This morning Ps. Andy shared a message on generosity encouraging us around our motivations and looking at the traits of a generous person and how can we show generosity to those around us.
Tonight we heard for Young Adults leader Emily encouraging us that as God reminded his people in the Old Testament of the miracles he had performed to allow Him to remind us today of the miracles in our own lives and then to share it.
This morning Ps. Chris encouraged us around the importance of clearing out space to make room for Jesus, therefore allowing us to walk in everything God has created us for.

Tonight Aaron shared a message unpacking Romans 12:1 and encouraged us the our response to God's mercies should be to submit our soul, sanctify our body and have our mind renewed.
This morning Ps. Graham continued taking us through Christian's journey in the Pilgrims Progress and encouraged us that the more dangerous the journey, the more spiritual our resources must be - in prayer, in worship and in who we surround ourselves with.

'Does God want us to be happy?' This morning Ps Andy encouraged us that God does desire happiness for us and that the key to obtaining happiness is through wisdom.

In tonight's message Steph encouraged us that as we carry the presence of God within us, every step we take we are on Holy Ground.

Tonight Ps. Chris unpacked the meaning and outworking of a Nazarite vow, explaining that vow takes great courage while dabbling in the world is costly.
This morning Ps Andy introduced us to our new 4 part series 'The Spirit Realm'. Looking at how the spirit realm impacts and is linked o the natural world we live in.
This morning Ps. Andy encouraged us to accept the invitation from God to discover the joys of an intimate relationship with Him that goes deep than just knowledge or 'getting the feels'.
At our very special Mother's Day service we had the privilege of hearing from three mothers in our church on the subject of prayer. Sharing their wisdom and testimony of how they have seen the power of prayer outwork in their lives.
Tonight Luke Gaschk shared a message from Exodus 16 looking at the Lords daily provision for the Israelites and lead us in times of discussion looking at our own rhythm with God.
This morning Ps. Graham continued to take us through 'Pilgrim's Progress'. We follow Christian as he enters into battle with Apollyon and relies on the spiritual armour and weapons to defeat his enemy.

Continuing the series on the 'Pilgrim's Progress' Ps Graham follows Christian as he heads over the 'Hill of Difficulty' and onto the 'Palace Beautiful', a place of peace and rest where Christian can reflect on where he has come from to where he is going.

Looking at the example of Daniel, Ps Matt unpacked the importance of prayer in our lives and in our culture. He encouraged us to continue to go to God in prayer, continuing to ask, seek, and knock.
This morning Pastor Andy challenged us on what it is to be a true disciple of Jesus and what it really means when Jesus asks us to follow Him.
Tonight we heard from three of our legendary youth leaders - Imogen, Josh, and Jess, as they unpacked the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. They challenged us to consider the conditions of the soil of our lives and the application that this has at all stages of our Christian walk.
Our lives are so full and it is easy to become tired, weary, and burnout. But our battle is not only of the flesh but of the spirit as well. Ps Andy encouraged us around balance and the God given rhythms for our lives and the grace that he has given to us.

On Resurrection Sunday, Chris Blacker followed on from Ps Andy's series the Verdict, and continued to unpack the process of sanctification and how our motivation to live a life of obedience changes when we have revelation of what it is that Christ has done for us.
On Resurrection Sunday, Ps Graham continues with Part 3 of Pilgrim's Progress as Christian travels through the Wicket Gate, to the Interpreter's House, and up the highway until he reaches the Cross. It is when we come to the cross that our burdens come lose.

On Good Friday, Ps Graham continues in his series on Pilgrims Progress, as Christian heads out from the 'City of Destruction', encouraging us to be aware of the doubts, fears, and things that try to divert us from our journey and drag us into the 'Slough of Despond'.

Church is more than a building. It's wherever God's people are. Steph takes us through Acts 2 as we look at what we can learn from the early church about what it means to not only go to church but to be the church.
How should we respond to the freedom that we now have in Jesus? When Jesus is Lord of your life, the product should be radical life change. Ps Andy continues in part 2 of his series the verdict and unpacks the process of sanctification which is the process of of becoming more like Jesus.

We can all have moments when life feels out of control. In this message Ps. Andy encourages us that victory for the out of control life is found in the act of surrender.

At our first PM service for 2021 we heard amazing testimonies of a faithful God from youth & young adults who attended this years Summer Camp.
At our Vision Sunday Service, after having a brief look back at the year that was 2020, Ps. Andy announced the theme for the year ahead, The Heart of God.
In this message Ps. Chris looks at the story of Joseph and encourages us that whatever hardship we may find ourselves in, God has a plan, purpose and victory for what we are facing.
In this message Ps. Graham encourages us that rather than being robbed like so many are, we should be soaring with God and enjoying the abundance of all that Jesus has won for us.
In this sermon Ps. Andy speaks to us about our calling. He encourages us to know who it is that is calling us and that God is more interested in who we are becoming than what we are doing.
As we enter 2021 Ps. Matt shares encourages us that God is calling us into more life as we listen and respond to His call. Drawing from Joshua 1, he points out 5 key for stepping into the promised land and the ‘new’ that God has for us.

Ps. Graham continues our He Shall Reign series taking a look back at the year of 2020 and challenging us on how we would personally sum up this year in the light of a God who reigns.
Ps. Andy continues our He Shall Reign series, and asks the question - Knowing that the victory has been won by Jesus, why do we still sometimes live like the war is not over?

Guest speaker Martyn Iles (Managing Director of ACL) delivered a brilliant message out of Matthew 5:3-16, and encouraged us that as followers of Christ we are different to make a difference.
Continuing our Fruitful series, Ps. Graham delivers a thought provoking message on the rewards and crowns received in heaven, and encourages us that the way we live our lives on earth will bring fruit in Heaven glorifying God.
Ps. Andy continues our Fruitful series encouraging the generations of our church that your do not graduate into purpose - it is always there, and that you may be able to retire from a job but you cannot retire from purpose!
For our Fruitful series, Ps. Chris takes a look at the fruit of a love that does not envy, is not self seeking, keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth and always perserveres.
With the second message in our Fruitful series, Ps. Nic shares about the importance of walking with the Holy Spirit to produce inward fruit in our lives. Focusing on the fruit of Peace she looks at how we are affected when we allow the peace of Jesus to rule our heart, guard our heart and calm us in any and every situation.

