Here’s some quick back story.
I have never been a big resolution guy, but in 2022 I set a single resolution. That’s it. just one.
And that resolution helped me lose 15lbs.
In today’s episode I share the…
discovery I made in 2021 that inspired my single resolution.
the book that inspired me to only focus on one resolution.
one resolution I am focusing on in 2023.
It’s 28 minutes long. My suggestion is to listen to this while going for a walk, a run or a drive.
When you are done, I want to you ponder the ONE THING you are going to focus on in 2023 to help you achieve your weight loss goals.

2023 is fast approaching so in today’s show I am going to suggest you do something radically different to finally lose that weight you have so desperately tried to lose.
And it doesn’t involve any of the usual extreme manoeuvres you are accustomed to like…
joining a gym
a bootcamp
a fast
a detox
or some other extreme unsustainable solution.
Instead, I am going to suggest you find a weight loss mentor.
We have them in other areas of life, yet we don’t have them in this area.
And we should.
It’s one of the fastest ways to learn so we can achieve long lasting success.
In today’s episode I share the 5 critical boxes that must be checked when you are looking for your weight loss mentor.
Box #1 — Has a weight loss story that is similar to what you are looking to lose.
Box #2 — Has sustained that weight loss for at least 3 to 5 years and counting.
Box #3 — Has a methodology that would fit into the context of the life you lead.
Box #4 — Has a program based on principles not prescriptions.
Box #5 — Has a philosophy and values that fits with yours.
I share some entertaining stories for each in my attempt to build my case for finding your weight loss mentor.
Enjoy!

Hey there,
Welcome to another episode of The Psychology of Weight Loss.
In today’s show I share the 3 habits I have bundled together that are largely responsible for my 43.8 lb weight loss success.
Habit #1 — Weigh myself.
Habit #2 — Log my foods.
Habit #3 — Stay within my calorie sweet spot (CSS).
By sharing not only what I do, but why I do these habits, my hope is that you will steal these and begin incorporating them into your daily life.
Why?
Because weight loss follows habits.
And these habits have created remarkable success for me.
They will absolutely create remarkable success for you as well.

Hey there,
Welcome to another episode of The Psychology of Weight Loss.
Today’s show is about the necessity of investing in reasonable habits vs radical ones.
As a recovering radical junkie, I can tell you that radical solutions never work.
Why? Because they…
are really hard to do
require a lot of time, energy and motivation to do
are not enjoyable
burn us out
do not scale long-term
Ironically, by defaulting to reasonable solutions, I have been able to create remarkable results.
Why? Because they...
focus on doing less to achieve more
are within our level of competence
don’t require a lot of time, energy or motivation
fit into the context of the life we live
are enjoyable
don’t burn us
get results
scale long-term.
In today’s episode I share an example of a recent radical error I made and how I quickly corrected it.
It’s me thinking out-loud so you can hear my thought process in terms of why I made the mistake and how I went about correcting it.
Listen with a pen and jot down any mindsets, strategies and insights that you feel will be useful on your journey.
To thinking greater than your emotions,
Dean

So I’m launching a new season of the podcast — with a twist.
It’s going to have a new name — The Psychology of Weight Loss.
Why psychology you ask?
Because weight loss is a soft skill where how you behave is way more important than what you know.
And behaviour is hard when emotions get in our way.
The goods news is we can learn to think greater than our emotions so we don’t get derailed on our weight loss journey.
I know this first hand.
I was an utter failure at this weight loss thing for the first 53 years of my life.
And I can also tell you with absolute certainty that if you don’t like what you look like, it will negatively impact how you show up in every other area of your life.
I finally figured some things out that have allowed me to lose almost 45lbs and get to 9.6% body fat at 57 — an age people think such things are not possible.
But here’s what makes my approach different from everyone else…
I don’t restrict calories (2200/day)
All my meals spark joy
I only do 10 minutes of training a day
I don’t go to a gym
I do mostly body weight exercises
I train in the clothes I’m wearing
I don’t break a sweat
I don’t do cardio
Everything I do is simple
It works no matter where my feet are
I don’t take supplements
My only expense is the food I buy
I treat myself every single day
Here is the best part about all those I just listed — it puts me in the 1% of the 1% because I have sustained that success for the last 1217 days.
Ideas worth stealing…
I am going to use the show to take you inside my head and share how I think about the things that trip most people up.
And it won’t just be psychology.
Habits and mindsets also play a critical role in my success and I will be offering insights on how I have successfully transformed each of those on my journey.
Here’s a master list of topics I will be sharing insights on…
Psychology
Habit design and development
Mindset design
Languaging - Talking successfully
Systems, frameworks and mental models
False beliefs
Measurement and self-management
Writing for weight loss
Weight loss laws
Simplicity
Continuous self-improvement
Deliberate practice
Neuroplasticity
Decision making
Self-discipline
Resilience/failure recovery
10-minute training
Sparking joy
Strategies to think greater than your emotions
There will be plenty of ideas worth stealing.
Episode Notes…
So let’s break down today’s show,
Here are a few big ideas I talk about that you will want to be listening for, taking notes on and stealing for yourself.
The 20/80 Rule.
Why I am qualified to talk about the psychology of weight loss.
How my failed podcast efforts parallels failing at the weight loss journey.
Explain what a Big Domino Mindset is.
Introduce the phrase “cautious optimism” and explain what it is and why it is important.
Why having a healthy obsession for succeeding at weight loss is essential.
How I landed on the name for the show.
Resource I reference — The Psychology of Money.
Why we have to learn to think greater than our emotions.
Enjoy my friend.

