I tried putting my finger on the best part of this episode but found it impossible. I mean, too much to choose from. It must have been Dana from Ft Lauderdale, right? A longtime CBD skeptic now calling CBD, “The Miracle Bottle”. Dana now rubs it on her tennis elbow, into her temples for migraines, on her collarbone when that aches and it helps her anxiety. And that’s only the beginning of the list! She even sent some to her cousin abroad who burnt his hand on a grill and that worked! Then there was Jake Madar, a recent college graduate who just finished studying with Dr. Raphael Mechoulam in Israel and learned things there that he could never learn in the U.S. His advice? Use it everyday for sleep issues and anxiety and even with medications that work, CBD can still be utilized in a safe, positive way. Doc G chimed in with important CBD research being done at the University of Arizona (his alma mater) and dropped this bombshell: “Politics and myth have hidden the benefits of this effective medical tool for decades…until now. That wasn’t the case with another company in Florida. A class-action suit was brought against that CBD company, challenging it’s claim of their CBD being all natural. Au contraire said a “curious” customer who had it tested and it came back with traces of copper, nickel and lead. Buyer beware!!! Later, Michael Kruger from Reisterstown took time from his holiday weekend to tell us his Parkinson’s story and how CBD has helped him manage the disease. Diagnosed at age 57, Michael’s been battling Parkinson’s for two years and says, “CBD helps with my tremors and helps relax me.
