Finally this is ready to go๐ฑ๐ฑThis weekends episode of the KDFL Podcast will feature a guest appearance from a KDFL Stalwart goal keeper. This number 1 has won numbers leagues, lumsdens, Player of The Year awards, and even has a few red card accolades to go with it. He has been keeping to posts safe in Castle Villa AFC for decades now and although recently retiring from the game, is still involved in the club in many ways, always on hand to give back to the Villa.
It is of course, non other than Alan Proctor! ๐๐๐

Shauna and Bubba will be discussing the new group format,along with the opening round of fixtures. Johnny Dwane has been one of the best Junior referees in the country for over 20 years . And has refereed every domestic and national final over a highly impressive career. He gives us a referees perspective on the game and drop a few names in the process......
Coming up on Episode 18 of the KDFL Podcast is Athy Town AFC newly signed Oisin Boylan.
Oisin Boylan, knowing for his performances in the Clonmullion jersey, has won two doubles over the last two years with the Mull. In 2018 they claimed the Premier League title & the Cup double and in 2019 they lifted both the Lumsden Cup & the Senior Cup. Oisin picked up the KDFL Young Player of the Year Award at the 2019 KDFL Annual Awards night after sharing the Clonmullion FC Young Player of the Year award in 2018 with Lee Doyle. At just 19 years of age, he has been mentioned numerous times on the podcast as KDFL Top Young Player and one to watch!
He has now signed with Athy Town for the coming season, returning back to his underage roots.
What an amazing career and player this woman has had .From winning numerous cup and leagues at domestic level and Fai cup. She has played at national level represented her country and plsyed in the UEFA cup . A stellar career by a gifted and driven individual
Coming up on episode 16 of the KDFL Podcast is Portlaoise A.F.C Ladies captain Mo Nerney!
Mo has been a powerhouse figure in the KDFL Womens Divisions competing in both Division 1 & 2 in recent years. In 2018 Portlaoise AFC claimed the Division 2 title & in 2019, Mo captained them to back-to-back titles as they claimed the Division 1 in a season where she picked up Division 1 Player of the Year. Mo has a substantial amount of accolades behind her winning 4 League Titles (2014, 2015, 2018 & 2019), 2 Shields (2014 & 2015), a Cup title from 2016 and her most recent Division 1 Player of the Year.๐๐ฅ
Known across the country for both her GAA & Soccer abilities, Mo not only has a stock of soccer awards but also 4 Senior County Medals & Two Senior Leinster Club medals with Timahoe GAA. ๐ฅ

This man needs little introduction. And has seen and done it all in junior and senior football. His is one of the most complete player's of his generation. Winning a host personal accolades and helping every team he has played for win trophies.
He also had stint in the League of Ireland and has been regarded by many of his peers as the best player in the league.

We have one of the Best Mangers in the KDFL, who has guided Monread Fc from division 3 to the senior division.Picking up silverware in every division along the way.
His teams are always associated with playing a highly attractive free flowing football. Which has been brilliant to watch and also highly effective. โฝ๏ธ๐โฝ๏ธ
This man's enthusiasm and professional approach to the game is evident for all who have worked with and played under him.

This Man has played at the very elite level. Won an F.A youth cup with Arsenal. Won a full international cap๐ฎ๐ช in 1988 when Ireland beat Tunisia 4-0. Played alongside Stan Collymore and Kevin Campell. Twice player of the year in England with Southend Utd and Huddersfield town.Has played under Neil Warnock and George Graham. And has also played on the coveted Wembley turf.
Upon Returning to Ireland he signed for Shelbourne. Winning a premier division title and an FAI cup ,also picking up PFAI player of the year award. He also had stints at Shamrock rovers and Drogheda before hanging up the boots.
His managerial career started with Kilkenny, before taking over Shamrock rovers ,leading them to a division 1 title in his second year. He then took over Limerick F.c and guided them to a division 1 title ,before stepping away from the game.