Hey — Dean here!
So today’s episode is being recorded while I deal with COVID.
I thought it would be a good episode to share how, or if, my successful body habits are holding up.
You have heard me say before that I design my habits to work on my worst day vs my best. While this is definitely not my worst day, it’s not my best either.
I share how my habits are holding up and how luck factors into this journey.
Enjoy the show and hey — keep being awesome my friend,
Dean

Hey! Dean here. Three quick things.
One. I changed the name of the Podcast to “The Habit Show” and the newsletter to “Habit Secrets.”
I quickly explain why in today’s show.
Two. To help identify my emails in your inbox moving forward, I will be adding the shush emoji 🤫. It’s in reference to habit secrets.
Three. Today’s show is about the Will Smith Oscar slap.
But with a twist. That was an unpredictable outcome that no one could foresee.
I talk about dealing with the unpredictable vs. the unexpected on your journey to building remarkable habits.
It’s a different take on a hot topic that will help you redefine what failure is and how you can successfully deal with it.
Enjoy and thank you for your support.
Keep being awesome 😎,

Aloha!
Let me start by sharing a mistake I made in this episode. At around the 5:15 mark I said…
Products are designed to work on our worst days. They are not designed to work on our worst days.
Unfortunately, that’s an example of how my brain likes to mess with me. Here’s what I wanted to say.
Products are designed to work on our BEST days. They are not designed to work on our worst days.
Whew! That feels good to get that out in the open.
Here’s the gist to today’s show.
We should be looking to design good habits that work on our bad days.
I think of bad days like a pyramid.
At the bottom are simple things that throw us off like a bad sleep or sleeping in.
As we creep up the pyramid we see things like someone hijacking our time with something they “think” is urgent.
Higher up is an argument or disagreement that derails us by throwing us into emotional turmoil.
At the very top of the pyramid is the worst kind of days possible: dealing with loss and grief.
That last one is something I have been thinking a lot about lately. I have been very lucky and fortunate that I have not had a lot of that to deal with yet. But I will and I am trying to prepare myself for that.
In the episode, I talk about that and share a story about why I think good habits are important to dealing with the devastation that comes with loss and grief.
It’s a good listen with lots of takeaways for you to noodle on as you rethink how you design and adopt habits.
Enjoy and thank you for your support.
Keep being awesome 😎,
🇨🇦🇨🇦

This episode is about the power of compounding.
Einstein is often attributed with saying that compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world. (Fun fact: It turns Einstein never said that at all. Go figure!)
Regardless of who said it, compounding is a profound principle that applies not only to interest, but to habits as well.
Great achievement is not a result of a 30 day sprint, but rather a lifetime of compounding behaviours, which start with days, then turn into weeks, months, years and decades.
Today’s show is about the first magical milestone on your journey to compounding essential habits: the first 100 days!
Enjoy my friend.

Last week I started doing something I never thought I could do or even wanted to do. I started eating all my calories within a 90-minute window.
In this podcast, I share how that accidental idea came to be a thing I am presently experimenting with.

Want to know something I have not done in the 951 days I have been on my Successful Body Journey?
A CHEAT DAY!
Why?
Because when you actually break down the thinking, you realize it’s a ridiculous idea that defies common sense.
In this episode I’m going to share 3 reasons the cheat day concept is incredibly poor thinking that dramatically decreases your chances of building a highly successful body.
To hammer home the ridiculousness of the idea, I compare it to drug use and cheating on a romantic partner. You’ll understand once you listen to the show.
It’s worth noting that these views are my own. Your job is listen with an open mind, steal what you think is useful and discard everything that you think is useless.