For our Father's Day message Ps. Matt encourages us to be present and proactive, to show and example what has value and to forgive and let people know they are forgiven.
Ps. Graham wraps up our Good News series unpacking the parable of the wise and foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-13) and paralleling it with the times we find ourselves in.

In the third week of our Under Pressure series, Pastor Nic shares one way we can respond when we're faced with a pressure situation - through praise!!
Looking at two biblical examples of how God's people chose to respond when they faced pressure, we see how praise can act as a weapon and a witness as God brings about victory and freedom!
Continuing with our Under Pressure series, Pastor Graham looks at the positive effect that pressure can have on our life in the natural and the spiritual, and that by changing our perspective and viewing our pressures as a positive instead of a negative we can allow ourselves to grow.
Pastor Andy kicks off our new sermon series 'Under Pressure' with a message on the importance of priorities. We are encouraged to decide again what matters most, evaluate what we need more or less of in life and know that the order of our priorities matters.
In this weeks message Ps. Chris encourages us on the importance of giving the wounds we receive in battle and in life over to God for healing to become scars. Scars show that while we may have been wounded, in Christ we can see victory.
In this weeks final message for our Conditions for Growth series, Pastor Nic talks about the need for fertiliser. Using the Parable of the Fig Tree in Luke 13, she shares about the importance of having fruitful lives and the role that time, change and the digging and dunging process play in producing Godly fruit.
Continuing on with our Conditions for Growth series, Pastor Andy looks at the Sun. He explains that just as the Sun is essential for physical growth in the natural on our earth - the SON is essential for our own growth in the spiritual.
Pastor Graham continues our Conditions for Growth series and encourages us that no matter what our situation is like, water - being Jesus and the Holy Spirit = life which outworks in growth.
Pastor Andy kicks of our new series Conditions For Growth, explaining the importance of positioning ourselves to grow. It is not the speed and size of the growth that is most important but the quality and health of the growth.
In this years Mother's Day message, we are reminded that although it might be easy to find something to complain about we can always choose gratitude and thankfulness instead. Pastor Nic encourages us to be thankful on purpose - with God and each other, and be grateful in whatever season we may find ourselves in!
proLooking at the story of Abraham, Pastor Andy encourages us not to settle and hold onto the promises that God has made to us. Even when there is no clear path, God has more for us than what we can see now
Looking at scripture from the book of Acts, Pastor Chris unpacks the way God has grown His church regardless of circumstance. Gods desire is that the church continues to grow even now. Our instruction is to simply be available and God will find a way!
Pastor Graham encourages us to continue to be a church that ministers inwardly and outwardly. To demonstrate God’s heart of compassion, and embrace our ability to Shine God's Lightby being of assistance to those in our community, workplace, and church family.
Jesus didn’t come to make bad people good, but to make dead people alive! For our Resurrection Sunday Service, Pastor Andy asks the question: How does the revelation of Christ raised from the dead affect you today?
For our Good Friday service Pastor Andy encourages us to build our lives on something that cannot be taken away, and that at the first sign of trouble we should first face Jesus.
Pastor Nic follows on from her previous message, looking at the Parable of the Sower and focuses on the "deceitfulness and false security of wealth" (Mark 4:19) that can choke seed. She unpacks Psalm 62 and looks at how we can put our security, trust and hope in God alone.
In our current world of change, chaos and uncertainty we have the example of how King David was able to find his security in God, despite his troublesome circumstances.
Pastor Graham takes us through the story of Jesus in the Storm in Mark 4, and invites us to remember who has the power to calm the sea, who has the power to push back the mayhem, chaos or confusion and allow life to flourish.
An encouragement to see us through a time of trial and out the other side Ps. Andy unpacks the following points: Fear must Fade, Truth must Triumph & God will be Glorified all while asking the question "Watcha listening to?"
Jesus redefined greatness. Whoever wants to be great must serve!
Sometimes we serve because we want a reward. Sometimes God wants us to serve just for obedience alone. Matt spoke on 5 tools for serving and how we can make the most of what God has called us to do.
In light of all that is going in our world at the moment, Graham spoke about the three types of truth: Empirical, Convenient and Absolute.
What is your default source for finding truth? And how do we respond without fear to today’s events.
Is it the level of our faith that determines whether or not our prayers are answered? Andy spoke about why we pray and what the bible says about unanswered prayers. Ultimately, “we place our hope in prayers and our FAITH in God”. A quote from our founder Pastor Hal Oxley who, as Graham announced, passed away on Sunday 8th March.
In Mark 4, Jesus talks about the Parable of the Sower. Nic looks at the seed that was choked and focuses on the “worries of life” (v19) that choke the seed. Worry has become a normal acceptable part of life. But the bible is clear that we can overcome worry and go from Worrier to Warrior. Communion spoken by Hamish Woodcock.
What is the foundation for growth? Matt looked at the example of John the Baptist who famously said “he must increase, I must decrease”. In order to grow, we must be born again and let God increase in our lives as we decrease and let go of our sin and struggles.
Andy encouraged us as we approach a month of prayer and fasting. Putting time aside to simply be with God may seem counterproductive, but it is a great way to grow in God! We fast to focus, for break through and to devote ourselves to God. Communion delivered by Steph Berry.
Jesus said that His Kingdom is not of this world. But he still teaches us to pray “your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”. 1 Peter 1:23 says that we have been born again of an imperishable seed. We are of the Kingdom of God! So when we talk about growing in God, it’s not about key performance indicators, but spiritual formation and kingdom growth.
Each year, we put aside one month is fast as a church and individuals to seek God. So as we launch into our new Grow series, Graham talked about different types of fasting mentioned in the bible and gave particular focus to the Nazarite Vow or Fast.
Julia encouraged us around how we spend our time and how we view our busyness. If we can’t discern the Spirit’s moving in the midst of our busyness, why are we busy? Julia encouraged us to be busy with a purpose, to not let the distractions cause destruction in our lives, and to embrace those divine interruptions in the midst of our busyness.
At our Staff & Volunteers Dedication Service, Jim Wallace (chairman of The Australian Christian Lobby) reminded us that today the enemy is working to destroy the success of Christians. Unity is powerful for the Church and we need to be aware of Satan’s indirect attacks to destroy unity and purpose in our lives.
