Jesus does not belong in a box! We cannot limit God. Often we can put God in a box when we don’t see Him do what we asked Him to do. Satan tried to put Jesus in a box - in a grave, but Jesus broke out of that box! The box we try to put Jesus in often becomes our caskets. So let the truth of who God says He is in His word reign in your heart today.

When we tie our joy to our circumstances, sometimes it can be ripped away pretty quickly. Instant joy can be taken away instantly. True joy, joy from God comes even in unlikely circumstances. James says ‘Consider it pure JOY when you face trials’. Hebrews says ‘for the JOY set before him [Jesus] endured the cross’. Joy comes when we fix our focus on Christ in all circumstances.
