We're proud to present a project from two of the finest names in drum & bass, we’re talking about D-Struct and Arxiva.

Between the two seasoned producers, they have conjured up releases on labels like Dispatch, Tech Itch, Tesseract, P Lab, Boey Audio, amongst others. Consistently demonstrating creative prowess in the studio and pushing their sounds forward, they continue to add a unique flavour to the scene with their solo and collaborative endeavours. For the latest to drop on Skalator Music, they’ve teamed up to present us a fantastic single in the form of “Innerworld” and “Rarecycle”; the release represents their like minded approach to creating drum & bass, drawing inspiration from eclectic musical tastes, experiences as music producers and simply living life. The result of this great collaboration is two distinctive tracks, both made for the deeper end of the dance floor.

"Innerworld" leads in with well paced drums in the intro followed by a catchy atmospheric hook and a tasteful vocal sample moments before unveiling a heavy rolling bassline; dancers and listeners alike will stay engaged with each twist and turn in a reflective groove that keeps pushing on throughout the entire track.

Next single on our growing catalog is by one of the most active, and influential drum and brass producer in Portuguese soil - @Bassment

This single is an integral part of our continued support for homegrown artists, and even more so during these times of undefinition for the near future. We are very honoured to have music by all these talented producers, and we feel very proud on welcoming Bassment to our midst. Both cuts are a clinical portrait of his sound, combining Bassment’s view of a contemporary approach to Drum and Bass production.

Setting the single’s tone, Bassment bring us “Falling” a vibing two-step tune, making good use of cool pads and vocal samples. while “What If” takes us on a different tip with a grooving b-line and a Jazz influenced samples.

“Section 9” is a mention to Masamume Shirow’s “Ghost in the Shell” manga series. It’s dreamy intro led by soft pads and vocal cuts transforms into synth bass anger, driving the track into killer drum and bass territory. It’s a constantly evolving club cut with clever rattling percussion breaks, resolving the modulated synth bass line.
