The Bible has a lot to teach us about everyday living. Join me as I review the lessons I've learned and preached through a pragmatic study of the Bible
April 2, 2022 was a very bad day but I'm thankful for the eleven years I had and for the lessons I learned
"Twas grace that taught
My heart to fear
And grace my Fears relieved
How precious did
That grace appear
The hour I first believed"
Would we have listened to those men in the first century sharing the gospel message? Do we today?
'There is only one day left, always starting over: It is given to us at dawn and taken away from us at dusk.' Jean-Paul Sartre
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
How shall I a habit break ? (author unknown)
As did you that habit make. As you gathered, you must lose;
As you yielded, now refuse.
Thread by thread the strands we twist Till they bind us neck and wrist;
Thread by thread the patient hand Must untwine ere free we stand.
As we builded, stone by stone, We must toil unhelped, alone,
Till the wall is over thrown.
But remember, as we try, Lighter every test goes by;
Wading in, the stream grows deep Toward the current's downward sweep;
Backward turn, each step towards shore Shallower is than before.
"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”
― Leo Tolstoy
TO: YOU
FROM: GOD – THE BOSS
SUBJECT: YOURSELF
DATE: TODAY
REFERENCE: LIFE
This is God. Today I will be handling ALL of your problems for you. I do not need your help, so have a nice day
And remember, if life happens to deliver a situation to you that you can not handle, do NOT attempt to resolve it yourself!! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved in MY TIME, not yours.