Each year, Frontline Youth & LMC Young Adults go away on Summer Camp in January. This year's theme was ASCEND. All about having faith and security in God in the highs and lows of camp. It was a pleasure to hear testimonies of how God moved in the lives of Liam, Emily, Chloe, Caleb, Kianu & Rowan.
Ps Andy revealed his heart and vision for this year at LMC, and that is: GROW. Growth doesn’t just happen. There are no short cuts! Growth has to be intentional. We pray 2020 will be a year of great growth when it comes to each one of our relationships with God. Andy led us in communion.
We also honoured Ps Graham & Kris Nelson for their obedience to the call of God over the last 21 years in serving our church.
Chris encouraged us as we take on 2020 and think about what God is calling us to and what we are pledging to him, that we see it through. Consider these points that Chris gives us as we persevere and remain committed to God.
Inevitably we all come to 'forks' in the road where we have to make a choice. Pastor Graham unpacked Matthew 7:13-14 where Jesus instructs us to choose the narrow gate that leads to life with Him!
There are 3652 days in this next decade! Over the next 10 years, we want to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18). The steps to developing a Christlike character start with dying to self, continuing in the sanctification process and making small steps to create big change.
For the first sermon of the decade, Andy encouraged us with Matthew 11:28-30. To be fresh for God, we need to give him our burdens and take time in his presence.
In the final message for 2019, Pastor Chris challenged us to take a stocktake of our lives in the areas of Time, Money, Work, Relationships, & Family. Is Jesus the centre of each of these areas of our lives? Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) says 'Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him],
And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].' What a promise heading into 2020!
Merry Christmas for 2019! Cass encouraged around the thought that everyone has a seat at the table that has been prepared by God. When we sit at the family table on Christmas Day, let's be thankful that He has a place for each one of us at HIS table!
In the final message from our Jesus Is: series, Kris Nelson shared with us about reason Jesus was called 'Mighty God' in Isaiah 9:6. The Christmas story is about our Mighty God, and is as relevant to us today as it has ever been. Communion presented by Julia Rizzuto.
In Hebrew culture, it was custom to call a father for the quality of that which he was known. Jesus was the Father of Eternity. His reign does not end. He is eternal in every way. When we are born again, we are born into eternity and receive eternal life with Jesus - the Everlasting Father.
Jesus is our Wonderful Counsellor. That is one of His attributes! Proverbs says you are wise if you seek godly counsel. In Matthew 6, Jesus says “Seek first the Kingdom of God”. Biblically we know that Jesus must be our first counsellor for godly wisdom and guidance. Jesus communicates to God on our behalf and He will counsel and advise us how to have life abundantly.
In Part 2 of Chris’s message, he continues to unpack the process we sometimes go through when we put our faith in God. Peter didn’t wait for the wind to cease before he stepped out in faith. He stepped out in the storm! What is God calling you to today?
We heard testimonies from a few of our young adults at LMC! Jacken, Emily, Andrew & Christy shared how God has been faithful and constant in their lives. Jesus is our treasure, the ultimate designer, the orchestrator (and match maker!), our burden lifter and author for life. God is the one who writes our stories and we give him all the glory!
Matt looked at the life of Jacob to unpack how we form our identity. The world may say you are your mistakes, what you feel and what others say about you, but Jesus says you are who he created you to be. Follow his truth and his voice and you will find your identity in Christ.
Nic spoke on The Rich Young Ruler (Mark 10) who values treasures and wealth more than a relationship with the Messiah. Jesus is enough for us when we trust him in all things and put our confidence in him. When we treasure Jesus and fix our eyes on him, we will find that he is truly all we need. Living a life of faith is not easy. Faith can be spelt R-I-S-K. Jesus calls us to listen and obey His voice so that it may be well with us. Are we being directed each day by His voice, or do we follow our own agenda? It isn’t always convenient when God calls us to walk on the water, but rest assured that the Holy Spirit is with you.
Jesus was counter cultural - especially when it came to forgiveness. Through Jesus, we have been forgiven and now we are called to forgive others (Mt6:14-15). We need to make sure we overcome unforgiveness before unforgiveness overcomes us.
Jesus does not belong in a box! We cannot limit God. Often we can put God in a box when we don’t see Him do what we asked Him to do. Satan tried to put Jesus in a box - in a grave, but Jesus broke out of that box! The box we try to put Jesus in often becomes our caskets. So let the truth of who God says He is in His word reign in your heart today.
When we tie our joy to our circumstances, sometimes it can be ripped away pretty quickly. Instant joy can be taken away instantly. True joy, joy from God comes even in unlikely circumstances. James says ‘Consider it pure JOY when you face trials’. Hebrews says ‘for the JOY set before him [Jesus] endured the cross’. Joy comes when we fix our focus on Christ in all circumstances.
Jesus was moved with compassion. His compassion for people wasn’t restricted just to Christians and insiders. It extended to everyone. When Jesus ascended to heaven and left us with the gift of the Holy Spirit, this was an act of compassion! That we may ALL reach people with the love of God.
As Jesus is, so are we in this world. Jesus is the light of this world. He continually casts light into darkness in our lives and in world. We are children of light and are called to BE light in the world!
Andy Hunt will be the newly appointed Lead Pastor of LMC as of 2020. Andy shares his response to Graham’s message (Jesus Is: Lord) and shares his testimony of how God has been faithful in his life. He reminds us that above all, Jesus is our calling in life. We are called to relationship with God, to consecrate our lives (be set apart and holy) and to serve. Communion delivered by Chris Blacker.
Ps Graham announced that Andrew Hunt will be the new Lead Pastor of Life Ministry Church as of January 2020!
Graham encouraged us prior to this announcement to make Jesus the Lord of our lives. There can be a number of reasons why we don’t obey our Lord Jesus. He said: “Why do you call me lord lord and not do what I tell you?” We cannot say we are close with Jesus, but fail to obey his commands. Obedience is not hard when we trust Jesus, when we know he has our heart, take self off the throne and make him Lord of our lives.
Is Jesus your everything? Is Jesus your sustainer in all things? Mike challenged us with a powerful message on everything Jesus is and can be in our lives. Jesus revolutionised our relationship with God and desires for us to make him our everything.
Nic used the story of Jonah to illustrate 5 points of God’s grace. God’s grace chases us, it paid the price for us, it is patient with us, it changes us and has compassion for us. We can respond to God’s grace through repentance and allow Him to change us and make us more compassionate for His people.
Frontline Youth is the youth ministry of Life Ministry Church. At this service, we had 3 people get baptised! Matt Burt encouraged us with our testimony. Our testimony brings life, it is a weapon against the enemy and a tool to serve others. Our greatest struggle can be our greatest opportunity for God’s testimony!