This weeks podcast has our first husband & wife duo, as we will be joined by Wayne & Stacey Long. ๐คตโฝ๏ธ๐ฐ
Wayne has had a stellar career which started out in the DDSL, before he moved on to win LSL cups & leagues with Templeogue & Boothroad. He spent his first stint in Kildare with Kingstown before joining Naas United whom he would later leave for his beloved Sallins. He spend 4 years with Johnstown as player manager, winning leagues and cups double! Currently managing the Sallins U13s, Sallins Ladies and Sallins men, Wayne still finds time to play LSL with Leixlip UTD. This man has had an unbelievable career so fsr as both a player and manager, picking up numerous awards along the way and winning numerous cups with the teams he manages more recently a league & cup double with Sallins in 2019.
Stacey played underage with Quarvale Boys and Rowlagh girls before moving to Malahide where football was nowhere to be seeing. At 18 she joined Boothroad in the DDSL. Her KDFL career began with Naas UTD, before jumping ship to Sallins where she spent two years before joining one of the most successful womens teams in the KDFL, Newbridge Colts. Stacey has been an integral part of the KDFL Womens Representative side who claimed the Angela Hearst Cup in 2019 after a penalty shoot out in the final. She, like Wayne, also dabbles in management as both of them teamed up whilst at Johnstown and she now manages the U12 girls team in Sallins where she has returned as a senior player.
Right folks coming up in episode 9 we have one of the best strikers to ever grace a football pitch in kildare and beyond. ๐๐
This man has played across the pond๐ ,as well as league of Irelandโฝ๏ธ. Represented Edenderry Town and Newbridge Town at Lsl level๐ฅ๐ฅ. Won a Lumsden cup with Coill Dubh๐ and is recognized as a local legend in his native Carbury picking many trophies on his way.
He has terrorized defenses, literally all over the country. Scoring goals is second nature to this man and he has definitely left his mark on ever club he has played for, it is of course Tom Sullivan.
Coming up in episode 8 on the Kdflpodcast we have an absolutely legend of a player. A man who has seen any done it all in KDFL. โฝ๏ธ๐
A long time stalwart of the blue&white of Castlevilla, who's longevity and appetite has inspired many great trophy hauls for the villa.

One of the most feared strikers in the KDFL.Who has terrorised defences for the best part of two decades, scored some unbelievable goals๐ in the process. One of the founding members of his club,who he still represents to this day. It is of course the Ginger Ninja keelan Noone๐ who'll join us in the hot seat.
We also have Athy,s answer to Roy Keane who'll join us via phone. A man who's football ability speaks for itself ,his passionate all action style makes him a favourite of any football fan in kildare. His been an instrumental figure in the Woodstock set-up and more recently Suncroft. A top player whatever clubs he is at,it is of course Murt Brennan.
The BOSS LADY Regina Casey๐ will also be joining us via phone. To answer some question on the latest football restrictions.
This weeks podcast guest will be known to many in the KDFL circle! An educator of football, winning captain with Naas AFC and all round football guru, Laura Cusack.
Laura has worked with the FAI as the Development Officer for Kildare for a whole of 10 years during which she educated the majority of Kildare coaches at one of her workshops across the county at some stage. Laura was immensely involved in the promotion and growth of the KDFL Womens & Girls leagues, playing herself with Naas AFC where she had a stellar career in collecting silverware over 8 years and most recently working as the DOF of girls football for the KDUL.
As a UEFA A licenced coach, Laura has also been involved in the International set up for many of the girls teams including a seven year stint with the U17s.
The die hard Liverpool fan will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding her career and experience as one of highest respected figures in the KDFL, playing a massive part in the development of the leagues we all participate in.
Suncrofts Neil Barnby joined us to share his stories, memories and predictions for the 2020 season. Barney was a dream guest giving us the insights to him as a manager, his dream KDFL 11 and a cheeky round of Teammates based on Suncroft AFC.
Coming up on Episode 4 of #Kdflpodcast .We've got not one,but two of the best to every do it in Kildare. In Suncroft Afc recently retired iconic skipper Ray "Razor"Coleman and Naas Utd very own"Cafu" the evergreen Owen "Gibbo" Giblin.
They'll be expending their knowledge of game and giving out expert advice to the next generation of emerging talent. As always they'll be answering our question on everything football in the county

Also playing Oscar Traynor football with kildare and the Leinster Junior league. He has managed a host of clubs including Rathangan, clane ,Coill Dubh ,Naas Utd,Bridgewood utd and currently Redwood. It is of course Sean Casey.