Hey - It’s Dean.
So I’m up at a friend’s cottage this weekend. They are all off skiing so I thought I would use the quiet time to record a podcast episode for you on the power of “Deciding in Advance.”
One of the common mistakes people make on their journey to achieve their version of a highly successful body is they show up somewhere then decide what they are going to eat. I do the exact opposite.
I decide and then I show up.
The distinction between the two approaches may sound trivial, but the impact of the latter is tremendous.
I share the details in this episode and it relates to this picture I took of the foods I was bringing with me for my trip.
It only takes one idea to transform your body and your life. It would suck to miss it.
It’s <12 minutes.
Happy listening and learning.

Welcome to another episode of the Unrecognizable Podcast. It’s a show dedicated to teaching successful body habits to late-bloomers; people like me, who are older, and have not yet had the success they desire, but are relentless in their pursuit to finally figure it out.
If you are not a subscriber yet, I would kindly ask you to consider becoming one to fast-track your habit apprenticeship.
In today’s episode I talk about a concept I created for myself that has been crucial to my success. It’s called…
I share the 8 steps to creating an effective habit ladder, and I give you an example of how I am using it to train myself to get up earlier.
*Please note the concept of the habit ladder can be applied to any habit you are looking to develop in any area of life your wish.
The 8 steps I will discuss in further detail are…
Establish your why.
Speculate on potential outcomes.
Identify the endgame goal.
Start where you are at.

Episode highlights…
I share a story that makes me look like a complete knucklehead. It revolves around how I got “robbed” while in Colombia, South America.
The 4 lessons learned from this experience.
Intelligence is domain specific.
Emotions wreak havoc on our ability to think rationally.
We don’t know what we don’t know.
We have an incredible ability to rationalize really bad behaviours.
I then tie the lessons into why smart people make dumb eating choices.
We have a low eating IQ. I call this Eating Intelligence.
We are unaware of the emotional triggers that set us off.
We have no idea what beliefs we have that simply are not true (False Beliefs.)
Our incredible ability to rationalize our lousy behaviours (Rationalization Bias.)
I end with a big takeaway…how we can and should pursue Intellectual Humility so we can increase our odds of making smarter decisions in all of life.
How to listen and act on this episode!
Listen with an open mind and be willing to challenging your assumptions about what you believe to be true.
Focus on one big idea that resonates and find a way to test it now.
Start small with a behaviour that has minimal emotional friction attached. For example, if you constantly misplace your keys, start with that and create a brain training protocol to help you eliminate that problem.
Track your progress and refine your process.
Extract the wisdom and apply it to a more challenging brain training activity.
Repeat the framework for the duration of your life.
Good luck my friend,

I share the backstory about how I finally figured out how to quit refined sugar for good, which includes how I gave it up for one year in 2018 and lost 0lbs!
I reveal my Mindset Model. This is my secret sauce to building remarkable habits (and breaking bad ones) that last.
I talk about the Big Domino Mindset that I eventually landed on in July, 2019 that has allowed me to successfully quit sugar for the past 868 days. Suck it sugar!
I share how I am applying the principles learned from my sugar success to the Essential Habit that I have been an absolute failure at ~> Intermittent fasting.
I tie all the ideas back to you and how you can use the principles to create change in any area that you have long struggled to change, whether it be relationships, money, building a business, overcoming something like anxiety or achieving your version of a successful body.
Your takeaway?
Knowledge is NOT power. Acting on what we learn to create meaningful and impactful transformation in our life is. My suggestion is to listen to this episode multiple times with the idea of focusing on one big idea that really resonates that you can apply to your life now.

