Biography: Dr. Henry Joseph Svec received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 1988. A clinical Psychologist licensed to practice in Michigan and Ontario Canada, Henry built his small practice to be one of the largest in Southern Ontario eventually expanding to offices in Windsor, Chatham, Sarnia and London. He has also been a real estate investor for over 40 years, investing in commercial and residential real estate. Currently he lives on the Wildflower Bee Farm in Blenheim Ontario with his wife Mary, spending his working time on continued private practice, real estate investing, wealth management, Angel Investing, writing and leading his new tech start-up ExerciseMD.ca.
While investing in Real Estate-Cash Flow properties has been the primary investment vehicle for the family, Henry also has developed skills in other more conventional-alternative strategies. During the past 3 years his TFSA portfolio for example has earned 80.4% and currently during 2018 29.12% while the TSX is at -5% and the S&P 500 7.91% up to October. These numbers include Dividends paid by those stocks held in the TFSA. You can see that Shrink Money Advice seems to be working for Henry and Mary. In the final chapters of his book "Shrink Money Advice" you will learn new investment strategies and the names of those stocks that “Harvey” is investing in which are all strangely similar to those held by Henry. Yes he takes his own advice as he did 10 years ago. You can contact him directly here hensvec@livegreener.ca
