old age, the Lord called him and said to him, your name as from this day will no longer be Abram but Abraham meaning, father of many nations. How is your faith in God? Do you trust in His word? Are you always asking yourself "Lord for how long shall you be silent?" The ways of the Lord are not our ways and He is never late in taking a decision for us, we need to be patient and trust in His word today. Just have faith in God your Saviour. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_

Do you really want to be set free? Then don't just call yourself a child of Abraham but put into practice what he taught you as we read today in Jn 8:31-42. It is rather unfortunate that today, we count many believers and churches in our world but very few of us put into practice what Jesus is asking us to do. How comes you say; I am a Christian but yet you are among those working hard to destroy Christianity? Jesus says, those who want to be set free by me should practice what I has taught you and become a sign of His love and mercy among our own brothers and sisters today. Learn to forgive, do good and love those you meet each day and indeed you will be set free. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_

Why did you take us away from Egypt to kill in the wilderness? Nb 8:1-11. Stop complaining about everything that goes wrong and learn to see an opening in every difficulty you face in life. Our God is so merciful that He cannot take us out of the land of slavery so to make us suffer in the wilderness. Unfortunately, most often, we act as the children of Israel who complain about everything and all the time. But thanks to God's merciful heart, at every moment, He grant them a possibility to turn away from their sin and come back to Him. Why are we complaining today? Have we looked up to the cross of Jesus today for healing? Do not be afraid, look us to the cross. _Fr Marc Nguemo sch p_
