GMGN
GMGN (Good Morning Good Night) is the production/DJ moniker of Ben Adams. Originally hailing from the UK, Ben now calls Boston his home. A champion of house and disco, he is a co-founder and resident at Grassfed Disco, a bi-monthly disco party running for the past 3 years in Boston (nominated party of the year at the Boston Music Awards 2019). Ben has supported an eclectic range of artists including Fred Falke, Gorgon City, Zombie Nation, J.Phlip, Chrome Sparks, Jeremy Olander, Soul Clap, Andy Moor, Ray Mang & More. As a producer, he has released across some of dance music’s best underground Labels - highlights being Midnight Riot, Soul Clap Records, Toucan Sounds, KID Recordings, Black Riot Records, Robsoul Records, Punch Out Recordings, Mozzarella Records, Startdust and Sundries.
Grassfed Disco residents GMGN & Bobby Digi take a break from running their disco party (nominated party of the year at the Boston Music Awards 2019) to release 2 cuts of disco-house on Black Riot Records, Midnight Riot's sister label. "That Piano Track", as you might guess, showcases an infectious piano, while "Give Urself A Chance" is some pumping disco-house. Guaranteed to get you movin! Out July 17th

Straight outta Boston we have GMGN aka Ben Adams alongside multi - instrumentalist Chas Bronz who have produced an EP that bridges everything together in terms of disco and starlight boogie, heavily influenced by the Studio 54 heyday but with a clear nod to the current dance floor.
The production is infectious with Ben delivering 5 joints with a loopy, filtered disco-house vibe that will instantly appeal to all the Soundstream & Moodymann aficionado's out there. Party starter Chas also adds some serious Chic-esque guitar licks to opening cut 'That Feelin' & also blesses the hypnotic workout 'Let It Go' that will sure make you move. So don those bell-bottoms pants & platforms shoes and groove all night too!

Really can’t believe our little disco party is turning 1 year old. So many amazing memories to look back on. Seeing as Rekordbox saves the histories each time I play, I was able to look back over the past year and pick out some of my favorite tracks. These are the songs that got the best reactions, got the dancefloor moving – and put a big ass smile on my face. 2017 is a wrap but we have some big things lined up in 2018 – starting next week!

Juno Review: Those with good memories may remember GMGN's first outing on Midnight Riot, 2015's Striped Red EP. It was something of a party-starting affair, with the Boston-based producer gleefully joining the dots between surging house, dusty disco, and punchy, electro-influenced breaks. This follow-up is similar in ethos, but sticks more closely to a sample heavy disco-house blueprint. First he works the filters hard on sweet shuffler "Check That Attitude", before letting the orchestration and vocals flow on the similarly minded "The Feeling's Right" (which, it seems, doffs a rather large cap to Michael Jackson). Finally, he reaches for the rubbery disco-funk bass on the chunky, undercover bounce of "In The Groove".
