For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Think about all of the limits and boundaries we set when we subscribe to the idea of impossibility. We tend to hold on to more can’ts than cans, wholeheartedly believing in our limitations. All too often, we stick to old, outdated beliefs about ourselves. And, in turn, those around us enforce these ideas because we allow them to.
But, what if we allow this to shift? With God’s grace and immense power, nothing is impossible. Let’s begin to dwell in the possible ...let’s embrace the idea that our ideas and abilities have no bounds. By simply opening our hearts, minds, and imaginations to the power of God, we realize the possible.

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Let this sink in a moment. Despite our individual personalities and uniqueness, God gave us all a spirit of power, love, and self-control. Not some; all. He did not create us to be fearful and timid. He designed us to be innately equipped to deal with the trials and tribulations of life! But how often do we let fear, worry and doubt overcome our true spirit? When these words really sink in and become imbedded in our psyche, we will truly be free to live fearlessly, to live the life God has intended.

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
Honey is an amazing food source. Not only does it taste yummy, it has internal and external healing properties; and is one of the richest source of nutrients. Honey has been used for healing, rituals, and sweetener since ancient Egypt. Honey rarely spoils. God led the Jews to the land of milk and honey so it must be valuable!
Our kind words are sweetness to the ears of others, they will never become outdated or expire. Like honey, kind words, spoken in love, have the power to nourish, restore, and edify.

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Birds are pretty inspirational creatures: they motivated man to invent a flying machine. They’ve motivated musicians and poets for centuries. They mesmerize birders and biologists. And birds seem to have a pretty good life: eat, sing, sleep. They don’t get all caught up in the “what if” of life like their squirrel neighbors.
Birds trust that their needs will be meet anew each morning… and sing their songs of praise to God! Be like a bird. Wake up, sing your song, and trust Him to meet today’s needs.

Let all that you do be done in love.Boy, this is a tough one. ALL things? This is not about loving the things we do or learning to love them. This is the dig deep kind of love that Christ shows us - the love that bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things. A selfless love for others. Even when they don’t seem so loveable. Even when we don’t feel like loving.
Take a moment to think of all the things in your life that you can do better if you were to do them in love. How would your words change? Your actions? Your thoughts?
Keep this verse close to your heart, your mind, and your tongue as a reminder to do all things in love.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
My grandfather was born in 1899. In his lifetime, he farmed with horses, survived the great Depression and watched a man land on the moon. The world around us is still changing and evolving. What was a sure investment yesterday, has crashed today. How reassuring, believer in Christ, to know that He. Doesn’t. Change.
Jesus didn’t have a mid-millennial crisis. He didn’t develop a Jesus 2.0 version. From the beginning of existence, His plan, His love for us has never changed, never failed. Our investment in Christ is the only sure thing we can count on.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
We've all seen dramatic before-and-after transformation photos when people have committed to making a drastic physical change. These changes are easy to see and document. But what about the transformations that happen on the inside? What happens when we commit to living as a believer in Christ?
We need to go beyond the physical, the "do", and open ourselves up to a fulfillment that no material possession or physical goal can deliver. A relationship with Christ that is based on pure love, joy, and redemption that enables a mind-set of truth, confidence, and self-worth.
The old has passed. The new has come.

**For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Be. Not do.** Known as the “mini-gospel,” this pretty much sums up our Christian belief system. Yet, because we are human, we complicate this message by reading too much into it.
It’s pretty simple: God has a plan for each and every one of us to spend eternity with Him. He sent His Son to be the mediator for our sins. The New Testament isn’t “plan B” because “plan A" didn’t work. We can’t earn our way to heaven. We can't tithe our way to heaven. We can't talk our way into heaven. “Do”-ing will not get us there, only our “be”-lief in Christ.