Mark Hodgetts has been a teacher of the Word for 40+ years. Mark gave us 5 C’s for crises that can be observed from Psalm 27, a psalm of David. When we face a crisis, following these 5 C’s: 1. Calm down 2. Check your instruments (word of God) 3. Communicate 4. Comply with instructions and 5. Climb, will allow us remain strengthened in God!
Is something other than God your master today? Often we can promote gifts that God gives us such as money, time and work from slave status to master status. These things are good servants, but poor masters. They can enslave us. But when Jesus is master of our lives, these gifts can help us serve God! Communion delivered by Dave Stewart.
We who are are allowing ourselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons and daughters of God. Chris unpacked Romans 8:14-16 and gave some pointers in regards to being led by the Holy Spirit. We need to be willing to be led and know that it is a lifestyle and not a Sunday thing. Challenges will still arise therefore we must stay guarded against being led by the flesh.
Jesus was never exclusive. His actions and conversations were inclusive. He drew near to all, especially those classed as sinners. We too were once on the out, but now God calls us in. Andrew is a faithful member of our church and serves in the LMC Worship Team. Andrew reviewed the life of Jesus and how he sets a perfect example for obedience. Christ-like obedience requires humility and submission. Obedience is a choice, but is made easier when we trust in God.

Hannah, Annette & Dave shared who a Father Is, sharing the qualities of a good father and how that relates with God, our perfect Heavenly Father. Dave encouraged us to find our identity in God. We aren’t defined by what we do, our work or status. We are defined by our faithful God.
John 10 explains how Jesus is our good shepherd. Steph unpacks how we as sheep are known, loved and protected by a shepherd who is leading us to good grazing ground. We are just called to trust, know and rest in the fact that Jesus is watching over us.

We are living in an age where loneliness is in epidemic proportions. People everywhere are looking for true and meaningful relationships. Graham uses scripture to describe a true friend and how we can cultivate a true friendship with Jesus. Communion delivered by Narelle Daly.
Revelation 3:20 gives us a picture of who God is - 'Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.' Chris unpacks what this means for us and looks at the life of David.
Our first love experiences impact us forever. They help us to define what love is, it shapes our identity. Spiritually, Jesus is our First Love. God is faithful to provide all our needs. God’s name is Jehovah Jireh, meaning “The Lord will provide”. With everything God provides, God asks us to be good stewards of the gifts He gives us and to trust and know that everything we have belongs to God.

Antidote means to remedy, to set right an undesirable situation. The world knows it’s sick, but it offers false remedies. Jesus is our cure, he took on ALL sin to be the antidote for our sin. As Christians, how are we supplying Jesus our antidote to our world?

When Jesus healed the man who was blind since birth, this man’s life changed forever! Jesus didn’t come to modify our lives, he came to transform our lives from the inside out!
Chris brought a simple message about what we know from scripture about healing: death and sin entered through the garden, Jesus healed in obedience to God and asks us to do the same. We took time to pray for those needing a touch from God. Communion presented by Julia.
Insecurity is an epidemic in today’s world. Many of us struggle with insecurity. Graham shared with us that we don’t have to feel secure to be secure in God. Our value is in who we are in Christ. Loving yourself isn’t obnoxious, we love because Christ loves us!
Dave shared with us the story of St Patrick! And how God called him to spread the gospel to Ireland. Jesus is calling us just as He called St. Pat, the disciples, Paul… Jesus calls us to repent, He calls us out of obscurity and into maturity and invites us to walk with Him.
Many attempts have been made to refute the resurrection of Jesus. Pastor Graham shares how we know Jesus rose from the dead, and what that means for us today - our sins are taken away and we have relationship with God!

Without Jesus, the only way we can be righteous is by being perfect. Since Jesus is the only one who is perfect, we can only truly be made righteous through Jesus. When we believe this, we will reap a righteous lifestyle!
The idea of perfection is an illusion, it is inevitable that we will fault! Thank goodness for Jesus who is perfect, lived a perfect life and was a perfect sacrifice for our sins. When we realise our own imperfection, we see our need for Jesus Christ.
Jesus is Emmanual - God with us. In anything we face in life, it matters most who is with us in those circumstances. We are never alone, God is always with us and he is strong. Jesus didn’t just save us from death, he saved us for a full life with him.
Jesus is the Truth. John 8:32 tells us the Truth will set us free. Even though we are born into sin, God gives a NEW birth experience and sets us free from the prison of sin!
Martyn Iles shared with us lessons from Isaiah to bring light to the dark reality of our society and our world today. Just as God called Isaiah, he is calling us to today to do his will and be salt and light on the earth. Let’s respond, “Here I Am. Send me!”

Anita, Liam, Kara, Jarvis and Verity shared their testimonies from Youth & Young Adults Summer Camp. The theme for camp was “First Love”. Reclaiming Jesus as our First Love and desiring to see our friends put their First Love first again.

