Now we want to look at the other side of the equation and show how people can become angel investors. Investing in startups is a risky but potentially rewarding endeavor.

Heather Lowder (Martin) has been a long-time staple in the Tianmu Community. She also founded one of Tianmu's largest ex-pat FB groups in Tianmu. FIT Friends in Taiwan.
Unfortunately, Heather and her husband Tim are also making the permanent move back to the States this week adding to the long list of Fab Folks that we are losing in the Mu this year.
Julian Thornbury and Cory Edwards are not only teachers at the American School in Tianmu, but they are also long-time customers, good friends, and Crypto bros of Eddy's.
While most of the ex-pat teachers in Tianmu will be heading back for the summer next week, Cory will be making the permanent move to another country, he will be missed.

Willy #成瑋盛is a young entrepreneur making a difference in this amazing country of Taiwan. Although Taiwan is a fantastic place to live for most, every country has situations that are not talked about or uncovered very much.
Willy started the #逆風劇團Against Wind (Nifeng) organization to help with children that had come across difficult situations.
Willy and Nifeng are making a difference in the lives of many of the youth in Taiwan and I wanted to bring this to the eyes of more people to see how we could help.

Update: Denise recently passed away so the event will be changed a little to help support the daughter she left behind.
David Chard is a long-time resident of Taiwan and the Expat community. Just over a month ago, David told me the story of Denise is a long-term ex-pat in Southern Taiwan. She has been fighting an illness and is in recovery now but she needs to rest. With no income coming in for her and her family, her young daughter has been forced to work to support the family.