Hey there my friend,
So the second episode of my podcast, Unrecognizable with Dean Dwyer, is now available.
The purpose of this show is to teach you a skill you have never been exposed to … the ability to change your own behaviours so you can achieve those things you desire most. It is the greatest skill we can learn how to master, because it is the key to immediate and enduring happiness. It’s the ultimate superpower.
Here’s what you are in store for today.
In this episode I share a 6-part framework that you can begin using now to change any behaviour that has prevented you from not only achieving your potential, but exceeding it.
Here's a preview of what you will learn.
1. Accept that behaviours are skills & all skills can be learned and mastered.
We vastly underestimate our ability to teach ourselves anything, whether that thing be discipline, resilience, or patience to name a few.
2. Establish your why.
There are two key questions to answer here. What's in it for you? And what's in it for others when you achieve your goal?
3. Acquire a new way to think about your problem.
Every problem we have exists because he have a false belief around that area and that prevents us from having success. We need to identity what that false belief is and then look to counter it by creating a new way of thinking that I call The Big Domino Mindset.
4. Understand why it's vital to keep your commitments to yourself.
There are 3 aspects to explore here. The frequency of a new habit, it’s duration and the psychology behind your commitment.
5. Default to simplicity.
Humans are hardwired for complexity, but complexity is not sustainable long-term. You must rigorously, relentlessly and ruthlessly eliminate the unnecessary.
6. Grow as you go.
Learn how to navigate failure, imperfection and inconsistency as you strive to create profound change.
What's your takeaway?
Knowledge is NOT power. Acting on what we learn to create meaningful and impactful transformation in our life is. My suggestion is to listen to this episode actively with the idea of focusing on one big idea that really resonates with you that you can apply to your life now.
Enjoy my friend,
To becoming unrecognizable,

By default I'm an avoider. If something gets the better of me (meaning it chews me up and spits me out emotionally) I will avoid it to spare myself any future anguish.
But here's the thing. Avoidance in the short-term can be a positive thing IF there's a plan in place to build resiliency to that thing moving forward.
But avoidance as a long-term plan is a terrible solution because avoidance forces us to live small. Like really small. And the goal in life is to live big. Like really BIG! And you can't do that when you are running from all your major problems in life.
In today's episode I share 3 things that will provide tremendous value for you...
Most importantly, I highly encourage you to steal my methodology and use it to tackle that big thing you have been avoiding in your life.
To eliminating avoidance for good,
Dean

I had great success transforming how I looked back in 2011, 2012 and the early part of 2013 and then over time, bad habits and faulty logic began to creep back in and soon I was pretty much back to where I once was; overweight and not liking the look of the body I had created for myself.
Flash forward 8 years and I now weigh 169.6 lbs as of this episode. It's my lowest weight since birth. OK, I kid. It's my lowest weight in 35 years. The last time I weighed this little I was 19 years old.
In today's episode I share 3 mindsets (of the 25 I have identified) that helped me "effortlessly" build my version of a successful body.
These are powerful mindsets that have vast applications beyond building a successful body. Look to see how you can apply them in other areas of your life.
To building your mental conditioning,

In today's episode I share a case study of a major mindset mistake I see many people make in online communities that they are a part of.
Here is what I dig into in today's show...
That's it. Make sure you pay attention to your own thoughts that arise and be sure to pull out the principles that you can apply to all areas of your life.
Now go be awesome today my friend.

In today's episode I dive into a mindset that I absolutely love. EVERYTHING IS FIGURE-OUT-ABLE.
The show is based on a mindset that I discovered from a gal doing amazing things in the world, Marie Forleo. Coincidentally she recently published a book by the same name. You should definitely check that out.
Here is what I dig into in today's show...
And don't forget to pay attention to the thoughts that arise as you are listening to this. Acknowledge them, capture them and noodle on them in a way that lets you do something extraordinary with them.
OK, that's it. Now go make awesome sh*t happen today.

In today's episode I hit on some big ideas around a concept I call ground zero skills. This is a mindset I think about often, especially in a time where job security for most no longer exists.
The show is based on a hypothetical question. If you lost everything financially today and you had nothing but a laptop and an internet connection, what skills do you possess that would allow you to begin making money tomorrow?
Here is what I dig into in today's show...
Before I go, I always end the same way. Remember to pay attention to the thoughts that scratch their way to the surface while you are listening to this. Don't ignore them. Acknowledge them, capture them and noodle on them in a way that lets you do something extraordinary with them.
OK, that's it. Now go be freaking awesome today.

In today's episode I hit on some big ideas around the Relationship Deposit Mindset. This is a mindset I practice every single day. It's always my goal to make a relationship deposit. By that I mean I am always looking to add value to someone's life so that when they exit the transaction their life is better than it was before.
Here is what I dig into in today's show...
I will sign off by reminding you to pay attention to your thoughts that claw their way to the surface while you are listening to this. Don't ignore them. Instead, acknowledge them, capture them and noodle on them in a way that lets you do something extraordinary with them.
OK, that's it.
Now go do something remarkable with today my friend and remember - keep being awesome.

