Hey ACC fam! It's been too long. I share something very important with you in this episode. It is by far my most authentic episode to date. Things continue to change and shift in this space but it's all part of finding the "truest self." It is hard work but super important to our happiness and the way we navigate our lives. Yaay it's episode 3! So glad you're joining the circle with me again and I look forward to you joining the conversation. This week I talk about my personal struggle with finding balance as I wear the hats of mom, wife, student, tutor, entrepreneur and the list goes one. So here is my random babble/ramble. And can I tell you it was a serious struggle to even make this episode but yaay I got it done! So forgive for any glitches in the sound quality. I was juggling and struggling quite a lot and even while recording and actually recorded at separate times so you may have to pump up the volume in some parts of the show. But hey I pushed through it because I felt I needed to take a breather and share. Stay with me though because episode 4 will definitely take us back to my part 2 of my career journey. Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to me! Welcome to Authentic Chat Circle! I'm Kedeisha Freeman, just an ordinary girl with an extraordinary desire to live a life of purpose. You've made it in time for my very first episode, a gift for me that I give to you. But hey it was no easy task getting this gift wrapped with a bow!
I think I jinxed myself. This recording was going well until I said it wasn't a perfect podcast lol and all that could go wrong went wrong, from my toddler joining the chat circle to my 7 month old waking up. Nonetheless I really hope you enjoy this brief episode. It's been a work in progress since October 2019 but I finally published episode 1! Whew, I thought it couldn't be done with all the editing (still a work in progress) and coming to terms with how vulnerable opening this space meant for me but I did it and couldn't be happier. From crying baby to slammed doors, this podcast couldn't be more imperfect on the editing scales but it's perfect for the authenticity I want it to represent.
