A Podcast with hosts Alex and Erica, all about current events, politics, and culture. We promote pro-American values, we like having fun talks, and we don't like socialism.
We're talking about the outrageous censorship of America's Frontline Doctors after they spoke out in favor of treating Covid-19 with Hydroxychloroquine. What's the point of "listening to doctors" if we can't listen to all doctors? We're talking about the totalitarian push against open dialogue about healthcare. And finally we're once again telling you to get your butts outside and back to living!
In this episode we're covering the #DefundThePolice movement and how it is an orchestrated campaign that took advantage of the death of George Floyd. We'll be doing an item by item take-down of the #8CantWait demands. We're also asking the question: Do black people feel pain? Buzzfeed seems to think that white people are in doubt of this - particularly doctors. But we think that's a load of trash and we're cracking open the lone, faulty "study" that this claim is based on. Next we're asking - does it actually take any intelligence at all to become a Supreme Court Justice? Not based on their ruling about Title VII and workplace discrimination. Finally we'll be talking about the importance of tactical gun training after we took a one-day intro class with CoveredSix. It was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended.
The killing of George Floyd sparked nationwide protests and riots, as well as, the old cry of "Systemic Racism." Here's the thing, data on police shootings, and data on major problems facing many black American communities contradict this popular myth. Let's be clear though, racism does exist in America. There are racist individuals, there are racist organizations, and yes there are probably a handful of truly racist police out there. However that does not mean racism is systemic in America. Meanwhile, other things in America are systemic and that helps us know the difference. So let's talk about what "systemic" actually means and why, for the sake of black Americans - and everyone else - that is the key to identifying and solving the more pressing problems facing Americans.
It's pretty obvious that the "peaceful protests" are just an excuse for radical groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matters to activate and mobilize their hooligan members. It may all look spontaneous and hectic but in reality they are following cleverly-crafted rules laid down almost 50 years ago by Saul Alinsky in his book, Rules for Radicals. In this episode we're talking about some of these rules and how they have been applied consistently by the radical left to convince you, the normal good American, that the country is racist while also enabling the violent extremists who organize riots and destroy livelihoods.
In this episode we're looking at the left's response to the story of Shelley Luther, the Dallas-based owner of Salon a la Mode, who was sentenced to 7 days in jail and fined several thousand dollars for opening her business during the COVID-19 quarantine. Despite claiming to be tolerant, the left is making her case all about race. In fact they are giving voice to anti-white racism in their comments on social media. We are also discussing the similarity between this disturbing class/race division during the quarantine and the Soviet takeover of the Ukraine, and the development of the Gulag system.
Stop wearing masks! Every day that you wear a mask just because the government told you to is another day that you are signing away your freedoms. Not only will coronavirus masks do nothing at this point - you have probably already been exposed anyway - it's just embarrassing. Where is your American spirit? A mask doesn't make you woke, or considerate, or anything laudable. It's a sign of your cowardly nature so take it off if you have any dignity and tell your mayor and governor to stick it where the sun doesn't shine.
In this solo episode we'll be talking about the outrageous economic calamity that looms over the U.S. thanks to foolish lockdown policies in response to the Coronavirus. How bad will it be, and why are so many people oblivious to the economic problem? We're answering those questions and highlighting a great article written by Erica for Evie Magazine that goes into greater detail.

Everyone is really fed up with hearing about the Chinese Wuhan Flu and you know what? So are we. So instead of that, in Episode 2 we're talking about a new show out on Amazon called Hunters. Is it worth the hype? Or is it just a bad knock-off of Quentin Tarantino? Why are so many modern female television leads written to be lesbian? These are just some of the questions we're asking. We're getting deep into social justice thought patterns on this episode of True American.
True American is returning with our audio-only podcast. What better time than now when we're all stuck at home thanks to the Wuhan Flu, more commonly known as the Corona Virus? Plus we know you've been missing us - like, really deep down even if you didn't realize it yourself.
Seriously, though - if you're stuck at home it's a great opportunity for self-initiated projects and we've been dying to get back to podcasting. Not only will we be posting on the True American Facebook page, but also to our @yourtrueamerican Instagram page and coming soon to iTunes, Spotify, and Patreon. So obviously you're going to want to subscribe there too and we'll announce the launch of those platforms!
So with thoughts of our dwindling supply of toilet paper and the increasingly-bleak outlook of our local supermarket shelves in mind, tune in and join us as we bring it back in a big way!