In today's episode I hit on 3 big ideas about the awesomeness of aging as I enter my 54th year on the planet - or day 19,710 for those playing along at home.
Here's what I dig deeper on...
And before I sign off, just a simple reminder. Pay attention to the thoughts that bubble to the surface as you listen to this episode. If they claw their way to the surface of your grey matter it means they are important. Acknowledge them. Capture them. Noodle on them. And if they are game-changing, find a way to act on them.
Ok that's it.
Now go do something remarkable with today my friend and remember - keep being awesome.
Dean
PS. If you are looking for a way to support the show and the work I do, consider leaving a review on iTunes. It only takes a minute, but it definitely helps the show reach a larger audience. And that good karma will find it's way back to you my friend. I promise. :-)

What's going on my friend?
Dean Dwyer here. If you have been listening to these shows, then you have heard me mention that I designed a program for myself called 5-minute abs. (Don't you dare think of one-upping me with 4-minute abs!!)
It has worked remarkably well, much to the surprise of my abs.
Well a young man from New York (who coincidentally owns a super cool acting studio that sports Oscar winner Sam Rockwell as a former student) asked me if I could elaborate on what I do.
So {{first_name}}, I thought I would use this podcast to do that.
BUT I will go one better. Not only will I tell you what I do, but I will tell you the 4 WHYS behind WHAT I do. The WHYS will be far more valuable to you than my WHAT.
OK enough. Go have a listen my friend.
Dean

I thought I would take you behind the scenes and share something from my journal. One of the most challenging aspects of building a successful body is the emotional flattening we experience when things continually don't go the way we planned.
In today's episode, I share some thoughts on what we can learn from Warren Buffett and the ability to think more rationally.

| What's going on my friend? So I think you will find today's podcast quite amusing. in the last episode I went into detail about how I use my willpower protocol to build and maintain my version of a successful body when attending events that are outside my control. And I loved doing the before and after format so I could model the thinking behind how and why I do what I do. BUT, it wasn't until after I released the podcast that I discovered there was a problem. I told you my plan was implemented perfectly. I discovered the next morning that IT WAS NOT. Here's how I found out. Step 5 in the willpower protocol is to extract wisdom. I always do that the morning after. So when I sat down to review the previous day, I uncovered 3 mistakes that I did not know I had made when I recorded that initial "after" episode for you. In this episode, I breakdown...* the one thing I did when I woke up that immediately revealed I had made a big boo boo. * the 3 mistakes I uncovered after I was armed with my new information. * how I converted those mistakes into timeless wisdom that will have a remarkable impact on my success moving forward.
That's it my friend. Enjoy. And if you are curious to learn more about my willpower protocol, I will be doing a relaunch of the new and improved course over the coming weeks. Stay tuned. |

Today's podcast is a before and after about an all day birthday party I was attending. I did not show up at this event unprepared. I walk you through the mental conditioning I performed to skew success in my favour. It's a 5-step willpower protocol that helps people build Deliberate Discipline so they can achieve their own successful body. I then did a follow up podcast right after the event and discussed the outcomes I achieved and the wisdom I extracted.

I'm always amused by "experts" who tell people that to succeed they have to have belief, or they have to have confidence or they have to have discipline. But we don't "have" these things. We build these things.
In today's episode, I'm going to share some strategies on how you can begin to teach yourself how to have more of any virtue you want; from belief to emotional immunity. And I will do that of course by sharing a few stories that you will most definitely find entertaining.

So let me heighten your curiosity my friend by telling you the 5 things you are doing to discover in this episode. 1. What the perfect introduction is. It's incredibly simple but profoundly effective. 2. How to use the perfect intro to create profound clarity in your work and your life. 3. How I’m using the concept to go all in on something I call The Successful Body. 4. Some startling stats on an invisible epidemic no one is really talking about. 5. The one BIG mindset mistake people make that prevents them from having success losing weight and building their successful body.
Enjoy and if I haven't mentioned it lately, thanks for being awesome!

So I have mentioned before that I have created a program for myself called The Successful Body Protocol. I put it together so I could create a body I was proud of that would support me well into my 70s, 80s and 90s.
There are a number of pieces to the protocol. One piece is my Score Card for Success. This is comprised of 10 vital behaviours I perform every single day without fail.
And #10 on that list is, "Keep score and extract wisdom."
Every night I give myself a score out of 10 (perfection is always the goal) and then review a series of questions to capture wisdom that will serve me for years to come.
A few nights ago, I wrote this in my journal...
Stay afraid! This is a reminder to myself not to get overconfident with my abilities. I am writing this because I caught myself thinking how effortless it has become to fast. Not eating at night was so difficult for so long and now I don’t even think about it. I feel like I have the problem solved for good.
BUT THAT'S RESISTANCE TALKING!!! That’s resistance trying to get me to let my guard down; to lower my standards for just a second...
In today's podcast I expand on this journal entry and how staying afraid will allow me to thrive for decades to come. I also dive a bit more into that elusive force known as Resistance.
Be sure to listen. There are some great takeaways you can apply to your journey.

