Takeaways of Success:Where is your 'me' time? As a person striving for success, it can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming to the point of sheer exhaustion. Depending on your daily tasks, being successful can take a toll on your mind, body, and spirit. To help elevate this tension, it can be wise to create time in your day for moments of silent meditation. Now, you may be thinking, “I don’t have time for meditation.” Actually, meditation can be as little as 60 seconds in length. Some people are even so good at meditation that they can enter multiple meditative states for mere moments throughout the day. Taking this personal time can help your mind with clarity and even new ideas. You can also take this personal time to reflect on your current accomplishments and to mentally prepare for your forthcoming goals. Take those personal, quiet moments to relax, breath deeply and prepare your mind for the positive journey that you are immersed in. Create your me time for YOUR success.

Takeaways of Success: What have you done to reinvent yourself? Reinvest in yourself. Whether it's money or knowledge, you need to ALWAYS reinvest in yourself. Here's an example: Let's say you had a big launch of a product that actually earned you $10,000 on the first day. Sounds great right? Here's the question: What are you going to do with that money? Are you going to celebrate by buying yourself an expensive gift of accomplishment OR are you going to reinvest almost every penny back into you becoming even more successful therefore solidifying your positive future? Successful people almost always have the mindset of reinvesting in themselves to be even more successful than they are today. Successful people are always thinking of how they can make life better and more enjoyable for themselves as well as for others. When it comes to reinvesting in yourself, there are multiple ways to do it. You can reinvest in yourself immediately and personally OR you can also reinvest in yourself in the long run by creating other streams of positive return such as starting a nonprofit or donating to your favorite charities and gaining personal and financial enjoyment from that. Reinvest in yourself financially and in knowledge. You just can't go wrong with that mindset.

Takeaways of Success: Have you exercised today? I’ve come to realize that for those who are successful, exercising, being as physically fit as you can be and staying healthy the way that feels most positive to YOU are very important parts of success. When you exercise, don't just go through the motions of the exercise. As a paraphrased quote from Arnold Schwarzenegger stated, “Feel the physical motions in your thoughts. Get your mindset together before you begin your exercise; BEFORE YOU EVEN LEAVE THE HOUSE.” Push yourself to that personal limit of accomplishment to where you just didn't give up or stop because you felt that you were supposed to stop. You will know that limit when you've arrived because the positive feeling you have physically and mentally, immediately afterward just lets you know. By the way, your body can stay fired up, burning calories and fat stores up to 4 hours after your workout is done. Also as a bonus, exercise gives you a nice endorphin rush that scientists have associated with activities such as eating, drinking, sex and maternal behavior. Science has also shown that when you include physical activity into your daily life, your brain activity and mental focus increases greatly possibly making it even easier for you to achieve success.

Takeaways of Success: What have you learned today? According to what I've learned about success, to be successful, we must always continue to learn. In this modern day and age, we are extremely fortunate to have at our disposal so many possible ways of learning. Aside from conventional, centuries old ways of learning like libraries and classrooms, we can now try more modern, unconventional ways of learning like audiobooks, podcasts, webinars, online courses, online video tutorials and much more. These days, we have no excuse to not become more knowledgeable whenever we have the chance. There are even complete websites that were created solely to increase our literacy in various subject matters with many offering FREE CONTENT! With organizations like the Institute for the Future, a nonprofit with 48 years of foresight research, for example, education systems are being put in place so whatever books you read or educational media you consume can be credited to your personal life knowledge and can be added to your resume, utilized to land a job or move into a higher intra-company position. In these current times, the gate-keepers of education are becoming few and far between. The knowledge is out there. It's up to us, the seekers of success, to find it.

Takeaways of Success: Have you seen your success today? Successful people tend to visualize their successes in advance. Visualization is one of the most powerful, if not THE most powerful elements of success. Without visualization, you cannot have your personal success. Your mind is way more powerful than you realize. Did you know that while you sleep, you can have up to 7 dreams per night while only remembering one or, in a lot of cases, remembering none? Some of us are lucky enough to turn our nocturnal dreams into successful realities. Turning dreams into reality can occur in an awakened state as well. While some of us have ignited the fires of ideas in our minds to where we are writing notes all day long throughout every day, I am guilty of this, others have ideas spring into their minds almost divinely out of life needs. As the saying goes, "necessity is the mother of invention." To reach your success, you must acknowledge your dreams as reality no matter how insane your surrounding crowds may think you are. Take time to write, draw, imagine and visualize your impending creations in great detail as if they are in your hands right now. Eventually, they will be.

Takeaways of Success: Do you have a social mission? As a person striving for success, having a social mission that helps others, helps society, and gives back to your community can greatly enhance your personal brand. Throughout your journey of success, having a social mission can also increase your chances of finding others who are willing to help you, donate to your cause or become fans of you and your product or service, therefore following and supporting you in general. When I say "brand," I actually mean WHO YOU ARE. You are your brand. Your name, who you are and what you do throughout your life endeavors defines you as a brand. Having a social mission and a positive purpose behind your quest for success will, in turn, lead to more success eventually turning you into a success magnet. Remember, whatever you put out into the universe, you will receive from the universe. Seek to do good things for others while becoming successful.