"Don't forget to read your card!" We can be very quick and excited to rip open the gifts God has given us, but let's not forget to read His love message to us!
In the final part of this series, Graham dwelled on John 3:16. God - the greatest person - so loved the world that he gave his one and only son (the greatest gift) that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life (the greatest result)
Part 2 of Graham’s Christmas Series led us to Galatians 4. The first Christmas happened at the exact right time, it was entirely God’s initiative, unlike anything ever seen before and it was just the beginning!
Graham spoke on part one of his Christmas series Unto Us A Son Is Given, reminding us that Jesus is the New Way, not because the old way is obsolete, but because Jesus is the better way; the heir of all things, the creator and upholder of the universe and the radiance of the glory of God. Dave brought us up to date with all the amazing things happening with SALT (Sport and Life Training). Once a ‘dumb’ idea, now a work of God. Like five loaves of bread and two fish, God takes our offerings and does something magnificent with them.
In the final part of our Building Strong Foundations Series, Graham encouraged us to put our trust in God - not in education, pride, knowledge or success but in our ever faithful God.
Many of us battle with serving our self before God. Andy encouraged us to remain faithful in serving the Lord, and to focus on the attitude of our hearts before we focus on our acts of service.
Chris reminded us about our speech and the power of our words. Our words can be amusing to some, but damaging to others but a healthy heart speaks health into others.
Ps Graham interviewed our founding Pastor, Ps Hal Oxley for our 60th Anniversary! It was an honour to listen to Ps Hal and to hear stories of how God moved in his life and began Life Ministry Centre.
Pastor Graham continued his 'Building Strong Foundations' series, with this powerful and encouraging message on 'Family'.
Luke spoke on Psalm 119:105 and encouraged us to use the lamp God has given us to light our path. Though we may not see what’s up ahead, be encouraged that there is so much to gain in the journey!
For many of us, we encounter the problem that ‘we do not listen to understand, we listen to respond.’ Chris discusses what affects our ability to listen and how we can learn to listen to God through stillness, patience and humility.
Joshua and Israelites had to cross the Jordan River to enter the Promised Land. Steph encouraged us to prepare to do the same. We can step into God’s promises and combat the enemy by getting into the Word of God!
Trusting in God isn’t always easy, in fact it can be a hard thing! Dave encouraged us to cheer up when things don’t go our way and to get up and persevere in obeying God’s voice.
Sergio encouraged us at our Healing Service with a message of freedom. Your freedom, genuine peace, true identity, purpose, calling and inheritance - anything that you ever wanted and more can only be found in Jesus. Be blessed and walk in the freedom that has already been purchased for you!
It was a pleasure to have Mark Hodgetts with us again! The Church is God’s invention, gathering together is what God wants us to do. Mark took us deep into the scripture and looked at 5 reasons why we gather as a church - Adoration, Supplication, Harmonisation, Non-Discrimination and Consideration.
Just as babies need an exclusively milk diet when they're born, so do we when we first become a Christian! But as we grow, we need to get into the solid food - the meat. Pastor Andy encouraged us to constantly be on the hunt for solid food in the Word of God, both through Church and in our own personal study times.
Our spirit battles against our flesh - we must watch out because the flesh within us desires to be recognised. Matt offers us some key thoughts on how we can be Spirit focused and not flesh focused as we serve God and live life with Him.
Often our worldview can be shaped by the negative things people have said about us. When we come to God, we need to have our worldview reshaped. David encouraged us with Romans 8:28, God is with us and is doing a good work in us!
Nic is back from maternity leave, and it’s fitting that she spoke on becoming childlike! It doesn’t matter how old we get, we are always children of God. Nic encouraged us to come to these three childlike attributes in our relationship with God: trust, determination, persistence and innocence.
The Holy Spirit is at work within us to bring about His kingdom and purpose on earth. In part 3 of the Gifts of the Spirit, Chris gave extra detail to the gifts of Prophecy, Miracles, Healing, Faith, Wisdom, Knowledge and Discerning of spirits.
It’s okay to struggle! But what do you when you’re tank is empty? We need to find the Lord’s petrol station. Hamish gave us 4 clear points on how to get back on track and refresh in God after break down.
If the devil can’t make you bad, he’ll make you busy.. or he’ll make you quiet. Dave encouraged us to take back our voices and use them for the right reasons; not for anger but for wisdom and direction to those who are lost.
Before Jesus left the earth, he promised us the Holy Spirit - the Spirit that enables us to achieve what God calls us to. Chris teaches specifically on speaking on tongues and its purpose for the individual and for the congregation.
Being a dad is a tough job! There's no apprenticeship, you're just thrown into the deep end! But God in His kindness has filled us with His Spirit - our helper and comforter - to assist dads in leaving a Godly legacy for our children.
Sometimes we find ourselves running on empty. How do we get there? And how do we remain rejuvenated and refreshed? Andy gives us some clear points on how to stay fresh in life and in our faith!
We are soldiers in the battle against the enemy. The enemy loves to work underground in hidden tunnels, it’s his strategy of war. What diversions have we allowed the enemy? When we understand the tactics of the enemy, the easier it is to recognise and defeat him.
Ephesians 6 reminds us to put on the whole armour of God. We are at war with the enemy. In order to fight well we must know who our enemy is and know his limitations. And remember - we stand from a place of victory!
If we walk without the Spirit, we walk without power. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for everyone! Chris brings understanding to 1 Corinthians 12 and encourages us to seek and desire the gifts of the Spirit.
Faith is one of the ingredients of Building a Strong Foundation. Faith and works go together like breathing in and out - faith without works is dead. Graham unpacks James 2:14-26 and encourages us to have a dynamic faith!

Pastor Graham continued part two of Building a Life of Faith. God can build our faith through difficulties, commands, dollars and delays. Be encouraged that the testing of your faith produces spiritual maturity and inner peace!

Alejandro blessed us with his amazing stories of what God has done in and through his life! We saw many people healed both physically and emotionally on this night where he spoke about the words and sounds we hear and believe. What are their origins?
LMC Worship introduced the church to the song they wrote 'You Are Reviving Me'. It's God's breath alone that breathes life into the dead, dry areas of our life!
What is faith? How do we build a foundation of faith? Pastor Graham unpacked Hebrews 11 and pointed out 6 characteristics of what faith is.
David encouraged us with Jeremiah 29:11. God knows the thoughts he has for has, and he is preparing us, equipping up for our future. Whatever you’ve been through, it’s not a waste.
David Molyneux faithfully stepped in to preach on short notice! We looked at Acts 2 and analysed the characteristics of the Early Church - their priority for God’s word, fellowship, prayer, unity, generosity and praise. This is the healthy church God wants us to be! See video clip here
What is love? 1 John 4:18 says, “Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear" Jesus expels all fear, so we can freely proclaim the kingdom in our world today! Sergio shared testimonies of healings and encouraged us all the step out in faith!
We all have a race to run for God: Life. And each life is different, no race is more important to God. Every person has a calling on their life. Mike shared about a time in his life when he allowed fear to control his life.
Pastor Chris expanded on his previous message, taking a look at the 10 commandments and those which related to “Loving Your Neighbour”, one of the greatest commandments given to us by Jesus.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength". Pastor Chris took an in depth look at this statement by Jesus, and how it related to the 10 Commandments in Exodus, in particular the commandments that relate to loving God.
On the weekend of the National Day of Thanks across Australia, Pastor Graham encouraged us to continue to give thanks both to God, and to each other. How can we cultivate gratitude in our own lives? A simple 'thank you' note to someone is a great start!
Out of Isaiah, Mike drew some parallels between what God said to Israel and what He is now saying to us. Don't give up on God's love and glory - It's always there, and will never fail you!
Out of Romans 12, Pastor Kris explained how we have been designed by God, and that our identity is in Him! As His purpose for us is unfolded, we find our TRUE identity.