When Steve Jobs came back to Apple for his second and most successful stint, one of the first things he did is cut their product line by 70%.
As Jobs would later say, "Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do."
I disagree. I think deciding what not to do is even more important than what to do, because the list of what not do is MUCH longer. And each item on that list of unnecessary things comes with its own unique brand of resistance that beats us down and burns us out over time.
In today's podcast episode I share a personal story of how I am going about removing resistance.
As you are listening I would suggest two things.
One. Pay attention to the thoughts that bubble up to the surface, even if they are not related to resistance. They are important.
Two. When the episode is over do this powerful thinking exercise.
Identify one area of your life where you have created a tremendous amount of resistance. What could you begin to remove to reduce or eliminate the resistance it has created?
That's it my friend.
Enjoy.

Lebron James is a fascinating human. Not only does he have a high basketball IQ, he has a high life IQ. The dude is just a wise man. So when I heard that he stays in peak physical condition year round (read: he never lets himself fall out of shape) I knew I had to learn more about this mindset and any principles I could steal and use in my own life. In this episode I dive into how I tweaked that mindset to help me master intermittent fasting and why this is so important on my quest to building a successful body.

Here’s the trouble with mindset. Everyone says it’s important, but no one has a model that shows the components that make it work. It’s like saying writing is important, but not revealing the alphabet that it is based on. That changes today. Inspired by an Einstein quote, I have created a Mindset Model that reveals exactly how mindset operates so can plug in new mindsets of your own to make profound transformation happen in your life. This is a game-changer my friend.

What if society has it all wrong? What if the most productive people are those who focus on the counter-intuitive idea of doing less to accomplish more. Rather than creating exhaustive lists they determine the ONE THING that would have the greatest impact on their life, and they make that their primary focus. I call that The One Thing Mindset and to illustrate it's power, I share the story of how I used the mindset to escape the addictive hold of sugar and eliminate it from my diet for good.

Today’s episode was inspired by a company called InfusionSoft. There is a rumour that the company is looking to change their name because people have begun to call them ConfusionSoft. This is obviously terrible for their brand, but their thinking with regard to this problem is all wrong. It is addressing a symptom, not the root cause. I am going to do a deep dive into how they should be addressing this problem and I share 3 other stories that demonstrate the incredible power of the root cause mindset to eliminate your most challenging problems for good.

This episode was inspired by something I read about Oprah in Success Magazine about 15 years ago. They had done a profile where she revealed the one thing that had the greatest impact on her life. She kept a gratitude journal. At the end of each day she would write down 5 things she was most grateful for. She felt that act alone had the greatest impact on her success in business and life. Today, gratitude is common practice amoungst abundance-minded people. But there is only one problem with it. It's an internal exercise done in isolation. Gratitude can have an exponential impact when it is expressed externally to those we are grateful for. In today’s show I share 3 possibilities on how you can go about doing that. And the best part! All are free and super easy to implement right now.

Back in 2006 I attended a talk by Wayne Dyer and he said something extremely profound that I never forgot. He talked about an orange and what happens when you squeeze it. Orange juice comes out of course. WAIT! That's not the profound part. People are no different. When they get squeezed, what's inside is what comes out. In this episode I share the insane Jerry Springer-like story of a 6 foot 7 giant who got squeezed by something I did and the raging emotional meltdown that followed. I then bring things back to you and how you can use this idea in both your personal and professional life.

Some of the greatest gifts given to the world were created by people who were capable of making the invisible visible. They do this by creating frameworks. Frameworks allow you to see what you previously could not. In today's episode, I share a story of how a hospital I recently visited created a framework that turned an otherwise stressful experience into something rather enjoyable. I share a few other examples of people who have created some fascinating frameworks. I end by sharing strategies on how you can creatively apply the mindset to your life.

There is something magical that happens when you combine 3 seemingly unrelated ideas together in a way where their point of intersection creates something the world has never seen before. In this episode I share the origin of the idea (comedians use it, authors use it, companies use it), the structure of the idea so you have a clear visual of what it looks like, how I used it to find my purpose for the next 25 years, and how you can take the same mindset and apply it in your life.
