In part 2, Bob shares his thoughts about his operation, how providence worked in his life, his subsequent healing, and the take away that he wanted to share about his experience of having cancer, and then his incredible healing soon after.

Bob describes himself as having an "A" type personality and those who know him, believe it. In 2019, he was feeling out of sorts, and decided to let it be. But by 2020, in February, he knew that something was not right.
In August, Fr. Dominic Legge O.P asked me to help pray for his friend, Bob. Bob said, yes and that's when the Holy Spirit brought us together. Bob was diagnosed with cancer of the colon.
This is Bob's sharing of his 10 days or so previous to his operation, how providence worked in his life, his subsequent healing, and involvement with a prayer intercessor whom he didn't even know, and the lessons he learned as a result of releasing control.

Last month, we listened to Rosanna's story of her divorce, and the almost palpable effects it had on her life, trying to protect two young children: twin boys, and on the dream that so many young girls, including herself had for a beautiful marriage and family life.

Through St. Faustina's Divine Mercy; she finds strength, resilience, and an enormous amount of grace to keep choosing to forgive. When she does, it leads to her personal freedom.

An estimated 20.4% (50.0 million) of U.S. adults live with chronic pain. What do you do when you find yourself in a season of life like that—a season of pain with no end in sight? God in His kindness has given us three expressions of His grace for us to face and deal with chronic pain. They are prayer, promises, ( His grace will sustain you ) and his people. ( fellow intercessors from church. )
Henry Kota is not new to the concept of pain. He grew up walking shoulder to shoulder with adversity, he has suffered from many varying afflictions such as his ongoing sobriety, a brain tumour that nearly killed him, and his painful neuralgia that brought him to his knees. The neuralgia led him to seek intercession and that is where we met him and his daughter, Rosanna in Phoenix, Arizona.
Henry receives a gift from the Lord. A gift of healing from his neuralgia that frees him from the heavy pain medication that he has taken. But this story does not end. Henry speaks about suffering in a way that gives us real hope. Through his experience of suffering, Henry offers us more than a glimpse of his strong faith and love for Jesus. He reminds us that we are NOT alone.

Our next guest is Lola Wilson from St. Dominic's parish in Garden City. Armed with a degree in Theology, she taught scripture for many years. She has always been interested in helping people to see the gospel come " alive " and help them to fall in love with the scriptures.
When she received two dramatic physical healings at our retreats, one for her back and the other for her foot, she knew without a doubt that God's grace was real, and even though she already knew about the Holy Spirit, her faith was renewed again.

Today I am starting with a special Guest, my father Michael Loh. Hello Michael!
My father had just retired and bought himself a Coffee and muffins franchise, and everyone who was anyone would come for his muffins/ coffee…but most of all, for his smile and for his company and humourous stories. The store had become quite a social spot for his growing gathering of family and friends.
But on one fateful day in 1998, my father took ill at the store and wound up in the emergency room, where he was in grave condition. What transpired there, was inspiring and nothing short of a miracle that changed his life until this day. This is a story that reminds me that we are all Pearls of Great Price.
In this 2nd mini advent reflection, Bishop Gilmore continues to reflect on the topic of Hope with the help of a certain Charles Peguy, a married man who died in 1914.
This time, he looks at Hope through the eyes of a child in Peguy's life and finds the spark through which Peguy could find consolation during this difficult life through his " little Girl Hope."
It is an unusual reflection - not the typical Christmas Story. However, it looks deeper into the Theological Virtue of Hope in a way that resonates in our lives today.
In this mini advent reflection, Bishop Gilmore reflections on the topic of Hope with the help of a certain Charles Peguy, a married man who died in 1914. He was a French writer and poet who had a difficult marriage but who was attracted to the Theological virtue of Hope. Thus, this brings us to the first of a three series on Hope.

Grace that Reigns' Hallowe'en Special involves Father Henry Hildebrandt. RIP 2016. One of his last stories to us was that of a mysterious drive on the way back from the East Coast. The Mystery of Death with Bishop Ronald Gilmore, (Chaplain of Grace that Reigns )
In this podcast, Bishop Gilmore offers a few thoughts on Death, Heaven, on Hell and on Purgatory.
He begins with this:
‘Some of you may not know that November has always been a month off sober and prayerful reflection in our Church: on the four last things, we used to way … on Death, on Heaven, on Hell, and on Purgatory.
But the ways and the manners of our time almost forbid our talking about that first one, about death. A monk in France wondered recently if we even had “the time to die” today.
Bishop then speaks about technology and how it overwhelms and at time overwhelms us, so that we are not thinking of the inevitable in November.
- “I don’t have time,” we say stubbornly; “you’ve had enough time,” Says God, wearily.
We don’t have time to die because we have never made real time to live … never made time for ourselves, never made time God. That’s why we are more than ready to miss the high point of this life.
Death is the most important act of earthly existence. But we start, and we cut, and we run when it comes close.
Jacqueline Loh and Bishop Ronald M. Gilmore welcome you to the first episode of Renewing Your Wonder. Jacqueline is from the Archdiocese of Vancouver as well as the founder of Grace that Reigns. Bishop Gilmore is the retired bishop of Dodge City, Kansas, and the spiritual director of Grace that Reigns.
Bishop Gilmore asks Jacqueline how she came up with the name of this ministry, and we get transported back to 2003 to find out the answer. The name Grace that Reigns represents God’s grace being present in the world. God gave us his son, and he is present and accessible in this world, to heal us, give us strength for our journeys and give us hope.
Just a couple of years after retiring, Bishop Gilmore joined Grace that Reigns. He explains what he most likes about being part of the ministry, including his fascination of how Jacqueline relates to the Lord. Bishop Gilmore then inquires about what Jacqueline enjoys the most about Grace that Reigns.
Every man and woman born into this world is called to holiness. God hungers for us each day, and this is something that Bishop Gilmore stresses on retreats. He expresses that many of us don’t actually know God, but rather just know things about him.
The mission of Grace that Reigns is to renew your sense of wonder. Jacqueline says that their efforts promote moments in which people are drawn out of their own mundaneness towards a journey of hope. Bishop Gilmore adds in how this can be accomplished by breaking down barriers that affect our ability to see ourselves as unique.