What are some things we take for granted? God's grace is his unmerited and undeserved favour towards us. It's the love of God shown to the unlovely, the peace of God given to the restless. Grace transforms our motivations and desires. Let's not take it for granted!
If we want to walk a straight path, we need to obey God, submit and trust him. Dave asked 3 questions that can help us walk a straight path; What's your vision for life, who are you partnering with, and what steps are you taking towards maturity?
We’re all on a different journey, it’s important we don’t compare ourselves or think more highly of each other than we should. God has a different journey for each of us and he cares about the little things and little hidden issues in our lives that we may need to deal with.
Graham discussed Romans 12:1-2 where Paul talks about being a “Living Sacrifice”. We are called to do merciful acts in our world, but if we aren’t first a living sacrifice, then we worship the act rather than God. True spiritual worship is presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice to God.
Andy spoke on the life of Joseph, and the incredible obedience he showed in every circumstance. No matter what season you find yourself in today, God wants to use you. Nothing is wasted in God - what we see as tragedy, God sees as an opportunity to shine! Trust the process!
Obedience to God is simple to achieve if our heart is right. But it can become a hardship if we have a poor attitude. God wants to bless us and give us life to the full. He uses peace to guide us in our obedience. And when obedience is active, we can receive that fullness of life.
It's always a great joy to hear testimonies from our Youth! Levi, Kaela & Eve, Verity and Maddy shared their moments of revelation, breakthrough, salvation and transformation during their time at Frontline Youth this year.
Can we declare that Jesus is our foundation, our whole way of life? Our foundations are not what we say or think, they are the reality of what makes us tick and the lens in which we see and understand the world.
Graham shared some history into his life, and gave testimony to God’s hand and favour evident in his ministry over the years.
Graham continued his Easter message, revealing the power of there resurrection of Jesus. His resurrection didn’t just change our position in eternity, but our position for today. Graham encouraged us to make our position in Christ our disposition in life.
It was great to have Graham Fletcher with us again for our 2018 Easter Weekend! Graham took us on a journey through the Crucifixion, sharing insightful detail and unpacking the significance of what Jesus did on the cross. He was God’s passover lamb - the unblemished sacrifice who took away the sins of the world.
Why do we fight God when we know He is Love and wants the best for us? If we deal with the WHY we fight, it’ll take care of the WHAT we fight. Chris discussed Pride and how it can deteriorate our foundation in God - like white ant. The best way to protect ourselves from pride is by clothing ourselves with humility.
In the fifth message of this series, Graham talked about “Letting go of the past”. We all have miscarried dreams, disappointments, feelings of failure and discouragement. The enemy loves to use Jealousy to divide us. But we are called to forget what is behind and press forward towards God’s calling on our lives.
Andy asked us the question, “Who do you want to be in 5 years?” Are we willing and able to change, willing to make the sacrifices in our lives TODAY to reap the goodness in years to come? When we fix our attention on God, we can be confident that our work is not vain.

This Baby Dedication Sunday, Graham discussed some foundational, biblical principles for raising children. As God relates to us as his children, so we must relate to our children. Eph 5.1 says be imitators of God.. follow his example as well beloved children imitate their Father. The Word of God offers us the wisdom and encouragement we need to raising godly children.
Chris gave us a great reminder about the Sabbath Day, debunking some false perceptions and revealing the truth, purpose and rest in observing a Sabbath Day. When we take the law out of the Sabbath, we see that it is a gift from God to be gladly received!
Who’s voice are you listening to? Mike reminded us that we don’t live life on our own. We have the power of the Holy Spirit, the Holy of Holies living in us. Let’s not let the circumstances around us dictate what we believe. We have the same authority Christ had on earth!
Andy reminded us how to find balance in our everyday lives. To remain balanced, we need to be sober minded, well balanced and self-disciplined. Constant adjustments can (and are allowed!) to be made as we adjust our priorities to allow God’s calling to be outworked.
Graham discussed the important principle of sowing and reaping. We are either sowing in the flesh or in the Spirit. Rather that letting the flesh be glorified, ask for the Spirit to engage. Let’s not become weary in doing good, because at the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing!
Storms of life come, hot situations arise and test our foundations. But we have a God who willingly faces the storms with us. Dave spoke on Daniel 3, and shared life testimony of when God has been present in the midst of the storm.
In life, we need a game plan. Otherwise we may just cruise control! In Joshua 24, the tribe of Israel were following their own desires, but Joshua declared on behalf of the whole tribe, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. Who will you serve and worship? The choice is yours.
Upon what cornerstone are you building your life? A cornerstone gives direction to the rest of the foundation and supports the whole building. Jesus Christ is our perfect, unblemished cornerstone. We can look to him for direction and have confidence in our future.
Sometimes the desert is part of our faith journey! Hamish spoke on Numbers 14, where the Israelites quarrelled with God about their situation between Egypt and the Promised Land. Sometimes we feel like God isn’t with us, and we want to go back to where we used to be. But God always has a purpose for us - even in the desert times!
At the beginning of each year, we take time to dedicate all our Staff and volunteers across the Life Ministry Centre Property. This year, Michael Sukkar (Federal Member for Deakin) shared with us his story, and encouraged our church, volunteers and Staff in the role they play in our society.
Chris spoke on Matthew 5:1-11 and talked about the process of underpinning our foundation in Christ. When the original foundation is broken or weak, underpinning can strengthen it and keep it standing. In the Beattitudes, Jesus talks about the blessing and strength that comes to those who are weak.
Graham opens up the story of the Wise and the Foolish Builders in Matthew 7:24-27. Both men had the same vision and faced the same storm, but possessed different characters that brought about their final result. What kind of foundation are you building on in 2018?

