Porsha C. Jackson (she/her/hers) is a Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner and Holistic Wellness Coach from Oakland, CA. Her business, Wellness By PCJ, is both a personal healing testimony and a platform to educate and encourage those most affected by health disparities on how to reclaim and preserve their health through simple, affordable, holistic and sustainable wellness solutions. Porsha helps clients improve their well being from “The Inside, Outside and Beyond” - the inside through diet and nutrition, the outside through movement, stretch and flexibility, and beyond through Reiki energy healing, meditation and breath work.
Porsha’s journey to health and wellness started in 2019 while grappling with a 3 month, life altering health scare. Sick, tired and in pain, Porsha decided to unsubscribe from the suffering by becoming her own champion for healing. She turned to holistic and ancestral healing practices and committed herself to living a happier, healthier and stress-free life. She converted to a plant-based diet and a regular fitness routine, prioritized rest and stillness and adopted a daily practice of mindfulness, gratitude and spiritual grounding. In this episode, I'm sitting down w/ my beautiful Goddess sister, Rev. Mignon Grayson and we are talking about her favorite topic, ancestor reverence. So sit back and relax, take notes.
Rev. Mignon Grayson is the Founder of Sacred Mysteries World Wide and an ordained Minister of One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City. She was ordained in 2016. She chose the interfaith path due to her calling to serve people of all faiths and religious practices. Mignon recognizes that there is a common link to the Divine Creator within all religious traditions. Mignon heard the call of Spirit at an early age. She began to explore the different spiritual practices of Africa, Indigenous North America and East Indian cultures. Her curiosity of the Divine in its various expressions lead her to study ancient Egyptian (Kemet) religion as her first introduction to African spiritual tradition. Later, Mignon was drawn to other African religions where she became a devotee of the IFA tradition of Nigeria and initiated as a Yayi (priestess) in Palo Mayombe which is rooted in the African Congo Bantu tradition. Through her many years of being a devotee of the IFA tradition and her initiation into Palo Mayombe, Mignon has learned the deep importance of the ancestors and their connection to our daily life and our spiritual evolution. This is a theme throughout most ancient cultures. Mignon’s particular focus is to bring the wisdom of ancient spiritual traditions from across the world to the masses through Sacred Mysteries World Wide and to honor the Divine Feminine through her work with women and girls in discovering and unleashing their personal divine power. As a spiritual evolutionary coach, Mignon seeks to inspire and support people on their spiritual journey by assisting them in connecting with their most authentic and sacred soul calling. Neith Sankofa (she/her/they) is the Founder, CEO, and principle facilitator of “The Healing Theater”, a healing centered dance company committed to providing space and tools for Black Women to heal and reconnect to their mystical potential.
Neith is an author, sacred healing artist, consultant and coach in the areas of self-healing, business-based energy alignment, and embodiment for liberation. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Religious Studies (minor in Sociology and concentrations in ethics and embodiment) both from Georgia State University. Neith also holds a B.A and ordination from the University of Metaphysics, and has studied several forms of African, ancient and indigenous wisdom through over 10 years of dance apprenticeships and holistic mentorships.
She has been a presenter at national and international conferences and is the author of several publications on the use of dance/movement and embodiment practices for liberation.
Neith’s dance credits include performing in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games, being a featured dancer at the International Day of Peace, and ceremonial performances throughout the U.S. Neith’s soul path commitments include assisting in the liberation of Black bodies (specifically Black women) into the BLISS that is their birthright.

Rev. Mignon Grayson is the Founder of Sacred Mysteries World Wide and an ordained Minister of One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City. She was ordained in 2016. She chose the interfaith path due to her calling to serve people of all faiths and religious practices. Mignon recognizes that there is a common link to the Divine Creator within all religious traditions. Mignon heard the call of Spirit at an early age. She began to explore the different spiritual practices of Africa, Indigenous North America and East Indian cultures. Her curiosity of the Divine in its various expressions lead her to study ancient Egyptian (Kemet) religion as her first introduction to African spiritual tradition.
