In this fourth teaching in the Teshuvah series, we begin with the question "Why Teshuvah?" Sister Alpha discusses the binding legal contract (covenant) that sets apart the faith of the Jews from all other faiths/religions, the fact that covenant is established through blood, the consequences of not holding up our end of the agreement (curses and calamity) and how a circumcised heart will bring us to perform our duty.
Next class will begin with further discussion of the "Blood of the Covenant."

Our sixth lesson in Teshuvah is about Principle 1: Regretting Sin. Sister Alpha teaches that sin carries a weight, and that repentance is the necessary action to remove the weight and get us back on the straight path. She discusses the 7 Aspects of Regret, which are all tied together in order to bring us to the repentance that we need.

Sister Alpha has been led by Hashem to provide an understanding of Teshuvah, that is “repentance,” through the biblical understanding. Teshuvah is not something done once in a person’s life, but rather is an on-going process. This first class introduces Salvation & Atonement from the biblical perspective, the understanding of both being crucial in order for us all to turn in repentance and draw nearer to the Creator through Yeshua Mashiach.