Following on from his last message on God’s omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence, Ps Graham continues to unravel God’s incredible attributes. In Eccl 3:1-15, Solomon tells us that life is really a matter of timing, for in everything there is a season.
Has God put a dream or idea in your heart? Chris inspired us to “Go to Bethlehem”, to follow the dream or idea God has given us. Even through doubts, adversity and opposition, God can still succeed, because he does his best work in the impossible!
On our first Sunday of 2018, Pastor Graham spoke on three amazing attributes that make our God the God above all others. His omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence. In Psalm 139, we see the wonder of David as he too unpacks each attribute. God knows us, He sees us and He gives us power to succeed!
Just as God promised the Israelites out of slavery and into a land flowing with milk and honey, so he has promised us out of slavery and into an abundant life with Him. However, with promises, come instructions. That is often where we struggle! We still need to fight our sin and put off our old self in our daily walk.
The Grace of God is this - Christ laid aside his heavenly riches, put on humanity and took on all our sin on the cross so that WE could become rich. Christmas reminds us that we all need a Saviour because we need saving from our sin. Yet, Christ not only removes our sin, but credits us with righteousness!
In Matthew 2:1-16, Graham looked at the wise men and King Herod’s responses to the birth of Jesus. How do we respond to the birth of Jesus? Are we going to reject what Jesus has to offer, or bow down and worship our King of Kings in wonder and joy? This day, choose wonder and joy!
In part 1 of our Christmas series “Unboxing Christmas”, Ps Graham began by unpacking Luke 1:26-38, the Virgin Birth of Jesus. Christmas is a mystery - we might not understand how, but by faith we believe. God came to us on earth to do what we could not do ourselves!
We all go through trials and storms and find ourselves “in a pickle!” However, a presence of a storm doesn’t mean the absence of our God! Andy encouraged us to use the Word of God as our contact lens in our trials. When we keep an eternal perspective, we can find the true purpose of our trials.
This Sunday, Ps Hal Oxley led us in communion! And Ps Graham delivered a message of hope in the truth that our God doesn’t change. He is the same today and forever. Australia has gone through some significant law changes and we might be discouraged, but take heart - be encouraged because our God is sovereign!
God is calling us out of this world and it’s idols, and into a deeper relationship with Him. We can grow more intimate with God! Our intensity and level of hunger for God will determine the intensity and level God will use us. Be challenged with Sergio’s testimonies of healings!
Repentance is not just for the unbeliever. The New Testament clearly teaches that repentance is a part of the life of the believer (Mt 3.8). It is not just remorse or confession, but a change of mind. It is godly sorrow that leads to repentance and leaves no regret!
Hamish spoke on the life of David, and the incredible humility and forgiveness he showed Saul. Forgiveness is an act of love, and although it is not easy, it is far more difficult to hold on to unforgiveness. By forgiving others, we are delivered from the enemy, and it releases those who need forgiveness.
What is your perspective of God? We can all have different perspectives of God in different areas of our lives. And the enemy will do anything to discourage us. Mike gives us 5 points to remember during times when our perspective on God’s truth is tested.

Pastor Graham spoke on Hebrews 12:1-2 focusing on “let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely”. A weight isn’t a sin, but a burden. It is something that impedes our progress in the Christian race set before us. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can take good look at our lives and remove weights that slow us down in our walk.
God loves us too much to leave us where we are. He is constantly at work in our lives to bring change for the better. Chris asked us the question, are we prepared to let God do his work in us?

We are created for good works! And as the Father sent Jesus from heaven to earth, we also have been sent by God to do good works. Our only qualification is to believe! We hope this message not only inspires you, but gives you courage to do great things for God!
It was a joy to have Ian Watto with us! He expressed his love for people through his stories and love for God. Watto shared about anxiety and testified to how God has worked in his life, and reminded us just how much God cares and provides for us.
Cass brought a genuine message on Faith. Each of us come to some point in our journey where logic and reasoning are no longer adequate and we must take a leap of faith. Cass used the story of Elisha and the Shunammite Woman in 2 Kings 4:8-37 to demonstrate what true faith is.
In our last message from our This is Living Now series, Chris brought a challenging word on Godly Relationships. He spoke about how we interact with each other in all types of relationships, and how we show - or struggle to show - love to others. Chris also spoke about God’s order for family and the roles we each have in accordance to God’s word.
The Fear of God can be a tricky concept to understand. Julia sought to bring understanding to what the Fear of God means and how it outworks in our lives. A Godly fear is having reverential trust in God. It produces wisdom, obedience and blessing in our lives. And ultimately a God-fearing Church can bless others and bring increase!
Andy reminded us of an essential part of our Christian faith, our giving! Giving is about the attitude of the heart, because it works selfishness out of our lives. Giving our tithe and our offerings to God is less about the money, and more about trusting God, being obedient and allowing him to use us to be a blessing!
Heidi one of our youth leaders shared on standing up for our faith, why it’s important and how we can do it! And two of our awesome Frontliners, Kaela and Josh, shared testimonies of times when they have stood up for their faith in the school environment.
In our 7th week of our This is Living Now series, Nic spoke on the Church Family. We read through Acts 2: 42-47 and Nic pulled out key characteristics and disciplines of the Early Church. As the church body, we can actively apply and outwork these in our own lives to be the church God wants us to be!
Luke 8:50 says “Don’t be afraid, just believe…” Serge encouraged us to not doubt the Word of God but to believe in it’s power and truth! He shared testimonies of healing and how they have been gateways to sharing the gospel message. All things are impossible to him who BELIEVES!
The Bible is an incredible resource! Peter answered the many questions we have regarding the bible, and gave great advice on how to read and interpret scripture. We can all align and transform our thinking with the Word of God by simply depositing scripture into our mind daily!
Comfort isn't always God's number one priority. Our world is in need of more Christians willing to be uncomfortable for them. In Aaron’s message, he spoke about denying ourselves (and our sense of comfort!), stepping out and extending our faith and willing to find true comfort in an uncomfortable lifestyle in Christ.
In our 5th week of our series This Is Living Now, Kris spoke on Prayer. She challenged us with the thought, “Have you prayed about it as much as you’ve talked about it?” And with that she broke down what prayer is, how it applies to our lives and how Jesus taught us to pray.
In the world, hope is not a reliable strategy. But in the spiritual, Hope is a strategy in Christ. Hamish gave an encouraging word on finding hope in hard times where answers take time to arrive. In Jeremiah 29, we know that God has given us hope and a future, but He also requires us to seek him with all our heart.
In our 4th session of our series “This is Living Now”, Graham spoke on the Holy Spirit. His message gave insight into why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us in the first place, the powerful blessings and outworking of the Holy Spirit, and how we can make the most of this power!
This Father’s Day, Mark shared 7 points on the parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-31), but focused on the Father in the story. Jesus came to show us what His Father is really like. Mark looked at the Father’s actions and attitudes and how they paint a picture of our Heavenly Father.
Tonight, Paul opened up a discussion on the risks of Abortion. He introduced a documentary called “Hush” that showed extensive research and study into the link between abortion and breast cancer.

In our third week of our This Is Living Now Series, Matt talked on Sharing our Faith. How we share our life can look different to everyone. God uses our gifts, position and influence accordingly to fulfil his purposes. Matt asked us ‘How has knowing Jesus Christ changed your life?’ The answer to that question can filter through into our conversations and interactions.
Serge spoke on Sincerity vs. Hypocrisy. We can all play the hypocrite sometimes. But for the sake of the gospel, we need to eradicate hypocrisy in our lives and represent grace and truth in our world. Serge takes us through some healing training, and we spent time praying for people with ailments.
Pastor Graham spoke on Baptism, Part 2 of our This is Living Now Series. Graham shared of the importance and meaning of Water Baptism. It is a funeral, dying to our old self and crossing over into the new. God calls us to outwork our Baptism and to continue to grow in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection each day.
The Apostles Creed talks of the foundational beliefs that we as followers of Christ believe. Mike shared how we can often forget or neglect the basic biblical truths due to our everyday distractions or frustrations of answered prayers. He encouraged us to find our pause and rest and meditate on God’s truths even in despair and busyness.
Pastor Graham introduced our new 9-week series titled “This is Living Now”. This series will be taking a new look at foundational truths and how they outwork in our Christian lives. In this first message, Graham spoke on Salvation. He unpacked the outworking of it in our lives, and how to live out our Salvation everyday.
Chris followed on from his last message “How Long Until You Evict The Squatters?” He shares 5 points on how to take our thoughts captive when they are not in line with God’s truth and His word.
In June this year, a group from LMC and others visited Marita Simpson and the Amari Organisation in Buliisa, Uganda. During this service, we heard from Rob, Don, Julia, Duncan and Paula who were a part of the 2017 team, share their experiences from the trip and how Amari impacted them.
Sean W Smith was with us again for our family service in 2017! We heard some amazing truth from him, and also had the opportunity to sing and dance with all of the children!
What is your 'default' position when it comes to the challenging times in life? Mike used 6 scriptures to help us know how to change our default position to be in line with what God wants for us!
On a morning where we saw Tobias Nelson dedicated, Pastor Graham spoke about the power of not just family, but of being a part of God's family - to which we're all welcome to be a part of! "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"

Pastor Kris shared an amazing word today from 2 Samuel 23, talking about David's mighty men. They provided a great example of how the Word of God enables us to have courage and to be brave!
Pastor Graham reflects on some of the things that impacted him from the 2017 Uganda Trip. He shared of the vision Marita Simpson had for the Amari school and the many difficulties she faced and still faces as the school develops. Graham spoke on the importance of vision, and for where visions have been robbed by circumstances or belief, that God can restore them in people’s lives.
Based in the book of Hebrews, Matt spoke about us being in our own race. God has a specific race purposed for us, and Matt encouraged us how to stay engaged and on track in this race of life!
David Odd always preaches a challenge message, requiring a response from us. In this message, he speaks on the difference between believing something, and only affirming it - with regard to the Word of God!
Aaron broke Romans 12:2 down, while encouraging us to continually be transformed! "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God"
Pastor Chris shared from the story of Jacob & Esau in Genesis 25 - and we saw how unforgiveness and jealousy can impact someone's life in a negative way. But thankfully, God gives us direction in how to overcome them!
Why is it important for us to stay within God's covering? Hamish looked at this and many other points regarding God's covering as a spiritual principle that is outworked.
In this message spoken from the book of Judges 6 - Pastor Matt gave some great lessons from the life of Gideon. "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called."
We are co-heirs with Christ! Pastor Nic spoke from Romans 8 and Matthew 11, and gave us a few points on how to live like Jesus as His 'yoke is easy, and burden light'.
You are a light for Christ! Serge encouraged us to shine the light of God wherever we go, as we're obedient to His calling regarding praying for people and leading them to Jesus!
As we celebrated the National Day of Thanks, we honoured some very special people in our community - Peter & Jenny Harris. Pete & Jenny have tirelessly served the children of our church and community for many years!
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." Isaiah 26:3. Mike delivered a great message on resting and trusting in God. How we rest in God depends greatly on how we trust Him.
It was a privilege to have the mother of the house share the Word this Sunday! Pastor Kris spoke on Galatians 6 and reminded us to not be deceived by the enemy, but to stay steadfast in God's ways and be mindful of what we sow. In the final message of the series 'Chasing After God', Pastor Graham preached this message 'No More Stale Bread'. He challenged each one of us to bring fresh bread to the table as we continue to chase after God!

In Pastor Hal Oxley's 100th birthday celebration service, we heard from his daughter Pamela, Tony Smith MP, Pastor Allan Meyer, and Pastor Graham Nelson. All this, while bringing all of the glory back to our loving God.
How's Your Asking? Are you asking for things in line with God's will for you life? Solomon asked for wisdom, and in return received that and much more!
